Thank ya'll for these thoughts and the story too, Nicole.
He takes care of the smallest lily and provides for the birds ... How much more for those He gave His life for!
(Matthew 6:25-34 and Matthew 10:29-31.)
"Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall to the ground without your Father.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows."
What a wonderful, awesome God we serve!!

People forget that God made this vast universe for humanity.
God became Man to Save us from ourselves is enough to convince us we are the very center of His Interest.
You ever heard the story of the 5 or 7 year old boy who told his mother he was running away.
She dressed him properly and packed his bag
Told him goodbye and let him go out the front door without an argument.
But, she FOLLOWED him from a distance watching him without his knowledge.
Getting dark the frighten boy decided to go back home.
The mother greeted him at home, fed him, undressed him and helped the sleepy boy back into bed.
God is doing that to us right now.
Did we arrange the stars or did God?

Cluny thank you for the correct word. God Bless

Deuteronomy 32:10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness, he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. (KJV)
This verse is speaking of God finding Jacob in the wilderness and after he found him he kept him in the center of his eye meaning that he watched over Jacob closely.
You've read John 3:16. I believe that we are extremely important to God. He loves us with His great love so much that he gave His only Son for us.
It is my belief that God's people are His greatest concern. I believe He has proved it over and over.
If we are His greatest concern shouldn't He be our greatest concern???

I don't think we are the center of God's interest, but God cares for us.
Also, how we are can effect how much good God is for us.
Two people can have a million dollars and get very different results.

\\ long as we can get the jest of it \\
Darlene, the word you're looking for is GIST.
Glory to Jesus Christ!

Nicole Lacey thanks for that,I know they are very tolerant if not they would have blocked some people a long time ago. Yes I think there are several which is good . Nicole I never thought much about the meaning of meek, good to see what you wrote, but it made me think of peacemakers, seems being meek might be a form of making peace. God Bless

Don't worry Darlene, the Moderator called Monk's buff.
They didn't think much of it, or won't have posted it.
Of course there are many Moderators on this Website.
I know some are more tolerance than others.
The Moderator who released Monk's post just proved to Monk he or she is Meek.
And we all know what Jesus thinks about Meek people.
(Just in case some are confused. Meek DOES NOT mean weak. It means a Strong person who can CONTROL their own actions and emotions for someone else's sake)

Monk Brendan I am very surprised you would call down the Moderator on spelling. Think about this,we are on this site free, there are many posts that go through the Moderator's hands or a machine either, and if one little thing is wrong it doesn't really matter as long as we can get the jest of it where we can answer. Moderators work hard. Moderator I just want to say thank for being here and giving us the means to share the Bible and whatever we have learned of life along our way. God Bless

Faithforfaith, you are wrong. God did expect something from the man He created on the sixth day. He expected obedience and when the man disobeyed God, the man was thrown out of the Garden and God cursed the ground that Adam would toil.
Salvation is not free either. We are to bear fruit, we are to pick up our crosses and follow Jesus, we are to feed His sheep and we are to keep God's commandments and abide in the words of His Son. Matt 19:17, John 15.

Some points from 1 Cor 2
The Spirit knows the deep things of God
Who can know the things of God?
the believer has the mind of Christ.
These verses and more tell me that God is deep, infinite, beyond mans total or finite comprehension, and yet, He has given His Word, given Jesus Christ, as an act of love, as a revelation of who He is on some levels. The giving of the Son is an awesome act of love, by Father, Son, with mankind as recipient. That and more tells me that mankind is of great import to Him, whether or not the very center of the Fathers interest and concern, and to be thankful, recognizing His love. Even if not the center, how great is God in loving us so, and all praise, honor glory are due the Father.

The creator performed (gave) three gifts GRACEFULLY (the real meaning of the word "GRACE" is NOTHING IS EXPECTED IN RETURN).
The creator gave us these three gifts...
1) the 7 steps of creation was done WITHOUT EXPECTING anything in return (it was done GRACEFULLY).
2) salvation was performed/accomplished as a FREE gift (a free gift is given GRACIOUSLY).
The giving of the divine Spirit has been done GRACEFULLY.
God has done all.
---faithforfaith on 10/22/15|
God already did ALL of His business....PERIOD. Everybody is going to go where ever they should be....RIGHT NOW in this life.
The only thing that can be done is...
how we each choose to be (think, act, speak, etc.).
James 1:25 and 2:12 say that WE today are supposed to live the PERFECT LAW (law of liberty) and that we are to speak and act as those who will judged under the law of liberty.
BUT instead, we choose (were taught) to live the old IMPERFECT LAW (we are the lawless ones).

MODERATOR: Please do learn how to spell.
Your title for this question says, Our We Of God's Concern
Rather, the word you should have used is ARE as in Are We of God's Concern
Pray for me,
the unworthy monk Brendan
BTW, You probably don't have the "stuff" to let this get out, so other people can see it. But I wanted to let you know that I am on to you.
---Monk_Brendan on 10/21/15|
Yes, barb, God sends us the right people at propitious times.
---santimoy.kumar on 10/20/15|
God sent His only begotten Son into the world to testify to the truth. He knew His Son would be mocked, ridiculed, ignored, tortured and hung on a cross but He sent Him anyway. I think that should answer your question.
---barb on 10/20/15|
I believe that God is deeply and passionately interested in every aspect of His creation from the smallest piece of dust to us, and to extraterrestrial life, if such there be.
After all, none of this would exist if God's loving creative power did not will it into existence.
Glory to Jesus Christ!
---Cluny on 10/20/15|
Santimoy I have no idea, however I know man is considered by Him, and important to Him. A similar question was asked by a psalmist. "When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained, What is man, that you art mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visits him? For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor. you made him to have dominion over the works of your hands, you have put all things under his feet": Psa 8:3-6
---josef on 10/19/15|
Yes, Monk Brendan, thank you for that. I pray the same for you. Our future is in good hands.
---santimoy.kumar on 10/19/15|
God is supremely interested in each and every one of us. We are the pinnacle of His creation, the very reason that He created us is to have fellowship with us. God cares about you, Santimoy, and He has done everything to bring you to the point where you can accept His largess, and live forever with Him in heaven.
Pray for me,
the unworthy monk Brendan
