Generational Curses In The Bible

Original sin. Sentance passed is man toils ground and woman has pain in childbirth. Expelled from Eden. Jesus came. Pre sin, man has good condition. If christ redeemed you from this, then why do you still have to toil land and women have pain in childbirth? Ever consider? You can't say that the blessings from Deut. carry forward and the curses don't from the same scriptural base unless you are picking and choosing what it says. Generational curses do and can exist. The church hides in ignorance and for the most part is about as spiritual as a sweet potato. Did Jesus cast out demons or was he just confused? Did he raise the dead or was that a show? Just because you haven't experienced something is arrogant to think you know so much.

Why Was The Sabbath Changed

The sabbath was never changed. The law was never done away with. You believe that Jesus was with the Father when the law was given and he was just itching to get rid of it when he got the chance? Come on. He taught the law in its pure form. Christianity wants you to believe that the law that God gave moses is evil. But he kept the law. Why didn't he just tell the people that he was doing away with the law? He didn't. Ever wonder why? It is only a misunderstanding of an apostle(Paul) that you want to believe that the law was done away with. And yes, the 4th commandment you either obey or you don't. Free will.

Does Radio Substitute For Church

Nothing takes the place of going to Church on Sunday. More often if you want to. My wife told me, years ago, it was a Sin to miss Sunday Services. The sick and infirmed, can have the Clergy from the Church I go to, to go to visit and bring the word of God to them. I would also recommend that person who cannot make it to Church on Sunday listen to the Radio and Television that covers our Denomination not only on Sunday, but has much as they want to. It is very up lifting. The Clergy or Eucaristic Minister will give them Communion if they want it. If you have young childern, babbies on up. Bring them to Service. They will, by your guidence, learn how to behave in Church. All bases are covered. Peace be with you!

	Disappointed with Eloy's reply. Please do not presume to know what informs other peoples' Christian faith. We grown-ups can assess for ourselves. Google 'Gospel of Philip' for info. Word Of Faith Churches

I do not know what Word of Faith people you been talking too, but Word of Faith believers should be the most sound bunch of Christians since everything we believe is biblical. I consider myself a man who follows Gods Word. I study to show myself approve. The main problem is healing and prosperity if everyone would be honest, thats why they call word of faith preachers false. Churches have a problem with believing Gods word, and guess what thats stupid , but if you don't want to be healed that's your business. You think youre going to turn on God if he prospers you stay poor, but please don't say that it's God will. The Bible is God's will believe it.

Can I Pierce My Nose

To the poster who asked me about my motivation to take my nose peircing out let me be clear... I had nose rings that when they would come out (like when washing my face ect) I would almost get obsessed with having to get a replacement before it closed. The feeling I had without it was almost as if I wasn't complete without it. Like some feel they aren't without their favorite peice of jewelry or something. I decided anything that important that has nothing to do with God should be removed. It's the battle of my flesh. Now I don't think it's in sin to have one, but it's even sinful to put your wife above God. So yeah, the nose ring had to go.

After reading these things I did take my nose ring out. Because the reasons I put it in was because I thought it would make me look "cuter" or "sexy." And those automatically raise red flags if you study the word and are in the process of turning your life over to God. I wear a Gold ear ring because it was a birthday present which I see nothing wrong with wearing. It was a gift and I don't feel i've defiled my body for getting an ear ring. God knows my heart and he knows I did not attempt to defile myself when I got ear peircings in. the Nose ring was completely selfish so I understand the sin in that.

God Does Not Speak To Me

My Friend, God is speaking to us. Sometimes, it is not what we expect or maybe want to hear so we tune Him out. As far as the bad things. Gods ways are not our ways.When I was younger I would often wonder why my mother or father may do something that did not make sense (to me), but as I have gotten older I know understand the things that I could not before. We walk by faith and not by sight leaning not to our own understanding but trusting that God is God and everything is used for His glory. If you dont understand, pray and ask God to increase your faith and your knowledge. He is just and faithful to help his children. I pray that helps you.

Does God Hate Divorce

God tells us what He hates Psalm 11:5 Proverbs 6:16-21 These are things God hates, stay right with God and He will guide you to do what is right. God will always take care of those that seek Him and that seek to do right despite the bad. God is not condeming but loving He condems the sin not the sinner trust in God in your self. Husband Wants Dirty Talk

What has God said to you. I think there are things I can do but other feel are wrong and try to tell me that I am wrong but God hasn't told me that. I think we need to test all things by God it is sometimes good to seek advice, but who's advice is above God's. Sorry if that is harsh but God will come in love to us where we judge each others actions. Tell God how you feel and He will listen and then help in those feelings. I am a Christian man who was asked to leave my home by a cheating spouse, and then sued for divorce. I failed to respond other than in a passive way (no paperwork)After a 1 year period I went out with a large girl, having only previously gone out with beautiful petite women. God blessed this decision on my part not to follow my previous pattern. My girlfriend has become the most beautiful girl in the world to me. See Matthew 5:34-37 Paul's Opinion: According to Paul, if you are a Gentile Christian, you are to not to "observe" a vow! See Acts 21:23-25. My thought: What is worse? Breaking you vow, or disobeying Jesus and Paul? Conclusion: To experience freedom in this area, repent for disobeying Christ's command, and find comfort in Paul's conclusion. Jesus will forgive you! Wearing Jeans To Church

About jeans in church, I grew up in the Episcopal Church in Nags Head, NC and we have a sign in the front of our church that says "Fisherman come as you are". The point of it is that God is not a fashion critic although some people may be, Our Lord God is just happy to see you there in worship and not just there looking like your coming off the red carpet to impress the fashion police. It's what's in your heart while there in worship, NOT what's hanging on your skin. Hope this helps.
