Church With No Cross

Removing the cross from the worship space is a big mistake. The cross, or better yet, what the cross represents, is the very grace and power at work on behalf of the world. Rather than remove it, believers need to be educated or re-educated as to its meaning. It is an integral part of our Easter story, not merely a symbolic gesture. It testifys to teh life-giving pwer adn grace of God. Rather than remove it, we ought to it as the vehicle of our salvation.

Adam Or Eve Caused The Fall

People, I am sorry, but reading this makes me think that not one of you understands the Bible on this matter. As I remember, Eve accepted of the fruit with the promise of being like God, and therefore better than Adam, if she partook. Then, she reminded Adam the she was given to him as his wife and was going to be thrown out of the garden because of it. As such he had been given the responsibility, by God, to take care of her and protect her. The only way he could have done that under the circumstances then existing was by also eating of the fruit. This he admitted having done and added his reason for having done so, that is not blaming but stating a fact. The real sin was that Eve became the head of Adam, as most women do today, lead the man.

Married Man Found Dream Lady

I have been married a long time too and my sweetheart has changed a lot over the twenty plus years. She is abusive and was once a drug addict. She has really hurt me in many ways but I had to give that to God. You should never cheat against your marriage. If you are really unhappy with your wife then just focus on God. God is what life is really about, not your wife alone, or a love life, or any material goods, or anything on earth. Get involved in the church or get another job to use up the time with those idle hands. Dump the girlfriend, she is poison.

Funeral For A Non-Christian

I never realized until I became Pastor of Care how much a funeral service could be an out reach. When I do a service for a non-christian, I let the family say everything about the one who died. I don't make any statments about them. I try to find some way to connect with them in my remarks, then I talk about the three resources we have to walk through the loss: Family, Friends, and Faith. If I don't know anything about their faith, I share my faith. I have seen several people show up at Church following non-christian funerals. Many of them are searching

Wearing Pants To Church

Would you tell a newcomer she couldn't wear pants in your church? Would you not then teach the truth of the bible as it is written for men and women to see for themselves without offensively fingering them out in the Holy temple of God. Should women wear pants out of church? Holiness comes from God, when you have the likeness of Christ (Holy Spirit) in you then the sins of judging people and anger depart and you become convicted and willing to do that which is God's will, not yours! Love is the greatest of all virtues, seek it in yourselves for all people in the name of Jesus Christ!

Can I Be Mad At God

I have to admit that I am angry at God. I am truly at a point in life where I am ready to lose everything I have, including some things that He gave to me. Surely its my fault- I know that. But the more I have prayed and prayed for help and guidance, the more I get nothing. He is ignoring me. Its His right to do with me what He will, but I am frustrated because I have done what I think I am supposed to do and yet no response, no help. Maybe He is breaking me down to build me up, but it makes me angry that it has to come to that because I have asked for help over and over. Anyway, Job was quite angry with God and was saved in the end, so I don't think its a sin.

Pray To God or Jesus
	It's only through Jesus that we can have an intimate relationship with God and call Him Father. By accepting the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the atonement of our sins, we are sinless and acceptable to God.

Joyce Meyer's Is A False Teacher
	I personally don't agree with everything that Joyce Meyer's has to say. Christians should first rely more on prayer, reading their own Bible, and attending church. This will help in their own personal relationship with God (through Christ) before trusting a T.V. preacher.

Who Do I Tithe To

Tithe is Greek for tenth. One does not tithe if they give less than a tenth. God wants us to tithe so that he can further bless us and others (Malachi 3:10). This verse also mentions the word "storehouse" and "house" which may be referred to as a Church or Temple in the OT. The NT (Luke 6:38) explains that the measure you give is the measure you get back. So if you give much you will receive much and vice versa. Having read the above, one should feel cheerful to give the full tithe.

I Am A Prophet

Rod, you may want to read the one I left for Danelle. All men have a right to believe what they want. 1Corithians 14 also says that if a man see himself to be a prophet, let him acknowledge the things that I say for they are commandments of the Lord, verse 37. This man may be a prophet. I am not one to judge. But when he gets on here and starts calling my name, I will find out. Book of John chapter 8 verses 49-51 says I tell you I have not a devil, but I honour my father in heaven and ye dishonour me, for I seek not my own glory, I know there is one who seeketh and judgeth. Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

Can A Woman Be A Pastor

Laodice of Revelations chapter 3 verse 14, means "PEOPLES RIGHTS". Some people think that we are living that time, but, I myself have to agree with the apostel Paul. 1Corithians, 14 verse 34. Let your weman keep silence in church, for it is not premitted for them to speak, but if a man is going to put himself in that potion, he needs to practice what he preachs, meaning, he needs to keep his mouth shut too.. I hate to sound rude, but thats just my opinion. We have a little sister and she hath no breast, what do we do for our little sister in the day when she shall be spoken for.

I Am A Prophet

A lot of people, Rod, will judge, persecute, belittle a man. Shall mortal man be more just than God, shall man be more pure than his maker? Matthew 7/1 says, judge not, lest ye be judged. Just, meaning correct in that verse, NO. Everyone knows that faith without works is dead. My favorite piece of scripture is, Job 32/21, neither let me give flattering titles unto man. Prophecy is a gift, 1Corinthians, chapter 12 says, but the manifestation of the Spirit is given "TO EVEY MAN" to prophit withal. Ephesians speaks of a fivefold ministery, but who am I but a mortal man. Just remember, prophecy is "A GIFT" not a calling. It says that knowwhere.

Poor People Make Good Christians

If you could correlate poverty with piety then every poor country, where Christ has been preached, would florish spiritually. However, just because people are poor doesn't mean their more selfless or ready to sacrifice for Christ- the little life we precieve them to have. In contrast, history demonstrates that the order and stability which Christianity nutures leads to national prosperity- and this state lasts about a generation before worldliness and rebellion increase.
