Holiday Party Drink
	We're human. When Christians are made to be afraid to do anything for fear that everything fun is sin, they began to lose their joy and are at much greater risk of turning away from the faith. There are people who will tell you that even a glass of wine with dinner will damage your spirit. Not true. A drink now and then won't kill you, nor will it send you to...well...you know.

Is A Spiritual Covering Needed

Paul said to follow him as he followed Christ...I have been in the situation, the pastor was in sin, trying to blame his wife for it. I came to the conclusion, we are to submit to each other, and the pastor is to have a group of ppl he is accountable to. Personally I do not follow any one person. I have the understanding the we all have a "pulpit" not always in the church on the platform...and our call is to share the word of God...the pastor, no where in scripture is to be a ruler over a body of ppl. The bible clearly teaches a "team leadership" the one man directing the church is a mans ego trip deal...nothing more

How Much Should Pastors Be Paid

I am a new Christian. We attend a small church that is hurting. When I say small I mean like 25 in attendance and 6 of those are kids. I don't understand why our pastor gets paid or even accepts it. He and his wife both have jobs, plus he recieves a check from being in the navy. Service lasts no longer than 45 minutes. No church on wed., bible study at parsonage on wed. but no one goes. The people in the church are older people that have attended there for many years. He's been preaching for about a year. I have a bad feeling and starting to think that everyone else does too.

I Hate My Husband

I understand how you feel. I have been married for 21 years to a man that only thinks about how wonderful he is and how much money he can provide for his family. I guess that is his brand of "love" but like yours mine is never home, and if he shows up at the house all he talks about is work. I started school last year and he had a heart attack 2 weeks before finals so I couldn't finish. I have been totally devastated that the only plan I had to support me and my 4 kids was ruined by his non-stop workaholicness.

How To Witness To A Mormon

Please pray, pray, pray. they are truly misguided and think they have the truth. I was a Mormon for 50 years, After I left I learned the truth. It has been a difficult transition and they don't have to denounce their belief to be saved. Once they are the holy spirit will teach them the truth, with a little help from their friends. How To Say Leave Me Alone
	There is a reason you are there. Sometimes I have to change my own attitude in an uncomfortable situation. Correcting someone in Love is not unGodly, but Loving you neighbor as yourself is the second command of God. I would look at the positive aspects of this person and love them even if you must stay in constant prayer to do it. God Bless You ^i^

Having Problems As New Christian

You need a mentor(a mature friend) who would be willing to work with you and help you through the valleys. And there will be many more to come but the Lord will see you through if you hold on and do not become discouraged. The Christian life is not for the faint-hearted. You will get stronger as time goes on. You can also talk to your pastor or a Christian family member who is caring and compassionate. Bless you.

Neglecting My Husband

Your emotions are out of control. You need to be less dependent. Some women forsake all of their friends, family, everybody for that man/boyfriend. You have a dependent personality. You are expecting much more from these people than they are able to give back to you. Develop more hobbies and diversions and you won't be so dependent on others for your happiness. Jesus is the best friend you can have,by the way. He is never tired,upset and he loves so good. Try Him. You will like Him.

Take The Spiritual Gifts Test
	Consider that Solomon's gift was wisdom but it wasn't given to him until he asked for it. When I became painfully aware of my lack of love and compassion for my fellowman, I asked God for this gift. Although I can still see some evidence of this defect of character in me. Many people have told me that I am a very loving and compassionate person. This amazes me. God be praised!

Affair With My Wife's Sister
	Kevin: I'm sorry honey, but there is no way to justify the cowardly coverup of an affair. I don't care what boss or relative committed the affair, there is no way to white-wash it. The best thing that can happen is that you learn from this tragedy to prevent it from happening again.

	There is a marriage section on CN. There are several blogs about this same issue there. Is this your first marriage? Why did you marry this man? Are you equally yoked? Do you marry a short time ago and are you making him miserable?

God Takes Bad Christians Home
	I don't know God's motives for allowing some people to die sooner than others but it could be that had they lived, they would face terrible adversities. It could be that others begin to take life and their salvation seriously when contemplating the death of someone they knew. Just thoughts... We can rest assured that all things work together for good to them that love God.

Is The RCC The Beast

The Bible gives many clues to help us identify the beast. Careful Bible study is needed. Particularly of Daniel chapter 2 and 7, and Revelation 13. 2 Thess 2 tells us that this mystery was already at work in Paul's time. One thing is that it will be a great deception! The Bible describes the whole world marveling and following the beast and worshiping him. The worship clues us in that it will be a religious power.
