My Faith Is Wavering

My faith is wavering. My faith n God for my personal life is wavering. I pray I ask I believe, and I get nothing but disappointments. I feel like God is ignoring me. I see prayers being answered for others, but never for me. Sometimes I think God is mad at me...IDK, I just feel alone. HELP!

CJ, I know how difficult growing In Christ can be. Being conformed to His image is a painful prosess beyond words. Actually we are being conformed to His death, SO THAT His Life resurrects in us.

That I may KNOW Him, and the fellowship of His sufferings, and the POWER of HIS RESURRECTION. Read that part in Philippians 3.

He's not mad at you at all. I believe He wants you to learn what His priority is for you.

Accept those disappointments and PRAISE God for all He is.

And re-visit Psalms 23. Not only re-visit, but hold it dear to your heart. Also Psalms 91

The size of faith is determined by its resting place. Faith that rests in yourself, the circumstance, or someone else can be no greater than that person's or circumstance's ability and willingness to do solve the problem. Faith in God, however, is great faith that does not waver because He is great and so very faithful.

It has always been taught to virtually every believer that they are "WORTHY" and spiritually/divinely sufficient because they claim Jesus as savior. GOD is the only one who can be GENUINELY "spiritual" (we humans can only perform MAN'S VERSION of "spirituality", 666....sixth day creation in the role of the 3 maifestations of God). Such excessive pride (VAIN pride, vanity) does not please God nor will He tarry with (entertain) our competition. It is only those who will GENUINELY humble themselves to HIM ONLY who will be able to have "eyes to see" His real truth. If you recognize your unworthiness, you will be depressed/poor in spirit.

Matthew 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit" in the RSV.

If we are truthful, I think that everyone can say that their faith has waivered at one time or the other. In my personal time of my faith being tested and strengthened (and I believe that is what is happening to you), I have found Romans 8v28 to be extremely helpful and encouraging to me.

We don't have to understand everything as Gods ways are much higher than ours but you just have to dig deep and hold on - as the tears will soon be over.

God bless you

Do you need to forgive someone? Holding an offense is the biggest hinderence to our prayers to God. 1 Peter 3:7, Matt 6 5-14, Matt 5 23.
Also by your statement "I see prayers being answered for others, but never for me." You are comparing for life (ups and downs) to someone's highlight reel (only the ups). This is a lie from Satan himself. God can never be mad at you he is crazy in love with you.

What are you praying for?

Can you tell us?

It's very easy to believe in God when you get all you want. But "In the name of Jesus!" is not supposed to be a magic charm to get God over a barrel and shake Him down for what you want.

Neither is the Bible a grimoire.

Christ is risen!

It is normal to question from time to time.

But, taking your post at face value, where do you stand with God?
- are you a believer, a follower or a disciple?
- how is the sin life doing? confessed and working on it?
- have you gone through discipleship?
- how is your Christian fellowship?
- solid church or edgey?
- are you in the Word regularly?
- what is your ministry?
- how about the nagging concept of supporting ministries?
- how are your family relationships?
- how is your personal relationship with yourself?

yeah a great deal in our lives can silence God's quiet voice, then we start to question.....

Hope that helps a bit. Read Hebrews 11 and think on the meaning of faith.

Nothing unusual here

Peoples' faith waver all the time

Best help I can give is to ask you to read an online bible study called IS THERE ANYTHING LEFT YOU CAN TRUST

This is gauranteed to restore your faith in God and his promises to you

"Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you."
Matthew 6:30-33

So, those who say they prayed and received the things of this world because of prayer, they are deceived.

If we are praying for things that are not in His will, we will be disappointed. God is not like Santa Claus, where we make a wish list and He fulfills it. We must pray for His will to happen in our life.

Dig into His Word, and seek His perfect will for your life.
