Enoch Walked With God

After Moses ascended Mt.Sinai,the people counted him for dead...the entire affair being a recapitulation of an event that already took place...specifically Genesis 5:24. However, the Word of God was mistranslated by the writers of the King James Version Bible when they wrote:"By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death..."(Hebrews 11:5). The actual text should read "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see corruption...", unless of course it is appointed unto all men once to die except Enoch!

Void this teaching from His lips? Right? Ah, not this time!

Obedience To Your Religion

Hebrews 7:12 The Priest hood with their blood sacrifices and what they illustrated was changed to be fulfilled by God's High Priest and Blood of the Lamb, Christ. This is the new covenant, but only in this sense of meaning. This is why God being all powerful, has not reinstated the blood sacrifices and the temple and a man priesthood for two millenniums!!! Christ now fulfills this. No more of man's temporary imperfect priesthood! Animals, man could never fulfill the role of a priesthood sinless blood atonement. But the rest outside of the blood of atonement remains in effect for us to walk after to keep, with faith in Christ! Christ lips say we are to keep even the least of the commandments, Matthew 5:19!!

Corporate Worship Blasphemy

Christ will be king of Israel, and the Israelites. There is no Pentecostal, Greek or Jew. Lets make the terms match with what our Father calls us! Do not add and subtract from His Word! Deut 4:2, it makes things more confusing for you! The Jews who BELIEVE in CHRIST are no longer Jews. They are Israelites, some dont know this! The Law was given to the Israelites. I respect TRUE Jews having their place in the history of God's people. But there never was Jewish Law, but only the Oracles OF GOD! The torah OF GOD! Dear friend worry about being grafted into the root the spiritual Israelites born of God, like Moses, David, Abraham etc. Who kept the faith and Gods Torah/ teaching/instructions.

Hinduism vs Christianity

I dont mean to start out as a cynic, but this reminds me of a bunch of car salesmen trying to pitch Jesus. The reason for Christianity is this: - God who created the world (Genesis 1:1) - God created laws (Ten Commandments Exodus 26) - We broke the law (Romans 3:23) - God is just so he must punish those who break the law - God is loving, that he knew we could not pay the cost of our sins (death, Romans 6:23) - God sent his Son to pay the price for us (John 3:16) We're born with a conscience, and we know that we are not perfect. We know that we have done wrong. The Bible answers the questions about how we got here, why we are here, why and how the world was corrupted, and how it will be set right again.

Recently Cheated On My Wife

I cheated on my wife but my circumstances I think were unique. She became sick about 8 years ago and we drifted apart because we were unable to sleep in the same bed because of her then breathing problems and basically were seperated while living in the same house. Relations were maybe a couple times a year and I strayed because I had gotten the attention I had longed for from someone else when my wife wasn't willing to. She is coming around, getting herself back on track and I will not be telling her that I strayed. It only relieve my guilt and destroy her. She is back to the person I married 13 years ago that has been missing and telling her would ruin all of her progress. I will however confess my sins to God and ask his forgiveness.

What Is The Pride Of Life

I think that the pride of life asserts itself when we loose the biblical perspective of "our righteousness is as filthy rages"..."it is in Him that we live and move and have our being"..."our frame is dust"..."all we have gone astray"...In other words when we loose sight of the fact that we are the created and not the creator and that it is the creator that has the final say in any matter. Can A Catholic Marry A Protestant

My girlfriend is protestant, and I am Catholic. When we met we didn't focus on religion other than telling each other that we believed in Jesus Christ. As we became more involved, we opened up and expressed our faith. We have grown apart and a breakup seems inevitable. It's really sad because she's perfect in every way to me and I believe she feels the same about me. Isn't it funny / ironic how Christianity is actually separating us, rather than bringing us closer together. I even started questioning my faith. How could a loving God allow two people who are made for each other, become broken up due to a different christian belief. I guess it's God's will. One that I may never understand.

I Suffer From Depression

I have suffered from acute depression, and I was on medication for two years. I finally stopped taking my medication as I believed that it was starting to make me ill. I now put all my faith in God. I do not know what God's plan is for depression, wheter to take the drugs, or to rely on faith. The one thing I do know, is that I am held in the hands of God. He has my heart and he loves me. No matter where I go, what I do, or how I feel. God's love does not change, it is constant and the love we have for one another is pale and insignificant compared to the love God has for us. Lean on that, anxiety, depression, fear these are tools of the flesh, use them to get closer to God My he Bless you, Heal you, and shine his love upon you.

My Pastor Is Spreading Lies

I sugest you get an elder, decon or board memeber to meet with you and the pastor and discuss this. Over a year after I was deceived by someone in authority an assitant pastor said I needed closure so he set up a meeting. I was well prepared and the person involved tried to manouver out of it in the meeting. That is brief. This was something that had to be exposed. I know it is hard to deal with something like this because you think others will think you are causing division.

The words "Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me" refers to the father's protection of us from the world, and from ourselves. Shame is painful like incarceration. While a child is young he or she may respond to nothing else but physical pain (that isn't to say injury, either physical or mental). Continually check your intentions to ensure you are causing neither. An older child understands future consequences like grounding or the loss of privileges. Stop spanking then and use these. You receive different opinions. I think neglecting to discipline is abusive and others think spanking is. I have nine children and three were adopted from truly abusive parents. This is no popularity contest do what your child needs.

Do people honestly think that Jesus Christ or a mature disciple of Christ would be preaching alongside Hinn and Cerellos ? The thought that RT Kendall is even remotely a honest person is ridiculous. He is supposed to be a grown man. I am shocked at how brainwashed and foolish people are to be supporting religious people who are obviously raking in the cash and fooling the masses! Shame on us! Is Remarriage Adultery

A marriage is supposed to be based on a man and a woman who TRULY are in love with each other. It should be set according to the parameters that God has outlined for us and it takes a very special mind-set to really understand what it takes to make it work. You have to be mature enough and know deep down in your heart that you can spend the rest of your life keeping the marriage fresh. When this isn't the case, divorces take place. God understands that we make mistakes and when we ask for forgiveness, He gives it. God intended for everyone to have his or her perfect mate. Why? Because a happy marriage is the nucleus of a happy family which is the nucleus of a happy neighborhood which is the nucleus of a happy city, etc...

Should Christians Be Perfect

Adam and Eve, before the fall of man were perfect. I truly believe that at the time of our first breath, we are perfect. The imperfections of the world affect us as we grow older. You shouldn't concern yourself with trying to be perfect. God sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins because He knows what we are up against in this world. God is only concerned with us living according to His Word and commandments. With this in mind, there shouldn't be any "degrees of perfection" as you say. As Children of God, we are all the same. God loving, forgiving, and blessing us, despite our imperfections, further demonstrate His love, mercy and forgiveness. Only God is perfect!

Bible Say About Hypnosis

I am a Christian and a hypnotist. I pray for God to give me wisdom to help my client and I pray for them. I suggest we apply the test Jesus gave. Paraphrasing he said that a good tree can't produce evil fruit, and an evil tree can't produce good fruit. The fruit of my effort is to help people give up smoking, lose weight, and lessen pain and suffering. Where's the evil? Jesus himself was ridiculed by the religious crowd of his day for healing on the Sabbath and casting out devils by the prince of the devils. Just because religious folk are against it doesn't make it so! It is scriptural however that if you believe it to be sin, Don't do it! The Apostle Paul advised this but called those enslaved to legalism the weaker brother.
