How To Reach Islamics In Love

There is quite a campaign to keep Islamic people out of the U.S. But a missionary minded person would love to go to a Sharia law country. Wouldn't having them come here be more efficient, so we can reach them here?

//no michael_e that filthy gospel you continue to preach is that Jews murdered Jesus.//
Take that"FILTHY GOSPEL, (your words) up with Peter, he said it.
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the HOUSE OF ISRAEL know assuredly, that God hath made the same JESUS, WHOM YOU CRUCIFIED, both Lord and Christ.37 Now when they(JEWS heard this,(THEY HAD KILLED THE MESSIAH) they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them,(THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL) Repent, and be baptized EVERY ONE OF YOU in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Our apostle said Christ died for us.

no michael_e that filthy gospel you continue to preach is that Jews murdered Jesus.

Should we now rename you Mel Gibson?

You have so taken the Word of God and distorted it. No, not you, you are just a muppet being used by Satan.
So pathetic really.
---kathr4453 on 10/22/12

Acts 1:7 he didn't tell them no, so when?
Rom 11:25.. UNTIL (time word)the fulness of the Gentiles be come in..

//Your filthy Gospel//

The"filthy gospel,(your words) revealed to Paul by the risen Christ followed by the boC apparently rejected by you.
And you dare accuse me of blasphemy?

1Cor 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand,2 By which also ye are saved,... 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins... 4 ... he was buried, and that he rose again the third day ..
---michael_e on 10/22/12

He said Acts 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power..
So you claim Jesus took that power and usurped authority over the Father and said...go ahead and preach the Kingdom?

So they preached on the Day of Pentecost and you also say the Holy Spirit too also usurped authority over the Father?

That's Blasphemy michael_e.

NO KINGDOM was begun in Acts 1 to whenever it was supposedly put on hold.

My ?. Could Jesus have died for your sin any other way? Since the OT prophesied of it. Isaiah 53. It seems like the gentiles hands were not clean either. It was gentiles who beat Him, and pierced his side, and nailed Him to the cross.
---kathr4453 on 10/22/12

Jews and Gentiles alike are guilty. Jesus came for the very purpose of being killed by his own people. Had he not, none of us would have a Savior. What happened was Gods design, according to Gods purpose, for the salvation of Jews and Gentiles alike, not for the purpose of starting two entirely different Gospels at the same time.

The Jewish and Roman leaders were acting as representatives of all humanity. We all needed the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Let's remember Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing (Luke 23:34)and that statement applies to the Jews just as much as it does to the Romans. The message of Christ is not one of blame or revenge, it is one of forgiveness and redemption.
---kathr4453 on 10/22/12

//Put on hold?//
Rom 11:25 .. blindness in part is happened to Israel, UNTIL the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

//John wrote Rev in 95ad//
The date is questionable, who John(Israel's apostle) writes to is not. Gal 2:9 Matt 19:28
Luke 22:30

//So you have the Kingdom being restored....how many// times?
Acts 1:8 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
Did Jesus say "It's not going to happen?

//Michael, didn't YOUR SIN KILL JESUS?//
Rom 5:8 .. while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us(boC)
Now a ? for you, did you kill the Christ or did he die for you???
---michael_e on 10/22/12

Now a ? for you, did you kill the Christ or did he die for you?
michael_e on 10/21/12

This the real HEART of your filthy gospel. You can't proclaim YOUR Gospel until you first make it clear the Jews murderd Jesus.

Your filthy Gospel is from Satan himself, and you are nothing more than a muppet in satan's hands.

The ONLY WAY any Kingdom could be restored in Acts 1 is if Christ Himself went up to heaven and made an immediate U-TURN back to earth.

There will be no Kingdom restored WITHOUT THE GLORIFIED KING RIGHT HERE!

Now if Jesus decided before the Jews murdered Him that He wanted to establish the Kingdom right then, believe me all the Gentile Kings and Gentiles would have murderd him too..

