I Really Hate My Husband

I just told my husband that I hate him. I feel terrible about it, I can't take the words back, he will always remember that I said them. Why would I say such a hurtful, mean thing? I knew I shouldn't say it before I did - things have been rough for a while now and I do hate how we act and what causes me to feel this way. He won't acknowledge that he has a problem without blaming others or trying to change the subject on other family members and their situations. How can I keep supporting his actions?

Non-Christians Haunt Living

to Eric: most asurredly there is life after death because Christ rose (from the grave) on the 3rd day. He is now preparing a room in heaven for each person washed clean (from their sins) in the blood of Christ. For those souls (persons) who have not asked Christ to be their Savior, will be judged to enter the lake of fire(hell). 'ghosts' are evil spirits(demons), mimicking one (who has died in their sins) to try and lure people into more sin and not to look to Christ for their needs and lives here on earth and eternally.demons do all they can muster to keep people from Christ. It is a spiritual war daily til our physical death and Judgement.

Do You Have Road Rage

Road rage occurs all to common and almost by everyone. Leaving 5 minutes earlier for a meeting has helped decreased my anxiety
when I need to be on time for a meeting.
Of course, when I make a driving blunder,
I mouth the words, I'm Sorry and then smile.

I now get a little more sympathy from the
rager.

Scripture To Prove Hell

There is a very good book that will answer all one's ?'s of what happens after death. It is "Where are the Dead" by Karl Sabiers. It is old and out of print but can be found online by searching out of print books. Everything he says in this book is backed up by scripture. There definitely is a place where souls go when they leave the body. Speaking to believers Paul said "Absent from the body...present w/the Lord". 2Cor. 5:6-8. As for non-believers there is a place for them too. Read Luke 16:19-31 about Lazarus and the rich man. Not a parable. I'd recommend this book for anyone w/?'s.

Will Pets Be In Heaven

Check out Genesis 9:5. God is speaking: "I will surely demand an accounting from every animal. And from each man, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man." Why would God demand an accounting from animals if they don't go to heaven?

Genesis 9:9 - God says "I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you and with every living creature that was with you." The covenant was for both animals and man.

Ecclesiastes 3:18-21 says that man's fate is like that of the animals-both die and both return to dust. vs 21: "Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?" Sounds to me like no one knows for sure.

My Husband Does Drugs

I am about to leave my husband of 25 years. He is an alcoholic. When we married, we were not saved. He did get saved, but he has turned back to his beloved alcohol and walked away from doing the things of God. So now I am left with no choice but to leave. I believe I am an enabler. I prayed about this to God and He has let me know that I have endured enough pain in this relationship. God told me that I am not a savior and only He has the power to restore. So even though I am leaving, I am leaving with that in my mind, that God still has us both in his hands. He can restore. So I ask that anybody that reads this, please pray for me and my husband. His name in John.

Pray For Chad To Marry Me

Oh, honey. God hears all prayers and answers all of them also. You may not be hearing is His reply. When you pray perhaps you should pray for yourself to hear him better than you have been hearing Him. I do not wish to tell you how to pray nor do I usually condone praying for one's self before others yet this might be the method in which you can find the best results. He has indeed answered your prayers. Could you have missed His answer?. I have resorted to using this way of getting my prayers answered and have been greatly awed at how quickly He sends his prayer answers back to me. It is my responsibility to be always prepared for the answer either way when I get it. Just know that you may not like the answer you got from Him. Keep praying.

What Is A Seeker Friendly Church

I agree with that Mima - it's all about "me" in that church. "I" can be a better person, "I" can feel good, what can God do for "me". WRONG!! It is the other way around - it is not about me at all, it is all about God and what He wills. Our whole country needs to get off the self-centered kick that it has been on, quit implying that truth is relative and that whatever works for you is the right way. People are perishing and this theology will not help them - they need to hear the truth - they need conviction about breaking God's commands - all of them. We need people to be repenting and changing.

