I paddle my stepsons who are 14 and ten and i will continue until they are 18 (unless they leave home). Corporal punishment is discipline and not abuse when fair and legal. I was caned which was brutal. |

Sabbath is a covenant gift from God for His bride. Marriage and Sabbath were the only things Adam and Eve could take from the garden. The word ABBA is in the Sabbath for a reason. When adopted by His Spirit we are born again. The Sabbath that God calls us to keep is the law described in Ps 40:8. The commandments to be inscribed in our hearts...Yes,the same commandments of Ex 20. The feast sabbaths are obsolete. The Law written on the fleshy tablets of the heart was spoken on Sinai. Daniel says that the little horn power will think to "change times and laws". Beware when we say peace, peace where there is no peace. Peace is in Him and resting as He commands. Not as man dictates. |

Sackcloth means: run to and fro. It is talking about the weaving process of this unrefined fabric. The word is used to describe wild beasts that move restlessly to and fro. It represents an admission to the untamed and restless nature that cloaks the human soul. Ashes are represented as final punishment and death. This is also an admission of a condition of death, punishment and unregenerate nature of ashes. I.E. you can do nothing to revive ashes. So, the whole picture is one of displaying outwardly what exists inwardly... humility. |

Why Was The Sabbath Changed

We are saved by grace because we break the laws of God. The 4th explicitly calls the seventh day the Sabbath of the Lord. Sin is transgression of the Law rooted in unbelief. Our sins put Christ on the Cross, His love for us kept Him there till He paid the price of our sins. We are to repent of our sins and walk as sons and daughters of the living God. |

Addicted To Pain Pills

Whew! This is a tough one that I deal with myself... Addiction is a stronghold and must be dealth with in prayer... I don't know if enough women realize the power of a praying woman - expecially a wife!! Confront him with his behaviors - not his addiction and you might get a wedge in. If we are confronted with our addictions, we will fight tooth and nail. Behaviors can't be argued with. Remember - Paul the Apostle admonished us to "do all things in love". Pray... pray... pray and may God grant you peace and mercy (you and your husband!) Amen. |

I Want To Believe In God

I considered myself a Christian until a couple of years ago and I have been fighting this a lot over the last couple of years. My family is protestant and my girlfriend of seven years is Catholic. I just don't believe or don't know, so I guess I claim ignorance, therefore I now consider myself Agnostic, but I don't like it. It is way harder for me to be this way and I think it would be so easy to say I was a Christian, but I just can't believe the bible. I don't believe Jesus was divine and I don't believe his mother, Mary, was a virgin. I don't see how there could be so many religions and "mine is right, yours is wrong". I just can't make myself believe these things as much as I want to. I hope one day I can really believe. |

Our Lord says: if you seek you will find. He does not give you what you do not seek after. The Bible is inerrant in its original form. The King James Scofield Reference Bible shows words, phrases, changes that were included later, after the original texts were written. Do you think that the same God who has every hair on your head counted is also capable of giving you His absolute truth if only you seek after it in earnest, no matter what has happened over the past 2000 years? He'll be happy to guide you if you seek, instead of passively asking questions like most of us sinners do, and ignore God most of the time. |

Should We Mourn For Sinners

Bible says: If we say we have no sin, we make Him a liar. Therefore, I mourn for sinners who do not recognize themselves as such, since they are self-righteous, like the Pharisee who said: thank God I am not a sinner like this man. So, why not comfort someone with the Gospel of salvation and eternal life, which is: whosoever believes that Jesus paid the penalty for their sins, has eternal life, just like the malefactor on the cross, who did not earn or deserve it, received eternal life as a Grace Gift from God, through childlike faith. |

Is Salvation A Process

Yes. The Bible is explicit about this. Read Jesus words in John 3. Repeatedly, He says the one who "believes" in Him has everlasting life. The malefactor on the cross was the last PERFECT example of this grace gift of God, since he did not earn or deserve eternal life, yet he received it. It is faith, and not our morality or even adherence to the hundreds of commandments of scripture. God's will is to follow His commands, yes, but this is for the one who has salvation already, since he follows God's will in appreciation for the FREE gift of salvation, which he ALREADY HAS for eternity. |

Christ answers this question for every sinner in John 3:18. It is faith in Christ alone, who received judgment for every one of your sins and mine. No person would ever have been saved throughout the entire Bible, if their salvation related to sin. David was a horrible sinner, yet God said he was a man after his own heart. Why? David had faith in God and the coming Christ who would cover his sin. Look at the malefactor on the cross for ALL ANSWERS to who can be saved, regardless of their sin. Those who learn to please God through morality are those who are already saved by FAITH ALONE, and do the will of God in appreciation for His GIFT of eternal life, which cannot be earned or deserved. |

Now tell me, would you really let a difference in religion end a loving relationship between a man and a woman? So what if he isn't Christian, he has the right to believe and say whatever he wants. I think the bible is made up too and I don't go around judging Christians. Why can't we all just respect each other and live in harmony? Recently Cheated On My Wife

When a spouse commits adultery they absolutely have to tell their other half! No excuses! Trust me, I know. I cheated on my wife and I debated telling her, but the Holy Spirit convicted me and I had to tell her. It has been a very rough road and the hardest thing I've ever had to go through, but our marriage is better because I was honest. Also by not telling your spouse, you are leaving the door open to commit adultery again. The bible says "confess you sins to one another and you will be healed." God is so good and he can heal any marriage!!!! God is a Holy God, but until the unfaithful spouse comes clean, God can not heal your marriage. Trust God with you life and with your marriage. Amen! God is so good and all the Glory is his! |