---kathr4453 on 10/22/12

Israel's earthly kingdom has been put on hold.
Now a ? for you, did you kill the Christ or did he die for you?
---michael_e on 10/21/12

Put on hold? Why would God start something and then put it on hold?
Where did God PUT ON HOLD the other Apostles? John wrote Rev in 95ad you say was put on hold? When did Paul write Colossians " Things to Come?"

So you have the Kingdom being restored....how many times?

Michael, didn't YOUR SIN KILL JESUS?

Are there two Jesus's? One that was murdered, and another who gave his life.

But wasn't your Gospel established on the very Jesus the Jews Murdered who rose again?
---kathr4453 on 10/22/12

//where is that Kingdom Peter preached in Acts 1 and 2. The restored Kingdom to Israel?//
Rom.11:25
Israel's earthly kingdom has been put on hold.
Now a ? for you, did you kill the Christ or did he die for you?
---michael_e on 10/21/12

You still didn't answer the question michael_e.....where is that Kingdom Peter preached in Acts 1 and 2. The restored Kingdom to Israel? We already know YOU believe there are two gospels. I asked you where THAT Kingdom is. Where are they, TODAY? What happened to them. Where is that Kingdom you say was being restored to Israel in Acts 1-2 and until Paul got saved.

You know when the disbursement originally took place don't you? The one promised to be restored? Right after Solomon's death. Jerusalem was the head of the Kingdom with temple intact.
---kathr4453 on 10/21/12

// What Kingdom is Peter preaching?//
Peter spoke to Israel only, one exception
Paul spoke to Gentiles and Jews.
Peter mentions the resurrection showing the Lord was alive and could still return to be Israel's King (Acts 3:19-21). Christ's death and resurrection, the sign of Jonah, stated as evidence.
Paul taught the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are essential parts of our gospel of grace.
Paul says Christ willingly gave his life for our sins (Gal 1:4).
Peter accuses Israel of murder.
Acts 2:36, 3:14-15, 5:30
Stephen, preached Peter's gospel,
Acts 7:52.. whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers..
Things that are different are not the same
---michael_e on 10/21/12

Actually Kathr is one of the very few that actually sticks up for the word of God and doesnt twist it. Her methods may be a bit harsh at times, but she definitely speaks the truth.

Its not as though she is the only one in these forums that lets her flesh get the best of her at times. I've seen it from everyone - myself included.

Perhaps when we respond to one anothers posts we should refrain from using words such as "Let me correct you". That is no way to start a friendly Christian debate.
---JackB on 10/21/12

Probably because most on this site believe Peter and Paul preached the same message.
Acts 2:36 ... whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Rom 5:8.While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
two completely different messages to two different peoples.
---michael_e on 10/20/12

By your own words you continue to state there are two different Gospels being preached at the same time. What Kingdom is Peter preaching?

Now you want to change your statement? You said "The Kingdom RESTORED to Israel"

The one Paul said "IS TO COME"? So it can't be here now correct?

Or are you preaching they taught a THIRD Kingdom?

OK so clarify yourself here michael_e.....
---kathr4453 on 10/21/12

michael_e #2

Now we know where the Church is today, however WHERE is "that kingdom" Peter preached on Pentecost. The one you say is NOT the Church. Where is it? Where are they now? WHO are they?

Tell us the names of some of these "today" who are not a part of the Body of Christ.

I would like to personally talk to one of these Jews who are disciples of Peter and the other Apostles ((not Paul) right NOW...

Give me the names of their denominations. Exactly WHERE is this Kingdom set up?

Shira, does MarkV REALLY need a fundimental dispensationalist KJV Bible thumper defending the complete oposite beliefs of Calvinism?

This is what makes you look like a flip flopper, like any crooked politician.

IF markV is a MAN, Shira, I believe he can defend himself.

MarkV does more nasty attacks to others here than anyone on line. And you are blinded to his behavior. That also makes you a hypocrite.

I didn't ask what your TALENTS were, I asked what SPIRITUAL GIFTS were you given by God to edify the Body. If you don't KNOW scripture, you can't be using any gift at all. Yet you curse God who gave me mine and taught me His Word?

