Is Morning After Pill Murder

I know abortion is a sin. It is murder. But is taking a morning after pill also murder, as it doesn't allow the embryo(baby)to implant on the uterus?

\\They don't need to depend upon God to make them well.\\

And this has a deleterious effect on God's eternal and therefore immutable nature just how?

That's the question you're not answering.

Man has developed many wonder things: computers, tv, radio, internet, cars, ships, planes, desalination plants, commerce, medicines/pharmaceuticals (they have a pill for practically everything), etc.

Man has also the ability to create viruses and bombs that are able to destroy the entire world within minutes.

Christians have been conned to believe that man/science can cure practically any illness or disease. They don't need to depend upon God to make them well. All they need to do is go down to the nearest pharmacy to get man's miracle pill.

I sure hope you are joking. Being highly educated as you claim you are, then you should know.

Apparently you have no idea yourself, so let me paraphrase my question.

Since God's nature is infinite, how does mere finite man interfere with it?

Please explain.

\\Judy the difference between a birth control pill and a morning after pill is that the birth control pill prevents the sperm fertilizing the egg. \\

This is not true, though there is a big myth about this.

I checked with both my physician and my pharmacist.

NO birth control pill either stops ovulation or prevents the sperm from meeting the egg.

Instead, it sets up a chemical/hormonal situation in the female that prevents implantation of the zygote.

In other words, the pill is abortifacient.

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Any life that is terminated on the earth by any means before it has a change to be on the earth. As it was to be on the earth by God. That child is sin free and in heaven. So you believers don't be shocked. Those child will be in heaven. Ask God for forgiveness of what you have done. Not the terminating a life but all the things you refuse of God to get to that piont in your life. That you would have disbelief to stop a life. God hates hands that shead innocent blood. Jesus said evil would come into this life but wo to the hands that bring it.

Judy the difference between a birth control pill and a morning after pill is that the birth control pill prevents the sperm fertilizing the egg. The morning after pill is taken to get rid of a fertilized egg (just in case fertilization has taken place).

Some girls don't take precautions to prevent becoming pregnant but then worry that they might be pregnant and so go to the chemist for the morning after pill.

Many others worry that this will lead to more promiscuity than we already have.

The answer is no...
---ron_maynard on 5/5/14

okay, I am thinking morning after pill is bad now. possibly causing unknown abortion. What about just taking birth control pills in general? either for prevention of pregnancy or to regulate periods? would this work the same way and cause a miscarriage? is this also murder? or just morning after pill?
---judy on 5/3/14

What is the purpose for taking that pill? If your not a believer in Christ Jesus what is the diffecence? If your a Christian and you take the pill your just saying you don't believe that part of the word of God. Mark 4 is very clean about the word in what some will do with it and how much of it they will believe. Not knowing it is the only thing producing in their life. Judgment is build in the word and so is life how you use it is how it will produces. That is how powerful the word of God really is.

Blogger, I think you mean Gen 2:7 rather than 3:7...

Blogger - you are reading something into Gen 3:7 which is not there.

LEON: A little fact concerning the beginning of life. (Here is a little background to document what I write. My wife and I started a medical-education mission in 1970,which included teaching childbirth class-my wife is an RN-C, a CNM,and a CES. All her certifications are in childbirth.) Now to the point. Life begins when the female egg is fertilized and this takes place in upper third of the fallopian tube. On it's way the the uterus the egg starts to divide, and the heart beat starts at least by the 28th day after fertilization.

You are very confused Blogger. The whole of what you say lacks credibility & is "devoid" (empty) of truth.

Steveng on 4/14/14 Yes, incubate until some things can be done on its own.
Read your post and recalled that as a brand new mom, an older mom told me how having a newborn was much like being very pregnant, but just like wearing the baby on the outside instead of the inside. I found wearable baby carriers or pouches great tools. You can do so much while the infant is close, warm, and comfortable. Natural motions would rock the baby to sleep. Nursing babies feed more frequently than formula fed, and it often seems like there is little time for anything else but. They sleep, eat, sleep eat, a nearly continuous cycle. Some of that sleep btw is not deep sleep. Point being, life a continuum. Baby not completely autonomous.

What are the women's thoughts? Why is the woman taking the morning after pill? What are her thoughts the reason she takes the pill? does it boil down to selfishness. She doesn't want a child because it would disrupt her social life?

Life begins when the sperm enters the egg. The soon-to-be mother incubates the fetus until it can do things on its own. The mother acts like life support until the child can do things on its own.

You wouldn't disconnect an adult from life support machines knowing full well that the person will get back to normal in a few months, would you?

While taking the morning after pill would not legally be called murder, since a person can't be tried in the present court system as having committed a murder, but it is ending a HUMAN LIFE FORM, which as you pointed out, is a sin.

("Human Life Form" because the fertilized egg has already started to divide as it travels towards the uterus.)
---wivv on 4/14/14

Yes taking a morning after pill is murder. If a person thinks they are mature enough to do what will make them pregnant then they should be mature enough to do what it takes to prevent it.It isn't the baby's fault you were careless why punish the poor little helpless thing?
---Darlene_1 on 4/14/14

To abort means to halt, stop, prevent. This is what the morning after pill is designed to do.

Life is a continuum, passing from male to female & reproducing into another human being. If the baby (living embryo) isn't allowed to implant on the uterus the baby has been effectively murdered.

Yes, taking the morning after pill is murder!

Hey, why dont ya go to Nevada and kill a turtle or crack a Bald Eagle egg and see what happens to ya...
And may God help you if you disturb a Red Headed Woodpecker.

Please realize my comment is not directed at anyone posting here.

I am just pointing out how totally foolish government and laws can become in a sin sick society.

Our citizens murder babies and then whine about equal rights...

God is kicked outta schools and the military but thugs and enemy soldiers stay in and practice murdering more innocent people.

Then we say vote for this guy he'll give ya a free phone or legal status.

It is treading the finest line a person can ever tread. I, personally, think that it comes in the same category as abortion except that the female taking it will not actually know whether she conceived or not.

More money should be spent on teaching morals, taking safer precautions and less on telling school kids that everything (which God says is immoral) is actually just fine (because it is their choice to be immoral if they choose).

We live in a sick, depraved world.

Yes any birth contraptive can lead up to murder. the only way it isnt is natural planning. this way isnt because though its planning, it still gives the womans body time to heal, & no side effects. Birthcontrol pills can have side effects besides stopping pregnancies to occur that can be bad to the body or in rare cases kill the woman. better to avoid them.
Let God be in charge. he can open & close the womb at his timing.
