Satan Cast Out Of Heaven

Jesus spoke of the accuser of the brethren being cast out when He (Jesus) was lifted up from the earth. "Now is the judgment of this world, now is the prince of this world cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto myself. This He spake signifying the death He would die."

The devil is defeated by the resurrection of Christ. As you live in the truth of the life within you, you experience the overcoming power of that resurrection.

Break Off An Engagement

Think about it like this: if he can't honor the very covenant he says is of God, how will he ever honor you as his wife? It is really convenient to use the name of God to have marital relations and then walk away from them as though God had nothing to do with it. God is a covenant God and does not change. It is better to let him go and believe God for a real God-honoring man who doesn't use God's name to make fornication okay than to live in a loveless relationship where the man is obligated to be with you because of his deceitful mouth.

Is God's Grace For All

It is not called the mercy seat for nothing....and who needs more mercy than the poor wretched man who has no hope of eternal life without Christ? It was the religious "holier than thou" crowd that Jesus rebuked over and over and pronounced woes upon, not the sinners. He, who was and is the express image of God in bodily form, ate with sinners, healed them, ministered to them...and gained entry into their hearts by His love and compassion. You'll never rescue the perishing with a watered down, added to the law gospel that condemns the very ones Jesus came to save.

Is God's Grace For All

And don't forget that the verse right after John 3:16 is John 3:17. "He came not into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved." If God cannot get near a sinner because of his sin, then you cannot get near a sinner because of his sin because God is in you. Some of the gospel I have heard on this blog is the very thing Paul spoke of. He called it "another gospel which is not another" but simply a perversion of the true...and he rebuked Peter for his backsliding into Judaism when he started acting contrary to the true gospel of Christ.

Thoughts On Jakes And Hinn

Excellent Darlene, especially since none of know Jesus so well that we are the sum total of all the truth in and of ourselves. Paul, after years of ministry, signs and wonders, notable miracles, pastoring, evangelizing, mentoring, fathering, experiencing supernatural deliverances from his enemies, and seeing things happen in his lifetime that most of us wouldn't even dream of (because of lack of knowledge or flat out unbelief) cried out, "Oh that I may know Him, in the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable to His death if by any means I may attain to the resurrection of the dead." We are to dare to walk by faith in those things but won't last through any of them if we don't know Him.

Is God's Grace For All

The wrath of God was poured out on Jesus at Calvary. He became sin and the curse, reconciled man by that death, and placed salvation within the grasp of all through faith. It is the goodness of God (which is an aspect of His grace) that leads a man to repentance, not His wrath. The sending of the Holy Ghost by the Father is testimony to God's acceptance of the blood of the sacrifice. And the presence of the Holy Ghost in the earth among sinful man was affected by that blood. And it is the Holy Ghost that convicts sinful man of THE sin (not sins) of unbelief. The only thing that gets a man in is faith. The only thing that keeps a man out is unbelief.

Is God's Grace For All

If sinful man could have no "contact" with God Himself (through the agent of the Holy Ghost), he could never be saved because it is the Holy Ghost, who is of and one with the Father, who convicts. It is by grace through faith, not by faith through grace. God's part toward man came first, not the other way around. Don't you know that God is always first in everything?

Your doctrine is not the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The gospel is "good news", not the sinner gloom and doom news you are putting out there. I would be scared to death of the God you speak of.

Enoch Walked With God

If you walk with God (by agreement), there will come a time when you are not because He is, nothing left but Him. That is what it means in Galatians 2:20 where it says, "Nevertheless I live, yet not I but Christ that liveth within me." I am convicted every time I say the word "my", as in "my" personality, "my" mood, "my" life, "my opinion", "my" choice......and the list goes on. The walk of faith will take you to all "His".

Is God's Grace For All

If it was for the obedient, it wouldn't be grace. It is by grace we are even saved, and there is no obedience to God before salvation because of the sin nature of man. In that shape, no man seeks after God, every one has turned to his own way.

