//You place Christ far above Paul... correct?//
Of course, no writer glorifies Christ more than our Apostle Paul.
Paul also knew what Jesus did in his ministry to the nation of Israel(Rom.15:8) He also speaks of Christ in his earthly ministry (2 Cor 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. He also knew the boC and the nation of Israel are different

It is simple to divide the scripture speaking of the church ...The church of the one body does not have twelve tribes.

Paul tells us "rightly divide the truth"
---michael_e on 10/7/15

If it was simple you would have posted it. Paul said correctly but, you added speculation to your dividing truth.
You place Christ far above Paul... correct?
Joh_10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
Mat_15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Rev_21:12 And had a wall great and high, had twelve gates, at the gates twelve angels, names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

//Twelve Apostles were Israel.//
Of course Israel had 12 apostles, as they had 12 tribes (Matt 19:28)
It is simple to divide the scripture speaking of the church which is one body,(new creature) from the nation which has twelve tribes. The church of the one body does not have twelve tribes.
We are either Israel (more aptly Jew or Gentile) or we are the Church the body of Christ (neither Jew nor Gentile).
Paul tells us "rightly divide the truth"

\\Entire Bible front to Back was written by the fathers of Israel for Israel. Prophets were of Israel.\\

St. Luke the Evangelist was a Gentile.

Glory to Jesus Christ!

...Was it for Israel? ...This is where confusion lies.
---michael_e on 10/6/15

Entire Bible front to Back was written by the fathers of Israel for Israel. Prophets were of Israel.
(12) Twelve Apostles were Israel. The end of Revelations is about Israel see the (12) Twelve Gates.
Search for Israel in scripture and in the world, as per Christ's instructions, Matt 10:6/15:24, if you require a Christ commanded direction. (Note that no denom does this scripturally today, you will be a (bible) family oriented outlaw)
Finding her you will understand better the GOD of Israel.
Joe_2:27 ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, that I am the LORD your God, none else: my people shall never be ashamed.

Hello Michael,

You are not alone. I see what's happening in these last days. The Word is truth. It says that they (the church) will have itching ears. They will love lies rather than the truth, and that they will heap up to themselves teachers. But we must understand that scripture must be fulfilled, and these things must happen. So try not to be frustrated Michael, as you are not alone.

Paul instructs us to "study and rightly divide"
Read it, and read it again. (Rom 10:17 )
You will not know God or his words without reading them.
Compare similar verses. (1 Cor 2:13 ) Compare scripture with scripture.
Determine the application. (Neh 8:8 )Right division. Not every verse was written to you. Determine who is speaking and where it fits in Gods purpose. Was it for Israel? Is it for the Church today? This is where confusion lies. You must become fully persuaded in your own mind (Romans 14:5 ).

The cussing is because you are interfering with their feel good time.

The Bible makes one look at themselves.
They don't wish to do so.

\\No Christian will cuss anyone out since it would not be loving.
\\

Actually, St. Paul was not above a salty expression or two himself--aimed at his opponents.

Glory to Jesus Christ!

I love to read and study scripture. I have taught Bible studies and studied with many people.

No Christian will cuss anyone out since it would not be loving.

I encourage everyone to read and study scripture.

The Seventh day Adventist church has many through the entire Bible studies.

Has anyone heard what the prosperity and false prophets are saying about the failure of the September prophecy?

You are on the right track Rob.
It's in Pauls writings alone we find the doctrine, position, and destiny of the church. Salvation by grace through faith, justification apart from the law, full atonement of your sins through the death and resurrection.
A church body of both Jew and Gentile

So did I.

Michael_e, 29 years ago I found a place which actually goes through the BIBLE book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse.

We average about 4 to 5 verses per week.

For the past 10 years we have been studying the Epistles of the Apostle Paul.

Rob, try to find a group that "rightly divides"
---michael_e on 10/3/15

Cluny I only wrote what God's own Word says, therefore it's up to you to understand why that man needed another man to teach him. John 14:26 The Comforter, the Holy Ghost will teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance. God Bless
---Darlene_1 on 10/3/15

\\Remember the Bible tells us we need no man to teach us the Bible but the Holy Ghost is our teacher. \\

In Acts, when Philip asked the Ethiopian eunuch if he understood what he was reading in Isaiah, he got the reply, "How can I, unless some man show me?"

Think about it.

Rob, are you looking to merely STUDY the Bible with other people? If so, I'm sure there are such groups all over your city.

Or are you looking to TEACH other people yourself?

Forgive me, but I get the impression you really mean #2.

Glory to Jesus Christ!
---Cluny on 10/2/15

Rob about 57 years ago when I wanted to really learn the Bible I used a reference Bible and would spend hours running references. Back then Bible Study Groups were unheard of except at regular services at church. Remember the Bible tells us we need no man to teach us the Bible but the Holy Ghost is our teacher. When we pray and seek God's truth the Holy Ghost will lead us into all truth. I enjoy the Bible study groups too and when it starts with prayer and keeps a Godly attitude one statement can bring another thought to share from the Word and it can be good. May God Bless you in your quest for learning more about Him. I'll pray for you and the Group. God Bless

Well, I don't think a Christian will cuss you out. So, have you asked any really Christian people if they want to study with you?

Yes, there are people who call on the name of "Berean", for their claim to authority. But we call on the name of Jesus (c:

Calling on the name of "Berean" does not automatically mean you are right. Plenty of people can say they have looked in the scripture, but this does not guarantee how well they have understood what they have read.

So, if a really Christian person sees you are stubbornly wrong, he or she won't cuss you out, but will offer what is right.

It is easier to listen or read what some "spirit" inspired church leader says or writes, than to dig in and study for yourself
The Word of truth must be rightly divided, to spiritually profit, it's not all addressed to us, or written about us.
To understand and obey Gods Word, first determine what Scriptures are particularly related to you and study all the rest in the light of these.
Many fail to give the Bible the respect it deserves.
The Word, rightly divided, is far more important to the boC as well as to the individual believer, than any commentary.

Mark Eaton, it took a few years, but I found a place which actually goes through the BIBLE book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. It started as an in home BIBLE STUDY and grew from there.

We take our name from Acts 17:11. You will be surprised how many people despise us because of this!!!
---Rob on 10/1/15

Why? I can only speculate of course, however my thoughts are that they are afraid scripture will discredit those they consider inspire "leaders", as well as that which they have been given to believe. Which obviously offers them the comfort they desire. In which case, fantasy for that mindset, is more desirable than truth. Again, this is only speculative, perhaps someone to which this may apply, will enlighten me as concerning that thought process. Assuming that it is actually applicable to anyone.

I suggest you find a Bible Study near you and study with people who want to be there. I accept there are many "Christians" who do not want to study the Bible.

The BSF may have classes near you. I do not vouch for them or their classes. You could find a seminary class near you. You might have a Bible Study at your church, or a church near you. My personal favorite is a Bible Study at a local restaurant where you can listen, participate, and eat at the same time!
