...All Christians want, above all, to see their family and friends saved ...
---Rita_H on 4/20/15
I know. Immediate family is different...to a point.
I imagine Christ's great sorrow. Judah and Judas, his own extended family tree.
Joh_5:43 I am come in my Father's name, ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Israel as GOD's wife. As a 40 year old adult some of the scriptures finally rang my bell.
Isa_62:4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken, neither ...: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, thy land shall be married.
Jer_3:14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD, for I am married unto you: ...

Rita H is right it is hard to turn away from a lost person and shake off the dust, but those verses I gave tell us that is exactly what we are to do,come out from among them. When one tries to walk with one foot in Godliness and one in Satan's realm they delude themselves. Why would any person think they can dabble with people in the Occult and still remain holy. God Bless

Trav - "Luk_9:5 whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet..."
Yes, it's a very fine line we tread if we feel that we are being lead to witness to another and they don't want to know. All Christians want, above all, to see their family and friends saved (that is human nature) so shaking the dust from our feet isn't, then, quite that easy.

For one, don't practice witchcraft.
Your friend is still your friend and you must see that he is heading down a deadly path.
Encourage him in the truth.
Listen and talk about your viewpoints, If you won't listen to him, chances are he won't listen to you.
Know your boundaries and do not cross them, for Christ is a better friend than any person.
Let him know by your words and actions that you belong to Christ. Maybe God will turn his heart toward Him and you can be friends on many levels.
Eze 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn [yourselves], and live ye.
Be in this world but not of this world.

...But if we cut off non-believers completely who will witness to them?
---Rita_H on 4/18/15
Have had this thought myself, we all do...scripture addresses it.
You and I draw no one.
Is it our mission or are we on GOD's mission? Who is seeking? Who is he seeking.
GOD's. Luk_19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Ours is the only religion where GOD chooses. Search the words, chose, chosen, seek, sought.
Joh_6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: ...
Luk_9:5 whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet...
Isa_62:12 they shall call them, The holy people,...

2 Corinthians 6:14-17 You must not be unequally yoked with unbelievers and that is just about as unequal as any thing I ever heard. What fellowship does God's Light have to do with darkness, what does wickedness and righteousness have in common. What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What agreement between the Temple of God and idols? For we(Christians) are the Temple of God. Therefore come out from them and be separate ,says the Lord. As a Christian you must live by the Word of God,the Bible. Drop that man like he is a bad disease!!! God Bless

well I had to stop association with my own mother cause she said she casted spells against my husband. She said she went to a witch about me and that she is jealous of me. She says it's natural to be jealous of your children. Im sorry mother..friend whomever if they a messing around with darkness I cant be found. I'll pray for her continuously and let her see her grandchildren.

"What do I do?" Live out your own belief.
Sierra, do you believe you should continue the association? Answer that question honestly from within and you will have your answer.

We don't abandon friends when we find out that they do something which we know to be wrong but we should let them know that we don't approve and certainly make adjustments to how involved we become in their life.
We surely all have relatives who are atheists or agnostics but we still love them. However, we might sometimes have to say to them "No, as a Christian I cannot do that, OR I will not go there OR I don't wish to meet your friends at that particular place etc.
We have to stand up and be counted. But if we cut off non-believers completely who will witness to them?

How do you know your friend is practicing witchcraft?
---learner2 on 4/17/15|
Pray for your friend. Don't you think God knew your friend was a witch before you met each other?
Christ is risen!

So-called witchcraft deals in tricks, while God brings warm truth. Advise your friend to be prepared for disaster from these actions.
