	Rhonda-- If you worry about your nearly grown child being abducted...teach them tactics for self defense! If you worry about them being influeced by some cult.... Ground them thoroughly in their beliefs. Prepare them to explain to anyone what and why they believe. (esp. if going to college) You cannot follow them everywhere.

Am I Part Of The Remnant

Alan, ask God if you are. He is the ONLY one who can assure you and know you are. Many of us want to believe we are part of His Remnant, but until I began asking the Lord if I am, I just wasn't sure. And to be honest, if the bible tells us there is no one righteous, not even one, then wouldn't it be God's place to let us know if we are or aren't? If there's no answer from heaven, start asking, "What can I do to become part of your remnant?"

Healed Us By His Stripes

Bob, this is a subject I have been studying for years. I have heard we walk in healing, we have authority to command sickness and disease off of our bodies, but even the most admired men of God get cancer. I'm speaking of Dr. David Jerermiah. I believe that when Jesus went to the cross and shed His Blood for our sins, that IF we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. John wrote this after the crucufixation and resurrection. So we still gotta confess our sins and repent of them to be cleansed. As far as healing, I think it goes alot deeper than what I have studied - I need enlightment in this area of my life so I can't comment, sorry.

Another Great Depression Coming

I have no doubt that the United States of America is going down the tubes. Another big recession will hit and the stock market will not recover like some think it will. God is not interested in healing America's economy. He is interested in healing our hearts. America got themselves bankrupt, why should God bail us out? If you live under Psalm 91 and believe it and have a very intimate relationship with God, HE will provide for you in every way! Believe and trust and pray and obey and Worship Father God.

Tricks Of The Devil

There are some great answers here and I want to add something please. I have seen with my own eyes the trick of the devil is to deceive human beings and get them to believe a lie about God. "Hath God really said you shall not eat the apple?" Eve's biggest mistake was when she talked back to the devil. She should have walked away from that serpent the minute he said that. Why did Eve believe the serpent? and not God? It caused her to take of the apple and eat. Remember, Eve was walking in the Light with God when she was deceived...YIKES, it's true!!! BELIEVE ONLY what the Word of God says. Memorize it. Obey it. Forgive, turn the other cheek, pray, worship, etc.

I Need Christian Friends

Christie, I will be your friend. Here's something to encourage you. For a long time I kept praying and asking God for a friend whom I can trust, one who doesn't shoot false accusations at me. So I prayed and prayed and begged God, then a situation happened in my life where I needed someone to take me to the hospital. I didn't want any of my current friends to, so I asked my neighbor whom I was hardly friendly with. We bonded in that emergency room and she calls me everyday and we are bonding each and everytime we talk. I made a new friend and never ever dreamed it would be her. Pray to God for a new friend. Jesus is a friend who sticks closer than a brother, but I understand you want a human friend too. Pray and ask.

I Am Afraid Of Death

Anna, I just got out of the hospital after being in there THREE times. The second time I was in for 9 days. They told me I was going to die. I said, "OKAY." You are afraid because of fear of the unknown. Do you have eternal life? Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God, the Messiah? Then you have eternal life and eternal means never-ending. Your body goes to the grave and your spirit ascends to heaven. Get a copy of Jesse Duplantis DVD called Close Encounters of the God Kind. He describes what heaven is like, what they do up there, lots of good things he talks about...it will bless your socks off!!

Why Do You Believe In God

I believe in God, but now I know Him intimately. I began to talk to him when I was 16. I am now 51 and when God started answering my prayers, forgiving me for my sins instead of punishing me which is what I expected, I was blown away at the amount of Love He was pouring out over my life. I talk to Him and pray and worship Him everyday. He responds to that. When God responds to you, it is awesome. For you Jason, since you are an athiest, the bible says, "Taste and See if the Lord is good." If I were you, I'd pray, Lord shoe me that you are real, please give me a sign or do something special for me to show me you are alive today." And He will answer you in His time. God Bless you.

I Am Mad At God

Does God Draw People

Many are called, but few are chosen. God is constantly drawing people. I have been a friend to people showing them God's love for years and they resisted coming to the Lord and still haven't. I have given people the gospel and they resisted and don't believe and are still far away from Jesus. The ones who are interested and WILLING to come to Him, God draws them, and when I meet someone like this, I disciple them until they can walk with the Lord on their own.

