| How Can I Save My Marriage | |
2. I think the rest of my original message got cut off. All I was saying is basically now with my wife out of the house, all I'm doing is praying, praying, and praying. I've been hearing pastors on the radio constantly talking about this, and I'm taking their advice and spending a great deal of time on my knees. It's a daily process to entrust this to God, but as others have said, it's all we can do, but it's more than enough. Prayer changes things, and even if my wife does not come back, it's drawing me ever closer to Christ. I will be praying for all of you in similar situations, and especially for the children involved in this.
| How Can I Save My Marriage | |
1. Wow, it truly pains my heart to see so many involved in this situation, even more so now because I can directly relate. I've been married for almost 5yrs 9 months, and found out mid-Sept my wife has been having an affair since about mid-Jan of this year. When confronted, her initial reaction was I checked out of the marriage before I even met the guy, and my relationship with him is so deep it won't be broken. Fast forward through many painful weeks, and she has now been out of the house since Nov 1, when I asked her to leave since she wouldn't give up the affair.
| Obama Gives Muslims Power | |
October 23, 2009 Please review the contents of the upcoming Copenhagen Summit (Dec 2009) ordained as a Global Warming summit. In this summit the cleverly disguised plan is for Obama to hand over the Soverignty of the United States of America to a One World Power, which can tax at will any country with a large global carbon footprint, meaning the USA, who will take control of America by taxing it out of existence, the wait for the change Obama promised in his political speeches. There will be no more US Constitution for us to fall back on. What more do you want to know America.
| Are Mormons Christians | |
NO...A Mormon is not a Christian. Their theology is a deception and a blind bondage for many well meaning persons. Although Mormons maintain good family values, simply being good doesn't get someone eternal life. Man's righteous is as filthy rags in the sight of God. Only the Blood of Jesus and a Heart's acceptance as Savior makes the difference. Adding to God's Word is condemned in the Book of Revelation. An example is the Book of Mormon. Mormon theology also discriminates against non-Mormons visiting their religious churches/temples. Whereas Jesus invites all!
| What Is Jesus Waiting For | |
Is it that important to know exactly when Jesus returns,or rather is it more important to live each moment as if He would return at any time. If you have an intimate relationship with Christ now, spend your time being obedient to His Word. It seems someone who has something to be concerned about or fear regarding His coming, might be overly concerned about His return. Believer, He is walking right now with you. Jesus said in John 14:23 "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our abode with him" (NAS). (Says the same in all translations) Keep it simple. Serve Him with obedience while here. An awesome privilege!! Quit debating. God reveals all things when He is ready.
| What Is Jesus Waiting For | |
A day to the Lord is as a "1,000 years and a 1,000 years is as a day to the Lord". God, the Trinity, Jesus is not confined to time as we experience. It has no effect on Him. The simple answer is that Jesus has and is waiting for you. Jesus has an appointed time for all He does. He is simply not waiting. For our sake, we are to live our lives as though He will appear at any moment!!!
| Why Am I So Lonely | |
Angela, as challenging as it my seem...take to heart God's promise "delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart". The first desire is to obediently do His Will. Daily prayer, obedience to His Word with more effort than what we do to please ourselves. By placing God first in all matters, feelings, thoughts and attitude....He puts us first. Praise Him daily, be thankful for the very basic..Jesus' sacrifice specifically for you... As you want to do the best for your children, isn't God's desire to do the same and more? It is.
| Why Doesn't God Talk To Me | |
Christians can often see an error of another, however prayer comes first. People have different life's experiences including hurts that we may not know. We must be ever sensitive to the Holy Spirit's direction. The Lord could very well be at work in another's life and is gently bringing forth changes. Church goers can be dogmatic. Jesus is not so. He's compassionate without compromise. God is much more patient than we. His compassion differs from our self righteous reactions and "batting practice" with scripture. Remember, Jesus prayed to the Father during His suffering and torture "Forgive them for they do not know what their doing"...its something to reflect on.
| Can't Speak In Tongues | |
There gifts of the spirit, speaking in tongues is one of them...there is no where in the bible that says everybody that is a christian will speak in tongues. "THE FIX"!!! What fix are you looking for? Sounds to me like your looking to the world for the fix instead of looking inside yourself...search your spirit and the scriptures,or maybe that gift is not for you and your trying to force it to happen?
| Can't Believe In The Bible | |
It is a walk of faith, if you truly want to believe in the bible you really need to seek out JESUS and no body else. Christians are only here to show you the way, the Holy Spirit will give you the understanding.... without faith we as Christians are nothing.I can show you the way but, you have to make the effort to trust in the WORD of GOD. Not everything is meant for us to understand
| Lack Of Physical And Emotions | |
Show him what you need from him. Set the example, talk to him and find out what has changed from the time y'all where dating and getting married. Also read 1st Corinthians chapters 7 & 13 and cross reference them out so that JESUS can help your marriage. Most of all make time for y'all chat, walk, what ever turns y'all towards each other...TRUST IN JESUS is a must!!!!!!
| Earth Without Form Or Void | |
Well, you have to follow the nuclear physics involved in God's Creation, in what we now call the Big Bang: First, God created everything. But there was no mass, no solids yet in this void! (Certainly, it was a "mighty wind" in the Big Bang.) Then, this energy (this creation) cooled down into light. Then, the light energy cooled further into mass - particles and dust that we can see: and, thus ONLY AFTER the energy cooled down from light into solids were shadows possible: separating the night from the day. Re-read Genesis and you'll see this sequence. By the way, until plants appear, the atmosphere was opaque and so the stars and moon (although created) were not visible for navigation.
| When Did Dinosaurs Live | |
No conflict: The sequence of creation in Genesis follows what we are taught elsewhere: Life began in the seas, then birds (now known to be either descended from dinosaurs or separated evolving with dinosaurs) were created. Only after the seas and birds (dinosaurs) were created did mammals (domesticated animals as they were known by these ancient shepherds in Israel) then man, come forth. Remember in your criticism that the Bible is made of stories, poems, histories, commands and religious rules, kings, parables, and the Truth as we learn It by faith.
| Why Does God Love Us | |
Eloy, Just because we choose not to accept God's love does not mean that He does not love us. Just because He has punished the wicked does not mean that He does not love them. If we choose to say that we do not know Him (meaning, we do not accept that Jesus is God made flesh) then He will choose not to know us when the final judgement comes. He sacrificed His only Son. He bore the punishment for our sins because He loved us so much.
| Are Demons In My Home | |
probably, yes... we war not against flesh and blood..spiritual wickedness in high places...so that is why we have to put on the full armor of God every day
| Are Demons In My Home | |
we wrestle not agaynst spiritual wickedness..its a daily war
| Spanking Young Teenagers | |
No. Josef and ABW are correct. Sriking an ad- lescent is not a way to deserve his or her respect. >If a parent is strong enough to force this type of punishment, he or she is being abusive to do so. >If a teen is big enough to resist and would obediently submit to corp. punishment, then it is oviously not necessary. >One might think "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" should especially apply with one's own children - at any age.
| Is The Anti-Christ Alive Today | |
Fully agree with Alyssa. Whether the Antichrist is alive or the end of times is here, is irrelevant. Important is to live your life and try to follow Jesus/Yeshua's example (The Lord knows his own name, he won't mind if we use the wrong spelling) Live a good and decent life, and all will be well for you. If God required us to use the exact spelling of His name, he would make sure we do, He is almighty, remember? He is not some petty human with human anger and demands, He is almighty, and all powerfull. This also brings up the question, why would there be an Antichrist? Does a strong adversary who can do things that God does not want exist without God's explicit wish? I think not!
