Claim You Are Christian

Donna, you are so right. What I notice is that when I oppose one doctrine with someone, if they get angry, later they come on on another doctrine and oppose you there together with the others and kind of form a gang to show you in force they do not like you. Some people for just one view, they get angry. They should know by now that none of us agree completely with each other. That God reveals His Word at a different time to each one of us. But they don't care about that, their anger is stronger then common sense. One lady here wanted me to go against Jim, just because I disagreed on another topic. Had nothing to do with the topic we were now talking about. This are Christians supposely.

I Am Mad At God

Eloy, the only reason people are innocent in heaven is because Christ paid for their sin. They were not innocent on earth. They deserved justice but got mercy.
You were not innocent, and neither was your wife. But you are still mad at her because she ruined your dreams, it was all about you. And when you got sick and was born again, again, you continued worse then before. Two rebirths and no change. Get down from the holy seat you are sitting on and get back to reality. Be happy God gave you a wife and kids, and that they are living and healthy. Thank God for giving you breath in the mornings so that you can wake up. Otherwise you would be facing the real God of Scripture.

Who Are God's Chosen People

Trav, the answer to your questions is simple. Here is your questions:

"What does the biblical reference to "God's Chosen People" mean to those who are not "chosen"? How are the "non-chosen" set apart? Any ideas? "

Here is the answer to the first question, "Nothing." To the second "by not been chosen"
How is that for an answer? To the one's not chosen will mean nothing since the none chosen don't believe in God anyway. They are set apart by the election of God. In their case they were not elected, so not chosen.

Forced Into Good Works

There is no one good of himself for everything good comes from above, Righteousness come from Christ, holiness comes from God. What does God command us? to be Holy, to be righeous, to be good, and where do we get all of them, from God. No one is holy of himself, no one righteous of himself, no one is good of himself. It all comes from God. If anything is not of faith, it is sin. God commands us to grap ahold of all He has to offer, and shows you that without Him you are nothing but a vessel of clay for dishonor.

Am I Part Of The Remnant

Exzucuh, that was a clear explanation of what the remnant is. All who are a part of the body of Christ are the remnant. Whether in the past age, this age, or the age to come. The remnant are those who stay loyal to Christ. The overcomers, the Church.

Belief In Dispensationism

Kathr/Ralph, you continue to deceive as before. If you deceive by name, how can anything you say be creditable? Nothing has changed. You want to pretend you are someone else but as I told you before you have not changed You still discuss the same topics, use the same excuses, put down many verses to proof a point and while doing it, you change the meaning of the passages, and put your own spin on the passage, and as I can see, others have seen the same thing. Maybe Samuel doesn't recognize you but how could I miss you? You see, you cannot change who you are. Only God can do that.

Xmas Is Same As Christmas

Pastor Jim, I really like most of your answers everywhere and agree very much on most of them but here I believe you are mistaken. What I see you doing is, you want to convict us of sin by telling us what is sin. But you cannot convict a heart. Only the Holy Spirit can convict us of sin. That is why I send you to Romans 14. Here is how Paul ends the messege,
"Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves. But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith, for whatever is not of faith is sin." I don't doubt my faith or question it. I do know God knows my heart.

Blotted Out Of Book Of Like

Michelle, what it means is that if you do not overcome, you are not an overcomer, and if not an overcomer, your name will not be listed in the book of life. All the names of every single overcomer is listed in that book. If it's not there, it will never be there. If its there it will always be in there. If it was removed because of some action you did, then God would have made a mistake and He never makes mistakes. Only man make mistakes.

Does God Change

Miche, Please read my answer again and again so that you can learn something today instead of arguing about God as you do over an over. It is written in English, maybe not perfect but well enough to be understood.

I Am Mad At God

Eloy, the problem with you is that you don't want to take any responsibility. Most people where the same thing happens to them, go around telling everyone how innocent they are and how terrible their spouse was. Everything is the other persons fault. Never take some responsibility and always justifying their own actions. God puts them as spiritual leaders and they cannot handle their own responsibilities.
That would have been even accepted, but you brought the death of Christ on the Cross and even Job. We can even forget Job, but why Christ? How can you say you love Him and demean His death? How can you ever compare yourself to Him? You are nothing but a vessel of clay prepared for honor or dishonor.

Women Teaching In Church

Lets get something correct, God never changes, period. His nature, character and attributes remains the same yesterday, today and forever.
In the case of God changing his mind, it is because of His attitude towards sin, His attitude toward sin and righteousness is unchanging. When dealing with men He must change His attitude as men turns from sin to repentance. His character remains the same, but His dealings with men change as they change from the position that is hateful to His unchanging hatred of sin, to one that is pleasing to His unchanging love of righteousness.
In most passages where that happens, the word "if" is included. God already knows what decision is going to be made.

