Eloy ... I don't think you have read what I wrote! If you have never sinned, (as you seem to claim) you are innocent, and don't need Jesus. But scripture says we have all sinned, and thus we are not innocent (except that Jesus has now rescued us, and we are counted as innocent) Being "counted as innocent", or "treated as if we are innocent", is not the same as "being innocent" We all deserve punishment, but God will not punish us by separation from Him, not because we are innocent in our own right, but because Jesus was punished in our stead. Jesus never sinned, so never deserved punishment. Yet God punished Him by separation and abandonment for ALL our sins.

Rhonda ... the use of lots of BLOCK CAPITALISED UPPER CASE does make it much more difficult to read, and to my mind gives an impression of aggressiveness. Pastor Jim used the UPPER CASE a lot, but I think he has listened to me and uses it much less now, & his posts seem much more friendly. But as soon as he lessened his use of the UPPER CASE, you seemed to increase yours! I do think that bold type and/or italics is better, and is certainly easier to read. And of course, if you look at the "House Rules" at the head of the blogs, you will see no 3 which indicates some restriction on caps.

Lookig at Eloy's post, the most important sentence is: The important thing is that he is coming, and the question is: when he comes, will you be ready or will you be left behind? Whether there is or is not a "rapture" or when it happens, pre, during or after trib ... that is not for you to worry about. When you die, you won't have time in the maybe millions of years before you come face to face nwith God, to prepare your case & your excuses. You should be ready at all times.

Eloy ... You misread me. I did not say there are levels of innocence. I said "no matter how innocent any Christian, or other, may feel him or herself to be, they are not as innocent as Jesus was" None are innocent, so none deserve to be spared punishment. But Jesus was innocent, so deserved no punishment, yet took all ours. Were you ever punished at school for things you had done? Were you ever punished for things you had not done? Which hurt more?

Eloy ... I agree that a person is either innocent or guilty ... but none is innocent. You may regard yourself as innocent ... but you are not, because you needed to be saved. Unless you say you NEVER sinned. Like every other human, you have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That's biblical. So you deserve punishment, just as I do. But Jesus never sinned so He did not deserve any punishment. He took upon His shoulders all the punishment that was due to you, to me, to Atheist, to Jerry, to MarkV ... everyone on this world who has ever been & whoever will be. That's a huge amount of punishment and all undeserved. And you say you suffering is greater than His?

But do you really think that RCs are so stupid as to think that Jesus remained a baby? I had not considered China when talking about those countries that could help America in the future. Eloy ... no matter how innocent any Christian, or other, may feel him or herself to be, they are not as innocent as Jesus was. So the injustice of what they suffer is not as great as the "injustice" that Jesus willingly suffered on our behalf. And none of them have taken on the punishment for the sins of the whole world. Jesus did that. Have you been punished in that way? And Jesus's suffering was not just temporal (of this world) which is all we have suffered, but was much greater than that, because it was separation & abandoned, forsaken by His own Father God. As He cried "My God, why hast thou forsaken me" Have you ever been forsaken by God?

Mima ... "Having traveled around over some of the world and seen their attitudes rest assured no one will come to the aid of America" Mima ... You could not have had your eyes open on your travels. What country is there that would be able to come to the aid of America? She is still the wealthiest & most influential nation in the world .. and still will be during the depression she will lead us into. How can anyone else help her? The danger is that with her military power, she will try to steal from the poorest and weakest in oder to maintain and extend her economic superiority.

Eloy ... I am not saying Jesus is still suffering, and I am not talking about our temporal physical or mental pain & illnesses, or stresses & disappointments of our lives. I am talking about the spiritual suffering of Jesus being abandoned on the Cross, and separated from His Father, (""My God, why hast Thou forsaken me?") to bear all the punishment for me, and you and all other humans. Eloy ... did Jesus suffer to save you? If He did, how could He save you by suffering less than you? ...or save me, by suffering less than me? or save the whole world, by suffering less than the whole world? If He did not suffer to save you, what did or has He done for you?
