Monk Brendan *I think that a Christian who loves God with heart, mind, soul, and strength will grow hungry for God's presence and he or she will be led by the Spirit to go before God to get a closer relationship with Him. Christians get hungry for the right food, the Bible also. I don't think you would stay away from the Word and God because He is so much a part of your heart and life. God Bless

Trey: If he eats a lot of pancakes & his name is Jack, well... LOL

People that do not believe that Bigfoot exists haven't seen my Son-In-Law!

Jerry said, "Do all monks spend their days on the internet? Aren't you afraid of its worldly influence?"

I do not spend all my day on the internet. Just 2 hours a day. And yes, I am concerned about worldly influence. But my monastic superior and my confessor pay attention too, and I get feedback from them that I listen to.

Pray for me,
the unworthy monk Brendan

Probably only if their Abbot doesn't catch them surfing. Google the "Vaticans Secret life". But, then if a pedophile can confess to a priest/pope and thumb a rosary a thousand times to make up for a kid being abused. Whats the internet to that?
Eze_34:6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.
Eze_34:11 For thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

monk: "Jerry, the same applies to you. I've often thought that your tinfoil hat was just a bit askew."

See? Monks can have a sense of humor too.

Do all monks spend their days on the internet? Aren't you afraid of its worldly influence?

///Anyone who has ever seen the movie "Harry & the Hendersons" know Bigfoot exists in substantial numbers. Also, he recently made an appearance in a GEICO commercial where he totally destroyed a car in a snowball fight. Bad Yeti! LOL///

Correction, that's Farmer's Insurance commercial.

Anyone who has ever seen the movie "Harry & the Hendersons" know Bigfoot exists in substantial numbers. Also, he recently made an appearance in a GEICO commercial where he totally destroyed a car in a snowball fight. Bad Yeti! LOL

Years ago, where I live, the city planners named a street "Bigfoot" in the big guy's honor.

Let's not be so quick to demonize what we don't understand. Fear of the unknown has always possessed & terrorized people causing many torch bearing mobs to go on wildly out of control witch/monster hunts against others they imagined (perceived) to be very different from themselves.

These types of things scare me.

Who truly knows the truth on this.

Jerry, actually tinfoil hats protect you from government snooping, not from unlikely cosmology. :)
---john1944 on 11/24/15

Jerry said, "Don't add WE to your delusion. You may need to adjust your tinfoil hat."

Jerry, the same applies to you. I've often thought that your tinfoil hat was just a bit askew.

However, replies like that are the reason that these blogs become such a snake pit. A proper response, filled with Christ's Love might have been more appropriate.

Jerry, don't be upset. I never said I didn't believe the earth was spherical.
---john1944 on 11/23/15

john1944: "Jerry, and, we might add, a spherical earth.."

Don't add WE to your delusion. You may need to adjust your tinfoil hat.

I myself am waiting for more evidence, like the body of one.

But don't forget, there was a time that zoologists didn't believe that gorillas existed, either.

New species of animals are found from time to time, though admittedly no megafauna since the gorilla.

Glory to Jesus Christ!

At least they're intelligent enough to avoid humans.

In the land,Tibet and other mountainous country where an animal is called Yeti or Abominable Snowman, and another name in a different country they had the dried skull and some other part and another part from the other country. DNA testing was done and an amazing surprise they both were a Polar Bear and a Brown Bear mix but not modern ones but ones long ago extinct these were thought to be Yeti and called another name too. There isn't much telling what is hidden from regular view just waiting to be discovered. Whatever they are God made them all. God Bless

They are always discovering new Species of animal and there has been another type of human that lived when the Neanderthal did ,they found the skull and took a tooth and did DNA. There are many things I don't understand but too many people have seen Bigfoot for it to be a Hoax. Some people don't believe in UFO's but I have seen two of them at two different times, one confirmed by radar at Military posts, seen by my Aunt as it traveled all across Texas, the other was view by my family from our front yard. I don't know what they are either but they are real. God Bless

I don't think they exist, nor do I think they're demonic. Just my opinion..
---john1944 on 11/20/15

The Mountain Yeti of the Himalayas is an exaggerated tale of a specific breed of monkeys that live there.
One look at the Himalayan snub-nose monkey, even though the size is exaggerated, and you can see the resemblance to witness-approved artist drawings.
This species had only been confirmed in the last 5 years.
Most of the others, I believe, also seem to be exaggerations of either ape, monkey or human (hermits, lycanthropes, etc.) or total fraudulent claims.
Whatever is found, we know God created its kind on day 6(land animal) and its kind was on Noah's ark.
---micha9344 on 11/20/15

I am of the opinion that there is enough forest space here and there in the world that a large great ape species could exist. Who are we to question God's creation, or is humanity arrogant enough to think that we have seen it all.

However, outside of footprints and some hairs, there is no real evidence of the Yeti. No bones, no dead body, nothing. Nor do I believe that they simply evaporate when killed.

Unfortunately, these have never been researched properly. They fall into the "shadow" world like UFOs, where para-scientists report to each other, and nobody does any valid research.

Pray for me,
the unworthy monk Brendan
