Cluny no there is nothing going on we don't know about, these are people we have been close to a long time and they are ,as I told you,Christians. The children were very small when adopted and this girl has been with problems since the start. I wonder if the biological Mom was on drugs when she carried her. I know people always think the worse but it just does not apply in this case. They are good parents and good people.

There may be more going on here than you yourself know, much less are saying here, Darlene.

You'd be surprised how many abusive parents, spouses, or even murderers have the reputation of being "good people" until they are found out.

Only God Himself knows the full truth of this event.

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Rita H thank you. Cluny she didn't want to hide to escape. She was adopted, and her sister and she is perfectly fine. This girl who ran away has been big trouble. Their Mom is a good person we know her well and have known the Dad since he was a child. The girl has slammed her Mom against the wall so many times the concussions have left scars on the brain. The sister is as I said fine. They are both in High school. The girl wants to be with her birth mother, maybe thats it. Her Mom abuse has stopped now,we think. Rita H is right only prayer will help, right now the mom has lost her Memory, the doctors said it was from stress. You see the Dads job requires him to be out of town a good bit and the Mom has them alone. They love the girls very much.

Cluny the girl was a run away, she rode her bike off to a boys house. Her parents notified the Police who were looking for her too. Her Dad called the boys house and ask his parents if she was there, they said no. Since she was a Run Away, the police were looking for her along with the Dad then it is illegal to hide her and may be Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. The Dad may not need to charge the parents the Police probably will do it if they broke any laws. It was also reported on the News. No parent should hide a child from her family. I don't know what will come of it,if anything.

"Why did she want to hide from her father?"

I see nowhere in the question (or the follow up information) that the girl was hiding from her father. It is not for any of us to make up things, assume things or do anything except pray that this will all be sorted out and have a happy ending.

\\ I think he should file some kind of charges against those parents.

What charges exactly did you have in mind, Darlene?

Why did she want to hide from her father?

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Rita H The mother fainted a few weeks ago and when she came to she knew nothing and still doesn't. My Daughter went to see her and she cried when she left, they were real close even to her keeping my daughter's 3 year old grand daughter she is raising, overnight. We have known the Dad since he was about 10 years old. The daughter who ran away and her sister were adopted by our friends when they were small. The odd thing is the girl who ran away got her sister and parents in church and they were all saved and baptized and that girl wasn't. They need your prayers still especially that the Mom will get her memories back. Blessings

Thanks for the update Darlene, I am so pleased and relieved that she is home and safe, however, I also agree that the father should take some action against the family who lied. What a cruel thing to do but I'd want to know what the motive was for the lie. This should be checked out and I think that would be best done by the police. It might not be anything sinister, but it might be and that needs to be found out.

Thank you for the prayers they found her yesterday. She had gone to a boy's house and even when her daddy asked the parents of the boy if she was there they lied and said no. The Daddy drove the roads for hours looking for her. I think he should file some kind of charges against those parents.

I will certainly do that Darlene. What a frightening scenario that is. I trust that she is found safe and well - very soon.