Does God Change

Worth repeating, God never changes, period. His nature, character and attributes remains the same yesterday, today and forever.
In the case of God changing his mind, it is because of His attitude towards sin, His attitude toward sin and righteousness is unchanging. When dealing with men He must change His attitude as men turns from sin to repentance. Xmas Is Same As Christmas

Pastor Jim, sorry that Romans 14 didn't make an impact on you, I thought it would.
You said, "It is not the OT sacrifies of the animal that was the theme in Sam15. But the taking of known Pagan Practices and appling them to worship God."

Jim the theme in Samuel 15 was disobedience. He rejected the Word of the Lord. Instead he obeyed the voice of the people.
Saul needed to see that his real worship was indicated by his behavior and not by his sacrifices. He demonstrated himself to be an idolater whose idol was himself. He had failed the conditions (v. 12:13-15) which would have brought blessings on the nation. His disobedience here was on the same level as witchcraft and idolatary, sins worthy of death.

I Am Mad At God

Tommy, thank you for the advice. I let it go for a long time and then I see him answering the same way. His never forgiven his wife, and never stops comparing his life to that of Christ and Job put together and it burns me to hear him say such things. And then talk real holy and the love of Christ, what a hypocrite. I don't think anyone has ever effect me in anyway as Eloy. For I never heard of such a person saying what he says and calls himself saved and loving Christ. What kind of person would cut down the person the say they love so much? The same thing many husbands do about their wives when they are among friends. They cut them down to get a laugh at their expense. No difference whatsoever.

Marry My Hindu Boyfriend

Jody, you are not suppose to get it. Nana was not even in the same topic as you were. You were in not marrying someone from another religion as commanded by God through Scripture and he is speaking about been prejudice agains't others in death. That you would pick Christians over others, and let those others die because of who they were.
He connected both topics to send you a message as to how wrong you are. Didn't have anything to do with marriage at all. Don't try to figure it out Jody, you cannot.

Xmas Is Same As Christmas

Mark E, the same answer is to you. What you feel is sin you should not do. What I feel as sin, I should not do. You and I could see some things different. I believe as part of the body of Christ we should not judge another as Romans 14 tells us. "I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself, but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean."
In the case of Pastor Jim, to him it is wrong to celebrate that day for Christ. He is convince in his conscience it is. If he was to celebrate it, he would sin, if he goes against conscience.

Xmas Is Same As Christmas

Mark E. 2 continue: In 1 Cor. 10:27, another example is given, differently "If any of those who do not believe invites you to dinner, and you desire to go, eat whatever is set before you asking no questions" Here there is nothing wrong with what is set before you if you don't ask. "But if anyone says to you, this was offered to idols, do not eat if for the sake of the one who told you, and for conscience sake" in the context, even if you are the quest of an unbeliever and don't want to offend him, it is better to offend the unbeliever and not eat for the sake of the weaker Christian who would be offended to eat. Since love to other believers is strongest witness we have (John 13:34,35).

Is Islam The AntiChrist's Religion

Islam is not the only antichrist religion or the only antichrist in the world.

1. 1John 2:22 "Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is antichrist"
2. 1John 2:26 "These antichrists are trying to seduce us away from Jesus Christ"
3. 1John 4:3 "The spirit of the antichrist is already in the world"
4. 2John 7 "There are many deceivers and antichrists in this world"

Are You Following Apostasy

Paul, neither one has convert the other. I myself don't believe it is productive to speak negative about the visible church. What is happening today God already knew from the foundation of the world it was going to be that way. He mentioned it many times that tares would be together with wheat. It is God who saves, it is God the Spirit who brings spiritual life. Our duty is to try to make our church better and witness to people, if we don't know the gospel of Christ we have no grounds to condemn the Church. If it is bad, go to another one. If it is too much trouble then join Steven G. and his group. There is many things wrong in all denominations. We knew it was going to be that way, for God told us.

Xmas Is Same As Christmas

Pastor Jim, I believe Christmas to you is sin, your conscience tells you. Romans speaks concerning the actions of others compared to our actions. Which in turn was an answer I gave Jerry concerning Saturday Sabbath, he honors and I don't. Romans chapter 14. Most of the chapter is about what to eat, but v.5 "One person esteems one day above another, another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind" In your case you are convince it is wrong, so to you it is wrong. To us it is not wrong, and I am conviced of it. "He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord. And he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it."
