Have there ever been incidents of today and yesterday, past the Bible Times, where the LORD has taken people to Heaven and back, to Hell and back or even to both places and back? If so, for what purpose?

e.lee, Yes, and Bill Wiese's experience helps bring the Scriptures' description of Hell to life! It puts what the Scriptures say of Hell into a more relative light, so-to-speak. Praise GOD for HIS Grace, too, that HE would provide this Testimony for us.

A good testimony of one that has been brought to hell and back was given by a Bill Wiese who wrote a small book entitled "23 Questions About Hell". The book comes with a well developed video and the book is very extensively documented with Scripture.
I plan to send the book to a Mormon relative whom I have been debating with for the past couple of years.

Thank you jerry6593!
Seems true to me, on so many levels!
The lowest level of the ocean to which light can reach
But I think christan is the one, who always finds the right words.
I believe people have visions all the time.
Once I was in my room, next thing I know, Im standing in a field of grass.
Blue sky above me, really, really felt as if I has died and gone to heaven.
But never once did I believe I when to heaven and came back!
I believe they are just that, visions!
Last one I had we were all standing around a city.
The city was burning with a strange fire.
I've seen it before!
Talk about the Twilight Zone!

In dreams. In a dream I sunk through the ground and fast approached the lake of fire. Every corpusal in my body heated up and I called out to the Lord. I never dreamed of hell until I married. My wife on the other hand had a dream of heaven.

Mr. Seg: I suspected that you were from the Twilight Zone!
Francis: The examples you gave were visions given by God to His prophets for the edification of His people. They were not physical trips to heaven. I know that you knew that, but I thought that others might not.

"And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot, neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
For I have five brethren, that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets, let them hear them.
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead."

If God wants.
He has wanted, in the cases shared by Francis.
And Paul says to be an imitator of him > 1 Corinthians 11:1. "Oh, but then, if you are going to imitate Paul like that, also you have to imitate him by doing all the miracles he did." He was doing what God wanted (c: Also, he does not directly say he was the one caught up to the third heaven.
God is not limited by what we are able to think and believe, now, before we mature much more.
In His love, "in our hearts", we are already in Heaven's own love (Romans 5:5). So, why go back, from Heaven's own love? Why not stay?! (c:

No. When people die they're in the graves until the resurrection Now God can give a glimpse on what heaven can look like, but until the resurrection & judgement no one goes to Heaven & the wicked arent destroyed yet.

2 Corinthians 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell, or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth,) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door [was] opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard [was] as it were of a trumpet talking with me, which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Revelation 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and [one] sat on the throne.
Isaiah 6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas, you've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone.
