Matthew 13:44 - AGAIN: the kingdom of heaven like unto a treasure hid in a field : The which the man hath Found , he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field .

Matthew 13:38 - THE field is the world : the good seed is the son of man
but the tares are the children of the wicked one.

///...Who can capture and possess The Spirit of Truth, that He may sell Truth to another to possess...is it possible the Spirit of Truth can be bought or sold?---aservant on 7/2/16///

aservant: Jesus is the Way, Truth & Life, Son & Word of God of whom the entire Bible is about. I believe (BUY) that! Why? Because I've been "paying attention" to what the Bible says. I've been "spending time" in the word of God (Bible). Having done do, I wouldn't sell (exchange/trade) what God says for nothing else.

Please understand, I'm not taking it upon myself to say the truth can be bought or sold. The Bible (Pv. 23:23) says we can choose & do so in very personal & spiritual ways.

Mat 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mat 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: FREELY ye have received, FREELY give.

Pro 23:23 is instructing the believer to acquire, possess, and embrace the truth of Fathers word, and to share it freely. For freely we have received, therefore we are to freely give. We, as disciples, are to aspire to obtaining wisdom, and with wisdom, understanding. Knowing that both wisdom and understanding comes via the Truth found only in Father's Word, through which the believer is sanctified and empowered, of Him.

Jesus is the Truth. The Bible specifies Truth, which is of Jesus. Both Jesus and the Bible are called the Word.

Jesus and the Bible are the Spirit of Truth in flesh and in print.

Who can capture and possess The Spirit of Truth, that He may sell Truth to another to possess. Thus, is it possible the Spirit of Truth can be bought or sold?

///Leon...Why do you ask questions if you don't like the answers you get, and then answer your own questions yourself?...---Cluny on 7/1/16///

Cluny: Some people know & know that they know. They're teachers. Others know, but don't know that they know. No problem! Remind them. Many people don't know & know that they don't know. Cool! They're teachable. THEN, there are multitudes of people (in the world today) who don't know & don't know that they don't know. Lord Jesus!!! Pray God's deliverance over them that they may soon want to really know & choose to make a conscious decision to buy the truth (spend time in & pay attention to the word/ instructions of God ~ Pv. 23:23) so they too can know & grow.

///Leon, I hope someday, if I live long enough, that I will come to understand Bible truth. I know that you understand everything very well and I know how inadequate I am. Please pray for me.---john1944 on 6/30/16///

John: Please help my understanding. Why the parting shot? :)

Lord deliver us from evil. Amen!

Leon, let me put my comment another way.

Why do you ask questions if you don't like the answers you get, and then answer your own questions yourself?

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Leon, I hope someday, if I live long enough, that I will come to understand Bible truth. I know that you understand everything very well and I know how inadequate I am. Please pray for me.

Jesus not only said that the truth could be bought but He said that we could buy it from Him, so yes it can also be sold. "I council you to buy from me gold tried in the fire that you may be rich, and white raiment, that you may be clothed and that the shame of your nakedness may not appear and anoint your eyes with eye salve that you might see." Rev 3:14-22. Gold tried in the fire is the Truth....pure Truth.

So what is the currency that is exchanged for the Spiritual revealing of the testimony of Jesus? We must take the truth, sow it and give it freely to all who seek it.

///Leon, as I said in another post, you are much smarter than I am, so I think that's why I don't understand you. So I won't post anymore here either.
---john1944 on 6/30/16///

My posts haven't a thing to do with anyone's smarts. Yet, they do have somethings to do with people who foolishly (unwisely) out smart themselves by not spending time in & paying attention to Bible truth.

See you around the marketplace John! :)

///Leon, do you ask questions because you looking for answers?

Or do you ask them as a springboard to preach your OWN answers?

Glory to Jesus Christ!
---Cluny on 6/30/16///

Cluny: Do you have a problem with my questions or is it about your preconceived notions regarding me personally? Do I really have to filter my questions thru you for validity & approval?

Don't let your unfocused bias blind you. If my questions aren't for you I'll understand if you just ignore them. It's really that simple, especially when you don't have any constructive input that would glorify Jesus. Thank you.

Dee: No? Are you absolutely certain? I'm not talking about other books or data sources. What does the Bible say on the subject?

///Leon, the question is so general...I have no idea what you are really asking.
---john1944 on 6/29/16///

John: I'm really asking what I'm asking. Take your time & focus on what the Bible says. This blog's answers are there. :)

No, Leon, it does not.

Truth can be bought and sold in books and other means of information retrieval. If i buy a history book, anless it is skewed by someone's outside opinion, like believing Mohammad was touched by angels, or that it's okay to beat up on women, little kids, and dogs, the history will be true, and that truth can be sold.
