What Peter was building again was the LAW and how the LAW divided Jews from Gentiles, and that showed by Peter refusing to eat with Gentiles when the concision was there. Peter was showing a hypocritical side of himself, and Paul had every reason to confront him. Before the concision showed up, Peter was fine with eating and fellowshiping with Gentiles, and knew by his experience with Cornelius that Gentiles were NOT in submission to the Jews or the Law. What Peter did, Paul said went against the preaching of the Cross, where Jew and Gentile were one new man, both in submission to Christ equally. This is what the whole of Galatians is about AS Paul ends the BOOK OF GALATIANS SAYING, nothing matters BUT THE NEW CREATURE.

Just within the last 50 years, there have been many people (entertainers, heads of state, politicians, religious fanatics, preachers, educators, etc.) who've all wagged their tongues at God & paid the dire consequences by their own horrid destruction. Such is the plight of folk who would dare think they can get away with mocking God.

"Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life."

"No genuine Christian, who is moved by the Spirit ever sows dirt."
Luke on 9/2/14

"What I did say was that believers don't always walk in the Spirit."
Luke on 8/28/14 (Many Different Approaches, Christianet Blog)

Paul said, "Galatians 5:16 "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."

Every time you are not walking in the Spirit, you are fulfilling the lust of the flesh and sowing dirt.
---Nana on 9/2/14

No disciple of Jesus sowed dirt. Not one. In fact most of them died horrible deaths for preaching the gospel.
No genuine Christian, who is moved by the Spirit ever sows dirt. If they are sowing dirt, they are not genuine Christians guided by the Spirit. It is as simple as that. Many Christians do make mistakes in giving the gospel, that is understandable because all humans fail in life. No one has been perfected yet.
---Luke on 9/2/14

Paul advices:
"We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain."
"Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed..."

Galatian 2:11 "But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed."

Galatians 2:14 "But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel..."

Peter was building again 'the things which he destroyed', 'the old man'. He sowed dirt to the flesh.

But you know about bringing blame to the ministry, don't you?

//Luke 11:34_35 "The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light, but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness."//

Of course that message is for believers. They are warnings that God gives believers. The whole New T. is full of them.

//Galatians 2:11_14, Peter was sowing dirt and Paul "withstood him to the face".//
Peter was told by Paul that he was compelling the Gentiles to live as Jews. Peter was not preaching the gospel to the Gentiles, he was eating with them. All that tells us is, that no one is immune from making mistakes. Don't you?
---Luke on 8/31/14

Luke 11:28_29 "But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign, and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet."

Jesus spoke those words above to the multitude , and these:

Luke 11:34_35 "The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light, but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness."

Galatians 2:11_14, Peter was sowing dirt and Paul "withstood him to the face".

on the blog "will he punish me" which closed I had agreed with what you had said, and don't know why you kept on and on suggesting I was against the reformers. I believe I wrote it clear enough for anyone with some light in them could see. You had said,

"//"No one can receive Christ as his Saviour while he rejects Him as Lord.//
And I had said,

"There is no such believer who rejects Christ as Lord. If he rejects Christ he is not a believer period.
Do you not see I was agreeing with you?
You said "no one" and what did I say? "there is no such believer" --Get it?
---Luke on 8/30/14

//How many times our Lord said, "take heed"? Why?
Those who do not "take heed" will sow dirt.//

In Luke, Jesus was speaking to the disciples, warning them. The disciples were the first who went out and preached the gospel of Christ. They did not sow dirt.
In fact the whole New Testament is about warnings to believers. But no genuine believe will ever sow dirt. Only those who are imposters will sow dirt, and those are those who believe salvation is by works. There is no truth in them.
---Luke on 8/29/14

Luke 11:35 "Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness."

How many times our Lord said, "take heed"? Why?

Luke 11:35 "Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness."

1 Corinthians 8:9 "But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak."

1 Corinthians 10:12 "Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall."

Galatians 5:15 "But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another."

Those who do not "take heed" will sow dirt.
---Nana on 8/28/14

//Why would we, wish to sow as the world would sow?//

Who are those believers in Christ you are speaking about every time you mention that passage? It seems to me you believe genuine believers are sowing dirt, or trash. Who are this genuine believers you talk about all the time? Can you give us a clue?
What you are suggesting is that those who are influence and taught by the Holy Spirit are sowing trash everywhere they go. Who are those? Agape
---Luke on 8/27/14

The word mockes the mockers. It produce in their life. How they sow it. Even born again believers who mock. It is not a respecter of person. It is very clear on this piont Gal: 6:7 is not just for unbelievers. It said what ever "YOU" kind of covers all of us. Cause everybody is a you. So do you see the advanage we as believers have we share the Gospel, we reap it. Why would we, wish to sow as the world would sow?
---Bryan on 8/26/14

"The lord mocks the mockers but is gracious to the humble. The wise inherit honor, but fools are put to shame!"
Proverbs 3:34-35 NLT
---Leon on 8/19/14

God is not doing evil to us. He has given us the very thing he use to create all things with. His word. "Jesus" How you sow his him is how it he will produce in your life. He is letting us know Jesus "word" has the power to create life or destory it. And it does it according to how we sow it. A lot of believers use the word to judge and condemn with and they wounder why their life is so hard. See God is not mocked "what ever" a person sows that is what they will reap.

"Please explain Josef. What does Scripture say?"
Leon "Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap....." KJV Gal 6,7
"Dont be misled you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit." NLT
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction, whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." NIV

The New Testament give more insight then the Old.

Hebrews 1:4-6

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him

JESUS made all things. Ephesian 3:9 Revelations 4:11

He is to be worshipped. He was not created but is one with the Father. So we too are to Worship JESUS our GOD.
---Samuelbb7 on 8/15/14

Leon, The KJV at Psl.110.1 put one lord in capitals the second in lower case for a reason.
Two different Lords are represented here.
Almighty God (LORD) and His Son Jesus (Lord) who sits at the right hand of the Father !
Jesus Himself said "The Father is greater than I "
Point being, the word Lord does not define "who"
---1stcliff on 8/14/14

The end of people who mock God (if they do not repent very quickly) is always disastrous.
---Adetunji on 8/14/14

1Cliff, I know you do not believe this but (Psalm 110:1-7) contains one of the most exalted prophetic portions of Scripture, presenting Jesus Christ as both a holy King and a Royal High Priest-something that no human monarch of Israel experienced it, along with Psalm 118, is by far the most quoted psalm in the N.T. (Matt. 22:44:26:64: Mark 12:36: Luke 29:42,43)
Psalm 110 the word Lord is used for the Father and the Son, but with the Son is mention also as Lord because He is Holy King, and Royal High Priest.

Leon, **The Lord is my light and my salvation...**
It all depends on who you interpret as "The Lord"
Psl.110 1 shows 2 Lords , one LORD (YHVH) and Lord (Adonai).
Lord simply means "master" in English!
"Lord"is a human title in English and it doesn't mean "God"
---1stcliff on 8/13/14

Obviously you JEST Cliff. I know you think you're a clever fella, but be careful you don't fool yourself.

"The Lord is my light and my salvation ~ whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life ~ of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked advance against me to devour me [eat of my flesh], it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall..."
Psalm 27:1-2, NIV
---Leon on 8/13/14

Leon, I was going to say "maybe you can tell us from experience" but that wouldn't be very Christ like" so I will withdraw that.
but the temptation was there !from my funny side !(but that's not really all that funny))
