Good advice Joseph!
God is light and The kingdom of God is illuminated by the light of God. The light provides peace and joy to those on whom it shines.

I experienced the light in heaven, first hand, many years ago. I don't expect folks to believe me, but the light, all by itself, will provide you with more happiness than anything here on Earth.

Every desire of man is a desire meant to bring Joy. In Heaven, God fills you with so much Joy, your only desire is to serve him.

What if a person does not want to live forever? I must say this for the benefit of those who may think this way. Don't judge life based on your experience in this age. We live in a 'fallen world'. A system totally influenced by the "god of this world". Life in this world is the mirrored image of the life to come, a reversed reflection. In the world to come "there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain," The arrogance and ignorance, which bred the hatred, prejudice, and intolerance that led to the evils of this life, will have passed away. "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man. The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

"What if a person does not want to live forever?" Simply reject the atoning sacrifice of Jesus, thus refusing the salvation the Father offers through Him. Jesus said, "Whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." To reject Him is show contempt for His Father, and as it is written, He "repays to their face those who hate him, by destroying them." The Hebrew word for destroying, as used in Deut 7:10 is defined perish 98 times in the O.T. The lake of fire is waiting for those who have no desire for eternal life through Christ.

Don't know of anyone who wants to live forever. A person should live as long God wants. If they feel/think differently means they know better than God and selfish because they are only thinking of themselves and not the effect they might have on others

I don't believe God offers that option, despite what the Jehovah's False Witnesses say.

Christ is risen!
