Many many people state,"if it ain't in the bible it was not meant to be known".
Is there anything God does not want man to know?
Another is,"we won't know till we get to heaven".
Who makes this claim truth?

Leon, what is the price of a gallon of milk in Phoenix? Quick, you have a baby crying, and there's no milk in the refrigerator.

I'm not tracking with your analogy. Would you please clarify?

"Will you tell me and others,
if it ain't in the bible it was not meant to be known.----earl on 2/16/16".

The way this is worded, the response would of course be no, no one would make such a foolish declaration. So please explain exactly what you are referring too. Most of us, as adults, know how to drive a car, yet neither the car, or the instructions on how to drive it are found in scripture. There are a plethora of things that we know, that are not found in scripture. Yet,I believe, all good things, whether found in scripture or not, are inspired of the Father, and that evil is inspired of Satan and his minions, and that man receives influence from the source he yields himself too.

Caliph Omar was said to have destroyed the Library at Alexandria, saying, "If those books agree with the Quran, we don't need them, and if these are opposed to the Quran, destroy them." (Some Isis generals have said similar things).

Many human endeavours have details not mentioned in religious texts. The Bible mentions bread, but includes no recipies. The implication that cookbooks contain knowledge "not meant to be known" because it isn't in the Bible, is clearly ridiculous.

If you say "if it isn't in the Bible, it isn't that important" (e.g. what color was Jesus's hair), it makes more sense.

Also, how could "all the books be opened" if there is only one book?

John 20:30-31 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life through his name.
John 21:24-25 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
-The Bible is not exhaustive knowledge, but it is sufficient.

"if it ain't in the bible it was not meant to be known"
Not true. God spoke to the OT prophets by visions, dreams, and other prophets. Our modern Bible was compiled by Paul and other Apostles after Jesus died.

Is there anything God does not want man to know?
Yes, whatever we want to know, that we don't know.

"we won't know till we get to heaven"
One always knows more about the inner workings of the house after they are living there.

Ill ask the first half another way.
Who told you
"if it ain't in the bible it was not meant to be known".
Do you say its a truth because someone you heard say it or something other ?
I am seeing replies but no one produced a foundation for it to be a truth .

I do not believe we will be omniscient when we see Glory.
It will take an eternity to learn from the eternal God.

At the Last Judgment, all the books will be opened and Jesus will judge us. However, I am not sure that we will be privy to what anyone else did, as far as sin.

"Is there anything God does not want man to know?" No, however now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then, when face to face with Him, we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that we know now is partial and incomplete, but then we will know everything completely, just as Father now knows us completely. "We won't know till we get to heaven".
Who makes this claim truth?" The Apostle Paul by what I believe to have been the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

GOD'S decisions/will is not for us to know and be aware of.

We have alot of nerve (hutzpah) thinking that we really can understand and know His will (should we be so arrogant instead of simply TRUSTING Him?...where is our REAL faith?).

Jhn 21:22 Jesus said to him, "If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? Follow me!"

Jhn 21:23
"If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?"
