Let's Comment In Love

Several regular users here are ruining a once great website and you'll lose it soon I believe. I've absented myself for some time because of the hatred being spewed by 'some' and as I can see nothing has changed since I last came here I'll say goodbye to you. I wish every blessing to the Moderator.

Nicole,

Thanks

I hope to keep in mind the Lords words which are what matter rather than my own, knowing we can do no good thing of ourselves...

Also, not been offended by certain posts or persons no matter what their responses or posts may be. If we disagree, ok. It is not for me to convince anyone.

//I do not see in these verses permission or justification to Not speak in love. Rather Matt 7:12---Chria9396 on 12/9/16

I never seen or can remember any hatred or nasty comments from you to anyone on CN.

So, your words can pull weight on CN.

But Karen, Rita and others who have the NERVE to complain of how others are speaking on CN are the WORST Offenders on CN.

If you can go back on their posts you can read NASTY POSTS by Karen and Rita HERE ON CN esp. towards Catholics and Orthodox

I think many have read it. Throughout the chapter (Matt 23) Jesus addresses scribes and Pharisees, to which this and other comments are directed. "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!"
Jesus continues from vs 33 (vipers etc) to vs 34: "Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify, and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city"

I do not see in these verses permission or justification to Not speak in love. Rather Matt 7:12

Excellent comment!

Matthew 7:1

Guess some here have not read about Jesus when he ran the money changers out of the temple. And HE called some a "BROOD OF VIPERS."

Jesus spoke in love to even those who hated him. He often occasionally used harsh words to wake those who knew better to wake up.

But we know the hearts of no one. We need to only speak in love.

Jesus never gave up on any of His disciples, and this example is required of us (c:

"with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love," (Ephesians 4:2)

Even with our right leaders and real friends, our Heavenly Father knows there are times when we will need "longsuffering".

If even wrong people here are more or less free to say what they really have to say, then whoever is right is also free to say what he or she has to offer, to help them (c:

And have you considered 1 Corinthians 11:19? God is able to use the wrong ones to make the Jesus people look good!! (c:

Dear Rita,

While some things may be viewed as negative, there is some good, some enlightening and loving. I prefer to focus on such as I am sure of its source, and therein is where hope lies. Your presence on cnet, kindness, gentleness, respect towards others and sincerity have been a pleasure and a blessing, for which I am grateful, thanking you and the Father. Wishing you well in all things and wishing you would remain.