They're listed in Ephesians 4. Defending false teachers is not listed!
---kathr4453 on 10/21/12

Kathr, you are going bananas.
First,
1. I am hispanic born in Texas, not Mexican.
2. I don't have a pink robe, would like to have one to support breast cancer.
3. My business is the Word of God, the Truth for the glory of God.
4. I have no pink boxer shorts, but would like to get them, again, for support of breast cancer. But only my wife would see them she would not agree.
5. I do have a daughter name Lisa.
6. If I act like a woman to you it must be because you have no understanding. The Spirit brings understanding.
7. I will support what you say when you tell the Truth, I will not compromise the Truth for a lie just to please you and make you happy. I am not here to make you happy.

God also gave me the ability to talk to anyone about anything. I have other gifts too but I have found that I should never disagree with you and then we wouldn't have this problem. actually I don't have a problem but when you attack others like markv, I feel compelled to defend him or anyone else you attack here.

MarkV, the only one twisting and jumping around here is you, the Mexican Jumping bean.

You always need to JUMP IN like some silly little Gossiping woman running from house to house in your PINK Bathrobe and curlers in your hair.

Your a busy body markv. Always stirring up trouble, minding others business.

Please change your pink panties and put on MENS underwear and act like a man...that is if you really are one. Or are you really LISA.

Personality of a drama "QUEEN"

Attention-seeking is particularly noticeable with females. QUEENS commonly exploit the suffering of others to gain attention for themselves.

THE QUEEN will deliberately cause suffering to others as a means of gaining attention.

The QUEEN, usually female, creates opportunities to be centre of attention by being soomeone's savior. She's the one who will dash in and "rescue" people whenever the moment is opportune - to herself, that is. She then gains gratification from basking in the glory of her humanitarian actions.
---kathr4453 on 10/20/12

Sis. Shira, I know exactly how you feel. She finds ways to twist the word of God, make statements of things you never said, if she knows history of your family, she attacks that area. Once you disagree with her, she never lets go. What's also funny is that others follower her to join in the hunt, those who you might have disagreed with before. "One thing you have to be careful of, is that she doesn't draw you to sin." That happens alot when we disageed with some. I love the way sister Darline respond's, she uses correct words to disagree, so does Elena and many others. I confess I've been drawn to sin because of Kathr, but I've been very careful for a long time. First the Truth, for nothing else matters more. Peace I leave you,
---Mark_V. on 10/20/12

Shira, you just KEEP doing it. And you can't even see what YOU are doing.

I have stood up for you many times, where you come back at me with horrible remarks and attitudes, making it personal, rather then defending Scripture.

USE YOUR OWN GIFT and stop judging the one God gave to me.

Exactly what is your GIFT Shira? There is no GIFT in the Body that JUDGES anothers Gift.

I may , in the flesh, think James is cold and booring and judgemental, however James teaches TRUTH and that is all that matters.

My personal fleshly feelings are just that. BUT, IN THE SPIRIT, James is WONDERFUL, because James teaches truth.

Shira, So, what you are saying here is you see that I was not saying what your first accused me of correct? But instead of acknowledging that I in fact stated one must be convicted of the Holy Spirit FIRST before salvation, you pride would rather attack me again?

Do you know how that makes you look to others.

Take the log out of your own eye first Shira...You might see things a little differently if you did!

---shira4368 on 10/19/12

Absolutely correct Shira, salvation is not possible without first being convicted of the Holy Spirit. Totally 100% agree.

What I was arguing was, some here believe they are saved first and THEN convicted of the Holy Spirit.

I believe all the scriptures I posted are in agreement with you Shira, that conviction comes FIRST
Repentance SECOND
that leads to THIRD, Salvation.

Not in the reverse order.

If you weren't so blinded with hatred toward me, you would see that is EXACTLY what I was saying.

Gal5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

You have to have the tree first to have the fruit.

