Daystar, TBN and Anti-Christ

I am studying the Anti-Christ. There is no doubt Daystar and TBN provide a venue for Servants of Satan, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, who exchange God's Truth for Satan's Lies.
I believe these people are competing to see who among them is the greatest Anti-Christ. What are your thoughts?

As far as The Word of God. The Only trinity I find Is, the devil, the false prophet, the antichrist.

Glory to God n Father which who Is, Jesus Christ
---Lawrence on 8/9/14

Anu, I want to ask if you are one of those people who reads Matthew 7:1, but avoid the verses which follow it?

Strongaxe, look at all of the people you see on TBN and Daystar, then do research and see how many of them have denied Christ.

Scripture teaches we are to have nothing to do with FALSE TEACHERS, yet TBN and Daystar aprove of them Romans 1:18-32.

---michael_e on 3/17/12

Internet is ok because you are here and you are ok pretty much, I think.
---Pat.pat on 3/17/12

Pat-pat, I understand why you say what you do but lets be real. Evil is everywhere. The radio, newspapers, internet, tv's, movies, etc. You singled out Daystar. I do believe there is a few good man who come on that station. TBN is the same. Most of the speakers are false teachers that is for sure, asking for money. They do seem to be competing who is the worst antichrist. But is everywhere Pat. Peace.

So, what evil is there that is on TV that isn't on the internet? Can you point out anything specific?

You do realize, don't you, that almost every program you can see on TV you can also watch on the internet? Plus, there is a lot of very nasty stuff on the internet that can't be shown on TV at all.
---StrongAxe on 3/16/12

Strong Ax, no, just TV. Holy Ghost lets me be no here.
---Pat.pat on 3/16/12

You said: I know TV is of the devil because I got the Holy Ghost.

OK, so your knowledge is from "personal divine revelation" then. I guess your Holy Ghost is telling you different than the Holy Ghost that talks to every Christian who has ever been on television (including Billy Graham)? Is thiers all wrong?

Does your Holy Ghost also tell you the internet is "of the devil" too (because I know a lot of people seem to believe that too).
---StrongAxe on 3/16/12

I know TV is of the devil because I got the Holy Ghost.
---Pat.pat on 3/16/12

Can you provide some evidence that "all television is of the devil", other than personal opinion?
---StrongAxe on 3/16/12

All television is of the devil. Don't watch it. Go to a bible believing church and spend your time there. Come out and be ye separate and touch not the unclean thing.
---Pat.pat on 3/15/12

I used to regularly watch several shows on TBN back in the 80s and 90s. I don't recall anyone there every denying that Jesus came in the flesh.
---StrongAxe on 3/13/12

I personally have never heard anything on Daystar or TBN that is obviously anti-Bible. But . . . I maybe have never seen a Daystar show. So, this could have something to do with it (c: I think I have seen one TBN show and one or two by . . . I don't remember his name. We need to have our attention where our attention belongs.

The Bible says, "and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world" (1 John 4:3) So, do they confess that Jesus has come in the flesh, or not?

There is a Biblical definition of "antichrist", which Cluny mentioned.

The Bible also mentions false teachers, false apostles, false prophets, etc. These are also bad, but not as bad as "antichrist".

Saying "someone is not antichrist" does not in any way imply he is a good person.

Cluny, are you pretending to be blind and naive, or are you playing Satan's Advocate.

These people preach another Jesus and not the Jesus found in the Bible. Many times I have heard these people both deniy and reject the Jesus of the Bible.

I have heard them say they are from God, yet reject the True God of all creation.

These people say they are sharing the Gospel, but they will not tell you the Gospel they are sharing is a different Gospel, and not the Gospel of Christ Jesus, Galatians Chapter One.
---Rob on 3/12/12

I remember watching one years ago who was teaching people to pray to "the God that is within you", almost as if they were praying to themselves.

From the way was wording things, it didn't seem like he was talking about an external God that was indwelling people's hearts, but more like a god that emerges from one's own heart.
---StrongAxe on 3/12/12

Don't Christian TV shows inform the audience with a disclaimer at the beginning, saying that, The words and views from the guests, are not necessarily the words or views of the broadcaster or their affiliates or their sponsors? I think Christian TV is a good thing, but they could stop misusing the scriptures for an excuse to fleece the flock of God, and instead they should stay on the New Testament scriptures more than they do. Too many times when we turn to the Christian TV they are asking for money, and misusing and misapplying the scriptures in order to get it from the people. Thus say the Lord God, Preach the Word! and stop preaching money! This goes for churches also, Preach my Word! and stop preaching money!
---Eloy on 3/12/12

I think you've got it wrong.

Whatever doctrinal errors might be spread by TV evangelists, none of them (as far as I know) deny that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, which the Bible says is the spirit of Antichrist.

BTW, why are you wasting your time with learning about Antichrist? I'm more interested in JESUS Christ, to Whom be glory.