Christians Casting Out Demons

In Luke 10:19, Jesus gave us authority over all the power of the devil. Casting out demons was roughly 25% of Jesus ministry and further that ministry was passed along the disciples and so on throughout the bible. Any bible-believing, Spirit-filled Christian with enough faith absolutely can cast out a demon. I have seen it done and done it numerous times. We hold huge retreats of 500+ people where that is what the whole retreat is about. My only concern would be whether or not all Christians should be casting out demons. There is a critical element to this and that is making sure that house is filled back up with the Holy Spirit so that demon cannot return 7 times worse. Luke 11:26 and Matthew 12:45.

Is Harold Camping Correct

Goodness, that is ridiculous. You would be going against the bible if you stopped going to church. The bible says that we are not to forsake the assembling together. It also says that we are part of a body that needs all its parts to operate correctly with Christ being the head. How crazy to say that we should stop coming together as a unified body and functioning as such. The bible also states that we need fellowship. That is what church is really about. Now I am not going to be legalistic and say that if you don't go to church you aren't saved or anything like that, but it is like being baptized, not required for salvation but required for obedience to God.

Who Is The One True Church

Goodness, this is a blog that could go on forever. My two cents in this is that there are things about the Catholic church, as with any that go against biblical teaching. #1 - Idolatry - Mary is an idol. Jesus even went so far as to point out that her role was relatively insignificant when He was told that she was present at the meeting. Someone in that crowd tried to make significance out of her having bore him in her womb, and His reply..."Blessed better yet..." Doesn't sound to me like someone we should be worshipping. In fact, I am 100% positive the only one that we are to worship is God. #2 - Communion - cont'd

Bible The Only Authority

It is that thinking that can and will lead this country to its grave. The bible is the ONLY authority for Christians. Without it, you cannot know what God expects, His character, His commands, how to live...nothing. Without it you have NOTHING. Jesus read it, quoted it, taught from it...if it was good enough for Him, who are we to say any different? I wouldn't go there. I know that many people in our society use this excuse to scapegoat their unbiblical beliefs and desires to go against biblical teaching, but I think they better reread Jesus words where he says "depart from me, I never knew you."

Divorce My Lazy Husband

This is a tough situation, but you are called to honor your vows save for one exception - infidelity - so yes you are expected by God to honor your husband, pray for him, encourage him, and love him, even when he is unlovable. The bible says to "love the one you marry, not marry the one you love" this to imply that God recognized we wouldn't always be happy and blissfully in love, but we are to choose love even when we don't want to. We are called to love the unlovable in all situations.

Nightmares Mean Not A Christian

The proper term for what you are suffering is "demonic oppression". A Spirit-filled Christian cannot be demon possessed. Light and darkness cannot dwell in the same place. However, what this means is that somewhere in your life or in your generations, a door was opened that has licensed the enemy to torment you. You find the event, problem solved. I participate in a ministry called Cleansing Stream that was founded by our denomination's president, Jack Hayford. The whole ministry, while it is often referred to as a "deliverance ministry" is dedicated to helping believers get rid of their baggage and that of their generations and learn to walk in the Spirit and live victoriously in Christ.

Is The Pope The Real Deal

I will not apologize, but I agree with Mark. The RCC has removed the 2nd command to not have idols because it has so many. Not to mention, as he said - WE are the bride of Christ - jews and gentiles alike. Dig deep into Catholocism and pray for the truth to be revealed to you. You will find the answers you seek. Be a Berean - search the scriptures and compare it to what you know about the RCC. The pope is just a man - no better than any of us. We are all sinners - "all have sinned and fall short of the glory" ALL. Jesus is our mediator, not the pope and not Mary. That is blasphemy.

What Is A Seeker Friendly Church

A seeker-friendly church is one that preaches that "God is all love", "grace is all there is, no consequences", you will never hear them talk about sin or repentance. They are trying to grow in numbers by appealing to people who want to live with one foot in the world and one foot in the church, hoping they are saved. You want all the information in the world on this subject - do a little research on "the emerging church" There is enough there to keep you busy for a while.

Slain In The Spirit Biblical

The biblical definition of "slain" is dead. If you are slain in the spirit, you are dead. There is no other definition of this term in the bible, so slain in the spirit as most people intend for it to mean is "extrabiblical".