---trey on 10/18/12

Yes and Paul tells us you have to submit to the CROSS first before you have any fruit.

He then states in those very next verses:

Those who are Christ HAVE crucified the flesh.

The FRUIT comes out of the NEW MAN not the old.

But that has to do with our life AFTER we are saved, and is the result of our New Life In Christ.
---kathr4453 on 10/18/12

Brother Trey, thank you very much for responding. Come on forward and speak the Truth against this heresies being taught by Kathr. Bring it on. The Holy Spirit will not convict her so she can get angry, she is always angry, which would be ok, but she brings heresies with her anger. She cannot blame the Holy Spirit for that.

Ephesians Chapter 1. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, ---.

Now, he says, having believed, indicating their response to this gospel, they were THEN sealed by the Holy Spirit. Regeneration is not possible without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the new believers heart. Here it is clear that belief in this word of truth, which is the gospel of salvation, must be believed in order to live. God does not make us alive so that we can believe. It appears that this passage of Scripture settles that argument.
---kathr4453 on 10/18/12

MarkV Read Acts 7 . Stephen spoke to these people in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Even when Jesus was on earth and spoke, He spoke in the Power of the Holy Spirit. and not all who heard Him, believed. This is what is the unforgivable sin. That the Holy Spirit testifies of Jesus Christ. The Spirit of GRACE!

Those who reject TRUTH, ( not your truth MarkV) as well as Those who hold down the TRUTH in unrighteousness, (Romans 1 & 2) bring judgement upon THEMSELVES.

No one is FIRST saved so that one can believe. If your are already saved, it is not necesary to BELIEVE or have faith in God's Word AKA Believe.

There is NO SCRIPTURE ever making such a false statement as you. But many saying the opposite of you.
---kathr4453 on 10/18/12

I really believe if MarkV were saved, he would know that all Christians are filled with the Holy Spirit and part of our responsibility here on earth as Jesus Body is to TESTIFY of Jesus death and resurrection, Preaching the Gospel of Grace to the LOST.

He would also have experienced that not everyone reacts to the Gospel the same. Some will in fact be convicted of sin, and believe and put their faith in the finished works of Christ for their salvation, and others will persecute you and may even kill you....just like they did Jesus.

Even Paul and Peter died bringing the Gospel of Salvation to others.
---kathr4453 on 10/18/12

Kathr, again you turn the truth to a lie with your statements. You say,
"You can read in Acts that the Conviction of the Holy Spirit also caused many to murder Stephen."
You are blaming the Holy Spirit for the murder of Stephen who was full of the Holy Spirit. You blaspheme the Holy Spirit again by accusing Him of murder. Here is what the passage says,
"When they heard these things they were cut to the heart and they gnashed at him with their teeth" Hearing the truth that Stephen talked about, killing those who foretold the coming of the Just One angered them. The Holy Spirit did not convict their hearts of sin and cause them to murder Stephen. What a bunch of garbage.

37 Now when they "heard" this, THEN they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, "what shall we do"?

38 Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 5:9
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

sorry shira, no one is SAVED by the conviction of the Holy Spirit. It's true one must FIRST be convicted of the Holy Spirit that we are sinners in need of the ONLY ONE WHO SAVES, that is Jesus Christ.

You can read in Acts that the Conviction of the Holy Spirit also caused many to murder Stephen. It's the Word of God and truth through the Holy Spirit that bring conviction. But conviction does not always bring repentance to salvation.
---kathr4453 on 10/18/12

EXAMPLE of conviction of Sin FIRST that leads to repentance that brings salvation

Acts 2:36-38
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

EXAMPLE of the conviction of the Holy Spirit that did not lead to salvation:

Acts 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One, of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

Kathr, you twist the truth to a lie.

