Is Christ Greater Than Life

To me this verse speaking of God's people is so moving:
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.

What are your thoughts? Does Christ mean more to you than life?

Yes, Christ is better than life itself, because He is life. He said in Matthew, I come that you might have life and have it abundantly. So yes, give me Christ Jesus

I think of how Peter boasted how he would go through prison and death with Jesus, but he didn't . . . not at first, anyway.

So, I trust God to make sure I am how He really desires.

By the way . . . people in ego can make great sacrifices, even giving their lives, so they can boast to themselves how great they are.

But is our love real enough so we are relating "without complaining and disputing", like Philippians 2:13-16 says God wants. And is our love gentle and quiet, making us pleasing to our Father? >

"rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)

What are your thoughts? Does Christ mean more to you than life? Christ is my life. With all that is within me, I live in that anointing. For me there is no truer statements than these, "I am crucified in Christ, nevertheless I live. Yet it is not "I" who lives, Christ live through me". "In Him I live, move, and have my being."