Cyber Churches Gaining

If you are TRULY yoked to Jesus, TRULY following and obeying His Word, praying everyday, worshipping Father God, Jesus and Holy Spirit, and you want to minister or share what God has instilled in you with people on the internet, it's okay to do so once in a while. However, the internet is the prince of the power of the air. You will get alot of fake people on the internet. Users. People who will not be sincere, etc., God desires TRUE fellowship with His children, not through a computer.

I Am Mad At God

Don, you should be mad at the devil. Jesus told us, The thief (satan) cometh to steal, kill and destroy (our lives). Did you call out the name of Jesus when the car accident happened? Did you lay hands on her in Jesus name and say, "Rise and be healed in the name of Jesus." Did you pray at the accident for her to live? God is in the business of raising people from the dead, why woud he kill someone? He doesn't-but satan does. Get yoked to Jesus, not to a church, that's why you have been let down. As far as financial ruin goes, do you tithe? Do you pay your bills on time each month or do you live on credit?

How To Be Close With Jesus

What do you think? Of course Jesus will mingle with us in heaven and not just sit on His throne. Do you just sit in one chair in your home? That girl will know whether or not she has the Baptism of the Holy Spirit if she begins to read the bible and understands what it's saying. "He (the Holy Spirit) will teach you all things. She will have power to love the unlovely people. She will be able to forgive people. She will speak in tongues if she wants that gift. YOU SHALL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUIT...the fruit of the Spirit is love, peace, joy, kindness, patience, long-suffering, self-control, etc.,

Divorce Over No Sparks

Troy, is your wife following the Lord? She wants what SHE wants, "She told me to move out" is not what a Christian woman who loves the Lord would say. She should go to God and pray, "Lord, please give me a new and fresh love for my husband. I don't have sparks for him anymore but I want to because he is my husband will you help me Lord?" That's what she needs to pray. If she files for divorce, she cannot remarry as long as you are alive. So she's not even reading the bible NOR is she following the Word of God. Jesus said, "If you love me, You'll obey me." Read all the scriptures about marriage in Romans and what Jesus said happens if she divorces you-she is considered an adulteress woman.

Thoughts On Jakes And Hinn

Darlene, I have always LOVED your responses and this one is such a right-on, accurate response. We are yoked to Jesus, not to a church, not to a preacher. Have you ever heard the saying, eat the chicken and spit out the bones? Meaning, take what the Holy Spirit teaches you, if anything from preachers, and if it doesn't sit right with you, ignore it. Let the Holy Spirit be your teacher and your guide as to what you should learn and where you should go to be fed. The bible is the best place to live!

How To Be Close With Jesus

God is in heaven on His throne. Jesus sits at the right hand of God. The Holy Spirit dwells on in us. Start reading the Gospels. Start with John. Develop a love relationship with Jesus by talking to him, telling him what's on your heart. "Jesus, I want to be close to you, HOW can I do that?" The disciples asked Jesus, How should we pray? So why can't you ask, how can I be close with you? Join a Spirit-filled church with spirit-filled believers who love the Lord. Let them teach you the word of God until you learn how to study it for yourself. It's like developing a relationship with a new friend. You talk to them. You share things with them. Draw nigh to God and God will draw nigh to you.

Churches That Help The Poor

Has anyone had an experience like this? My church is small, but we used to regularly help quite a few families in the area with ongoing needs. Often we donated household items, paper products and cleaning items, childrens clothing and auto repairs. Sometimes we gave cash for certain needs. Unfortunately, one poor women innocently told her social worker (who asked if anybody else was helping her) that we were helping her. What we gave her was not a lot, but she almost lost the government help she was entitled to. And we had the IRS investigating us. Should we have formed a "charitable organization"? We just wanted to help as concerned neighbors.

Women Teaching In Church

If God can use a donkey to talk to a prophet, then God can use anyone to do anything. How's that for a very general answer? Did God use Deborah to run a nation in the book of Judges when every king turned evil against God? Did God use a harlot to protect the two who went to check out the land? Paul said, a woman should not exercise authority over a man and should keep silent in the church. We take this scripture out of context to mean a woman cannot teach at all. She can teach, she just shouldn't exercise authority over a man.

Is God's Grace For All
	Jesus died for ALL. God so loved THE WORLD that He gave His only begotten Son. It doesn't say God so loved only those He predestined. God's Grace is for all. "Whosoever may come, let Him come to the water," If you are willing to come to Him, then Come. His Grace is for EVERYONE.
