The Father's grace is more than sufficient for any evil that opposes it.

Nice reply Bill.

Jesus means that we have sufficient trouble, today, so we do not need to now already be worrying about how to handle tomorrow.

But . . . for whatever we go through, His grace is sufficient against any evil >

"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." (Romans 12:21)

You can feed on how Joseph with God was able to make good use of all the evil that was done to Joseph > Genesis 37-50.

And Jesus on the cross went through so much more than we do. And Jesus was busy with pleasing our Heavenly Father, being "a sweet-smelling aroma" (Ephesians 5:2).

It's not an either or. If you're in Christ you receive grace.

but... "that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day" (Ephesians 6:13) you should put on the armor of God.

So there is evil in every day, adding evil to a day with personally terrorizing yourself by NOT trusting in God is adding to this evil.

Does it make more sense now?

I don't know Mike, I think you see the evil more than the Graces.

It's like the famous footprint story.

How can you count God's Graces?

How do you know all the many times God PREVENTED evil to befall you?

We must Trust God's love for us.

Few and evil have the days of the years of my life been. (Genesis 47:9)

Why did I ever come out of the womb to see trouble and sorrow and to end my days in shame? (Jeremiah 20:18)

I agree with these: Jacob and Jeremiah. I am finding more sufficient the evil.