Husband Cheated On Me

It is not so much about getting the info out of your head. It is about your reactions to the info. It is one thing to forgive, it is another to trust. Think about it like this: does Jesus have to die again for him to be forgiven? Are you going to react to the information or respond to the Spirit of God within you? The plucking of Jesus' beard and the smiting of His face was for redemption from every social injustice done to (and by) you. You can rest in His cheeks (which are a bed of spices) and release the forgiveness you yourself have received of the Lord or you can hold on and become bitter. Only one of these is the fellowship of His sufferings.

Explain John 16:8-10

Amen, Josef. The sin of the unbeliever is unbelief. The righteousness of the believer is Christ, whom the Holy Spirit testifies of.

What Is Jesus Waiting For

Again I say, kath, that you don't know me and if you have to revert to slurs and comparisons, perhaps you should look in the mirror. You don't see people the way they really are. You see them the way you are.

Anne, thank you for the encouragement. I am believing God for the release of the expression of Christ through the sons of God in such a way that everything that flows out of Adam will back up because of the walk of the priests. It isn't the talk, it's the walk.

Today's Biggest Sins

It is the life that now is and the life that is to come. It will be hard to live in the life that is to come if you don't live in the life that now is. One builds upon the other. Kath, if you think I am putting the body above the Head, you don't know me.

What Is Jesus Waiting For

Steveng, if it takes the return of the Lord to "restore all things", then how can He return to restore and remain in the heavens "until the restoration of all things". That doesn't hold water and contradicts the Scripture. The truth is in the heavens and true in the believer. The darker it gets in the world, the more light that arises upon the church, or do you hide your light under a bushel and refuse to let it shine? Light always makes the greatest impact in the greatest darkness. The dominion Adam gave to Satan has been restored to man through Jesus Christ. We may be waiting on Him but He is waiting on us just as much.

Today's Biggest Sins

Mark: and then He cleansed the world with a flood, a picture of Christ and His death. That ark landed on Mount Ararat, which means "the curse is reversed". After the flood, Noah lived 350 more years. Altogether he lived 950. God said 120 years. Noah lived 350 more AFTER the judgment of God fell on the earth. Why didn't God just give him 120 more years? After all, it didn't take him long to get drunk after he came out of the ark. By the judgment of God (the flood), the wicked were taken and the righteous were left. And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Son of man.

Today's Biggest Sins

Mark, if you don't stop at Genesis 6:3 to try to prove your point, you will find that Isaac lived 180 years. Jehoiada lived 130. Terah lived 205 years. Ishmael, the product of Abraham's unbelief, lived 127. Aaron was 123. The only one I am finding recorded (so far) who lived exactly 120 years was Moses, the mediator of the law, the ministration of death. That speaks volumes. Those like Abraham and Jacob, it is said that they were old and full of years and no age is given. Genesis 6:3 is not supported by the rest of the Old Testament, especially among those who were in covenant with God or who had a specific revelation of Him.

Corporate Worship Blasphemy

"those who have Gods Holy Spirit DWELLING in them would not need a group of people to understand HIS presence"
---Rhonda on 10/25/09

While this may be true to a point, there are some things that cannot be experienced alone. I love the presence of God. He is with me always. The truth of that does not change even when I don't "feel" Him. And I love the body and being gathered together unto Him with others who love Him. The upper room experience was not done with just one person up there. There had to be many people in unity. Now, there are two assemblies. There is the general assembly we have been brought to (Hebrews 12:23) by the Holy Spirit. This includes all believers.

What Is Jesus Waiting For

"being swept away with the error of Baalam"

Do you even know what the error of Balaam was? It was an opportunity for gain to curse God's people. That is a far cry from what I am doing in speaking blessing to God's people (I don't see God's people cursed) and I don't get paid a thing for doing it. All I get is persecuted, just what Jesus told me to expect.

Today's Biggest Sins

"Have you seen the false Christ raised among the Gods people? Who even does signs and wonders among us? Matthew 24:24"

Jesus said in verse 34, "THIS generation shall not pass away until all these things be fulfilled." He was speaking of a generation not even born again yet because He had not yet died and rose again.

Are we of that generation? Are any of them still living? Or are we the generation of Christ? Jesus was speaking of the temple in Jerusalem (v.2). He said, "See ye not all THESE THINGS? There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."

Does God Forgive Sin

Rex, it is not that you COULD BE forgiven but that you already are. You simply need to believe and receive the work that Jesus has already accomplished on your behalf.