"MarkV, we are not saved by truth. We are not saved because the Holy Spirit draws you, we are saved SOLELY on the finished works of JESUS"

We are saved by Grace through faith. In order to argue with me, you commit the unpardonable sin. You blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
For those who know His claims are true and reject Him anyway sin against the Holy Spirit because it is the "Holy Spirit who testifies of Christ and makes His Truth known to us" (John 15:26: 16:14,15:) Without the Holy Spirit you will never know the Truth, who is Christ. A man is not saved because he believes in Christ, he believes in Christ because he is saved.
---Mark_V. on 10/18/12

markv, you are right to say we are saved thru conviction of the Holy Spirit. I know you are saved just by reading your post. there is always someone who knows everything about everything. I even have one in my family. they are always a turn off. Keep posting the truth markv.
---shira4368 on 10/17/12

Is that what John 6 really says. or does it say, THOSE who are taught come to God.

MarkV, we are not saved by truth. We are not saved because the Holy Spirit draws you, we are saved SOLELY on the finished works of JESUS CHRIST.

Salvation is not about YOU, it's about Jesus Christ and what He did. If you keep bypassing that FACT, you are not saved MarkV. Satan can turn himself into an angel of light and preacher of righteousness and satan can immitate the Holy Spirit.

If the REAL Holy Spirit has not pointed you to Jesus Christ and HIS death and resurrection...YOU ARE NOT SAVED.

And if you really did have the indwelling of the REAL Holy Spirit, you would KNOW that.

Concerning John 6:45
MarkV, maybe you will listen to BARNES on this verse.

In the prophets - Isaiah 54:13. A similar sentiment is found in Micah 4:1-4, and Jeremiah 31:34, but by the prophets, here, is meant the book of the prophets, and it is probable that Jesus had reference only to the place in Isaiah, as this was the usual way of quoting the prophets.

Shall be all taught of God - This explains the preceding verse. It is by the teaching of his Word and Spirit that men are drawn to God. This shows that it is not compulsory, and that there is no obstacle in the way but a strong voluntary ignorance and unwillingness.

I totally agree with Barnes here!

Kathr, you proved nothing with Psa. 85:9.10). Only that salvation is near to those who fear Him. Only those who renounce their sinful autonomy and put their complete trust in the living God will participate in the blessings of salvation and the future kingdom (John 3:3-5). The Holy Spirit, who is God, leads us into all Truth by giving us that understanding of the Truth which we ourselves are not able to arrive at (Act 8:31). Without God's mercy, you arrive at nothing. That's why the promise,
"They shall all be taught of God" (John 6:45) is given after Jesus said,
"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him.." And those drawn, will be taught of God.
Remember, the Holy Spirit is God.
---Mark_V. on 10/17/12

MarkV, again you completely bypass the Cross. If you say God can have Mercy aka salvation and it not be part of the Blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, then you are saying you were saved by God's Grace having nothing to do with Jesus death and resurrection.

I'm sorry to have to correct you, but you are terribly wrong.

Psalm 85:9-10

9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

10 Mercy and truth are met together, righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Willie, the way I see it is, if we have them here, they will recruit more to Islam, then their hearts will really be hardened. If we as believers try to recruit them where they live, believers will suffer a lot of casulties. It really doesn't matter one way or another, other then if there, there will be more casulties, because only those that God chose from the foundation of the world will be called, and will be saved. The "Mercy Seat" is where God shows Mercy. Who today sits on the Mercy Seat in Heaven? Yes, Jesus Christ. God has indeed shown MERCY through Jesus Christ.

Come BOLDLY to the throne of Grace and MERCY. Jesus Blood has opened the way for anyone to come to the MERCY seat.

God does not bestow MERCY apart from the Blood of Jesus Christ.

God's Mercy was shown to Israel through the PASSOVER ...when I see the BLOOD, I will pass over you.

God's MERCY passed over Rahab and her family because a SCARLET thread was placed in the window. That scarlet thread represented BLOOD.

Acts 11:17-19

17 Forasmuch then as God gave them( GENTILES) the like gift as he did unto us(JEWS), who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, what was I, that I could withstand God?

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Praise God ALL Gentiles are GRANTED repentance unto Life.

