Are you Cluny? Or the one that took Cluny's former name? Can see him wanting to be Dirk Dangerous. No wonder he didn't want to expose it, it's top secret. He just doesn't come across as the James Bond type. He's incognito with his third name...just trying to establish which door he's behind. Door number 1, 2, 3,...4?

Sorry about all the typo errors with the Isaiah verses. I am terrible thus far with my 'smart phone'.
---Nana on 1/13/15

I'll never mention yours if you never mention mine. I'll never mention yours even if you do mention mine. It just doesn't bother me. We all fat finger or mindslide. All.
I'm not here to grade just to be degraded. Ha.

Trav, my wife used to go by "Mima", like her mother before her. I wanted to use 'Mima' when I started blogging here but there was another fellow going by that.

Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
---Nana on 1/12/15

Good reading Nana. Never stopped/considered on 57:1 before.
Looking yours I went back one chapter. A couple I perceive today.
Isa 56:10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark, sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
Isa 56:11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

(My wife is "Nana" too with Grandkids)

Lk 11:13 God injects His Spirit into chosen humans causing them to obey - Eze 36:27. a type of "puppeteering", a steering of a person like a sled dog...
---aservant on 1/9/15

...like this below.
Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their mind, write them in their hearts: I will be to them a God, they shall be to me a people:

Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, a new spirit will I put within you: I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

God caused it you say? I see it coming from the written, promised blessings given a Christian nation/people and in written heart verses.
---Trav on 1/9/15

Mankind is intrinsically evil -- born a sinner -- heart is desperately wicked -- don't have to teach little babies to be evil and selfish, etc - Lk 11:13 God injects His Spirit into chosen humans causing them to obey Him - Eze 36:27. This is a type of "puppeteering", a steering of a person like a sled dog is steered. Humans are like the dog that returns his vomit (i.e., returning to evil time and again). Even charitable acts have a self motive, not pure giving. Thus, ALL good acts of men = God's prerogative and puppeteering.

God has caused the U.S. to send food to many nations, including non-Christian nations. ... the food is received it does not get to the intended recipients because "leaders" are corrupt and sell the food to get enriched.

The US does give more than any other nation uncomplainly. The Government gives much...the Churches give much.

God has caused the U.S. to send food to many nations, including non-Christian nations. Often, when the food is received it does not get to the intended recipients because "leaders" are corrupt and sell the food to get enriched. And the hungry are still hungry and many die. Many will blame God as though He did not supply for the hungry.

We know that nothing is impossible to God and He can stop any evil at any time, but He does not because He promised calamity and punishments that last thru generations to those nations, tribes, and families that keep disobeying Him.

Cluny thank you for sharing that experience,I had and am facing tough times but God always provided and we didn't go hungry. When our business failed due to sending most of the Army Posts troops overseas I found we had one can of pork & beans, one can of pineapple and brown sugar I put them all together and cooked them and it was really good and filled my husband, two children, and myself up to where we were not hungry. My daughter is having a tough time now money wise and people have bought them groceries,a stranger at the drug store heard her talking about the grandchildren she is raising and spoke up and ask the ages and had clothes for the two year old and the 13 year old including a badly needed coat for the little one. God Bless

Each and every day 30,000 children die of malnutrition and hunger related causes.
Are non of these "Christian"?
---1stcliff on 1/8/15

Seed and righteous are singular words of a plural group.

1 Samuel 2:8 KJV

He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars [righteous] of the earth are the Lord's , and he hath set the world upon them.

If any one of us think us not beggared, then perhaps for that person, salvation is not necessary.
---aka on 1/8/15

Righteous = to be right with God, innocent, just

God ALWAYS favors those who trust Him, obey Him, praise Him.

Physical bread = food provided by God usually through a person who has been moved by God to provide for your physical needs. This person may or may not be a Christian. God often does things with multiple purposes in mind. Perhaps he uses a non-Christian so that you can witness to him about Christ.

Spiritual bread = Jesus provides for your Spiritual needs.

While I have been through tough financial times not knowing where my next dollar was coming from, God has always provided.

And those know know me can tell I've never missed a meal.

That's all I can say.

Christ is baptized! In the Jordan!

Psa_37:25 I have been young, and now am old, yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

It is both. Here is one on following after righteousness.

Isa_51:1-2 Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
