Can I Pierce My Nose

I am not sure God cares if you have a piercing or not. When I read "cuttings" in flesh I take that to mean cutting yourself and mutilation. Also, I believe it is like wearing an orange sweater as opposed to green if you look better in orange. Do we not all choose our likes and dislikes? I don't think you are "living the way of the world" if you are just doing it because you like it. Some things are a sin and some things just don't really make any difference. God will not condemn us for wearing earrings.

I am also a fairly regular conference delegate at ALC, and am challenged and provoked by what they do at the church, which I find is quite helpful. Upon visiting most recently for the XCEL Men's Conference, however, I was disturbed to find that they have installed a Starbucks within the church, and to have men dancing to YMCA in the church. Have I become pious or would anyone else be disturbed by these things?

	Music developmemt is necesary in christianity. We cannot play the same songs christians played 20, 30 or 50 years ago. But I think christians are just waiting for the world to come and bring new styles so they can play. That's called lack of identity. Piercings and tatoos before knowing Jesus are ok, after knowing Him don't think so.

Lupe2618??? Who's to say that other books and writings are NOT inspired by God? Your Pastor, Reverend or Priest???? Since when did God say that he would stop ministering to people through works other than that of the bible? Why does other writings and opinions have to be unholy or a conspiracy of some type? I think that one prays, read and beleive as you will. You cannot JUDGE another based on what YOU beleive to be true.

	The book was good, the movie is gonna be good too, i hope. It's just a book, and just a movie, and it's FICTION! To anyone who is mad about it, there are more important things in the world to worry about then a movie! Get a life!