But remember too, we both Jew and Gentile (Philippians 1:28-30) have also been granted the PRIVLEDGE to SUFFER, for Christ, With Christ.

I didn't know we were trying to keep them out. They seem to be flocking over here. They are here. Will they listen?
---pat on 10/15/12

Part 2: While millions do confess with their mouths, but really have no true faith that is granted by God. They later fall back. They know the Truth but will not believe the Truth by faith. While others who had true faith granted by God they,
"For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Rom. 10:10) Faith comes first.

"For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in Him but also suffer for His sake" (Phil. 1:29). It is by the will of God not the will of man.

"So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, "but of God who shows Mercy" (Rom. 9:16).

If you want to go to a Sharia law country, be prepared to end up like the U.S. embassadors to Egypt and Lybia. Love isn't something they know or understand.

The sinners prayer cannot be destructive to the Lost who have no faith. How can it be destructive to those who are already lost? Can they be more condemned then they already are?
The verses in (Romans 10:9) are meant for those who already believe in their hearts and want to confess with their mouth. Of course, those confessing who do not believe will not be saved.
When the Spirit brings someone to spiritual life (Eph. 2:4-6), they receive faith as a gift of that spiritual birth, and those who receive it will make a true confession, and only those will be saved.
"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, "and believe in your heart" that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Wow,Trish this is ELENA just up tonight, slept all yesterday saw your post bout you friends in France minister to the North Africa muslims. May the lord richly, bless your friends / taking on as in the primitive church ,Paul in the bible. God bless them! thankyou for shareing.will keep them in prayer. Love of JESUS
---ELENA on 10/15/12

Shira, the Muslims are coming to Christ, in a lot of ways. The community where my friends live in France is heavily populated by North African Muslims. They are heavily involved in developing friendships with their Muslim neighbors. The wife has a counseling ministry to women. The husband is responsible for curriculum development for the Radio School of the Bible, which broadcasts into a lot of the North African communities. He then travels into those countries ministering to the converts, training up leaders to start churches. It is dangerous, but they are seeing changed lives. They've held baptisms in North Africa and at their church in Southern France. Again, the Muslims living in Southern France travel back to North Africa often.
---Trish on 10/13/12

trish, I admire you for doing what you have done to further the gospel. I just watch too much news and documentaries to believe muslims can't be helped..maybe a stragler will come along but as far as I can see, they are fanatics and will die for alla...they have died sept 11 and many more have died because they want all the virgins but in reality they are in hell. I do pray for all people to be saved...I would love to see muslims saved for the glory of God.

Shira: It is not impossible to reach the Muslims for Christ. Yes, it is dangerous to do so in the Arab countries. Yet, my friends have been doing just that since 1983. They have lived in Algeria and Tunisia, and now Southern France. Still they often make trips to other countries in North Africa for short visits to encourage the believers there.

Years ago, I took a summer missions trip to a port city in Spain to hand out New Testaments and the Jesus video to Moroccans as they traveled home on the ferry across the Mediterranean. This project continues every summer in several European port cities, getting God's Word into the closed North African countries.

willie, I hate to tell you but islam is the hardest to reach. I doubt if you can or I can. maybe if you try, you will get your head cut off. I can pray for them and I do pray for them to be saved. please be aware they are trying to conquer the world as hitler said he would do. if you don't believe me, check into how many mosque has been built in the U.S. also they are working very hard to get shirea law in place in our free country. we all need to wise up and see what is happening here.
---shira4368 on 10/12/12

the sinners prayer is sending some to hell because they don't know any difference..but my husband signed a bible the first year he was in the U.S.A.F. and he honestly thought it kept him out of hell. a military chaplain told him that and he believed it. 48 years later he was saved. Now he is not in hell but in heaven and I know he is happy.
---shira4368 on 10/12/12

Elena,

good stuff. You're right tha a sinner's prayer is not taught in the bible. It is the most destructive teaching to ever surface in the church.

Destructive because it takes absolutely no understanding of the gospel at all.

