1Th 4:14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.

But that would imply that believers went to be with Jesus and were conscious after their death.

Those who have accepted the drawing of God by repenting of sin, believing in Christ.
They die daily to self (picking up cross and bear it) And walk in the spirit of Christ are those that beling to the Body of Christ.

So, those who die in the Lord are blessed, and Christ's body is "one body". So, those alive and those who have died are "in one body".

"Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, 'Write: "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on."' 'Yes,' says the Spirit, 'that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.'" (Revelation 14:13)

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

So, those who die in the Lord are blessed, and Christ's body is "one body". So, those alive and those who have died are "in one body".

This is the "Body of Christ" (His spiritual church):

"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me.

And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which He hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day."
John 6:37-39

"ALL THAT THE FATHER GIVETH ME" includes the OT, NT and ALL the saints to come till the Day of the Lord.

And as we all know, it's impossible for a word to have more than one meaning.

Acts 2 v 38 The Salvation of The The Living God, to the Jewish people First by Apostle Peter on the day of Pentecost. Acts 2 v 47 The Church of The Living God. God gave The Salvation Message to Apostle Peter.
God didn't give the other Apostles other diff to preach. They All taught The Same.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

It is 100% clear that the church are those who keep the commandments of God and has faith in christ / testemony of jesus christ.

look at the duality here: Keeps the commandments AND has faith in Jesus christ.

The church keeps the commandments and have faith in Jesus that we are saved His grace.

Those who are dead who have keep the commandments of God and have faith will be resurrected and along with those alive who have keep the commandments and have faith will be caught up in the air to meet Jesus.

Those who are dead are not forgotten by Jesus

the first church was called "Bethel" meaning, "house of God, or God's house" which was set up by Jacob, it is recorded in Genesis 28:16-22, thousands of years before Christ Jesus was born on earth. "cathedral" is a contraction from two old latin words "ecclesia" and "aula" from about 1300 A.D., which literally means "assembly" and "castle", or a "church". Both the building is called the "temple of God", and also the Christian's body is called the "temple of God".

What is the church?

Romans 8:9b Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

And that may include at least a few Seventh Day Adventists as well as some that belong to the Roman Catholic faith as denominationalism is not a barrier to God's Spirit.

//Revelation 12:17 her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Your implication from the above 2 verses indicates that you believe one is NOT saved by grace but by obedience to laws.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."Eph. 2:8-10

The church therefore is composed of those who have accepted God's gift of salvation.