I said a "sinner's prayer" hundreds of times before I ever heard that Jesus Christ died to pay a debt for me.

That prayer was nothing more than part of a ritual that I thought was part of my effort to make myself acceptable to God.

Very destructive teaching

Bro. james, this is ELENA. You hit the nail on the head with that one ..years ago,I say in church listen to a pastor talk and then called various ones and the music and all that and told them just repeat the sinners prayer.
IT. never left My mind that not In the bible.among other such thought
along same line.

When my daughter was 15, she spent a summer in Tunisia. She stayed with a missionary family who are close friends of ours, serving as a nanny to their very young children while the couple studied Arabic at the university. Women from our church made her long skirts to wear. The couple protected her. That was 20 years ago. The trip changed her life dramatically.

The recent unrest there makes me praise God that she had a safe trip, with no danger, per se.

The family still ministers to Muslims, in France, running a radio Bible school. They still travel in and out of North Africa though.
---Trish on 9/25/12

I admire those who are brave enough to minister to the Islamics, I am so scared of them, it's not funny! I can't see a woman wearing a veil over her head or face without getting chills at her super-submissive lifestyle, among other things.
---Mary on 9/25/12

I don't believe that a missionary minded person would necessarily love to go to the Middle East

I have been missions minded ever since becoming a believer, and would have ZERO desire to leave the United States at all - even for a vacation.

I have said many times that before the church gets all revved up about outreach, we need to get on with some INreach.

The church is totally infected with a false message - unbiblical promise, attained in an unbiblical manner.

As long as the church keeps promising a "changed life" through a sinner's prayer

instead of

eternal life through faith in Christ

then why waste the money on all the plane tickets?

what campaign is there to keep Islamic people out of the US?

sounds like something the false missionaries made up so they could continue to pretend they are doing works.

Look up Fr. Zakaria Boutros (I think that's how it's spelled).

He's a Coptic Orthodox priest with a $26,000,000 price on his head for converting too many mahometans to Christ.

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Efforts are being made to reach the Muslim world. Most of it is by short wave radio, TV, and internet

My advise is to contribute to a ministry which is active in reaching Muslims
---francis on 9/23/12

Wherever Muslim communities develop in western countries freedom of speech/rights are diminished. The UK is one of the best examples.

In Australia we also have loss of free speech/rights. A Pakistani pastor was charged in court for violating religious vilification laws as some Muslims felt offended by his sermon on what Islam teaches.
Yet Muslims here continue to denigrate our identity/culture and condemn other religions.

Maybe there's not enough of us out there sharing the gospel to influence our countries for the better, in Christ.
If enough Muslim's were converting to Christ then their countries would not let them come here. Instead mosques, Muslim schools, etc are financed to ensure Muslims do not convert.

I know two missionaries whose ministries are to reach foreign students here who plan to return to their home countries. I get prayer letters regularly from one such missionary with Campus Crusade who ministers at Penn State. The other's ministry is in New York City. The one in New York offers English language classes to these people, and relationships develop. The one at Penn State has other foreign students who became believers develop friendships with these students. They also offer social activities where the students can experience American culture. At the social gatherings, like monthly dinners, the Gospel is always presented.

These missionaries reach people of all religions, especially those from closed countries.
---Trish on 9/22/12

Preaching the gospel is showing love to anyone even the Islams because it has the power to save. The Holy Spirit overshadows the message of Christ Crucified and convicts sinners. (Romans 1:16, 1 Corinthians 2:2). It would be suicide to give the Islams their way in this country. Christianity is that God came down to earth and gave His life to save us but the religion of Islam is a religion of murder to those who will not submit to find their salvation which is no salvation at all.
---Patricia on 9/22/12

willie_c:, you are very naive.

Muslims have a lot of things to unlearn about Jesus, first.

They do NOT believe He is God Incarnate. (Alas, too many confessing Christians deny this, too.)

They do not believe He died on the Cross.

Therefore, they don't have to believe He rose from the dead.

Their Coran tells them these things.

Glory to Jesus Christ!
