I Just Became Unemployed

Believe me I know it can be tough to lose your job. I am currently in the same situation. I lost my job in January due to the recession as did 25% of the employees who worked with me. Although I've been on several interviews I still have not been hired. At time's it can get depressing but just keep your faith. It will get better, believe it! In the meantime try and make the most of the time you have. I do it by spending more time with my kids. I wish you luck in finding a new job quickly. |

About To Marry A Non-Christian

As a pastor and a man, I can tell you that marriages of this sort rarely remain happy. I have good friends that were going to "Change" the non-believer, who wound up quitting God to please the non-believer. Also the Bible states that the wife is to be in subjection to her husband. That is hard for a Christian woman to do with a non-believing husband. He usually (but not always) will try to arrange things to keep her away from her Christian friends and church. Although there are exceptions, this is usually the case. God deserves a complete Christian Family rather than part of a Christian family. I suggest a lot of prayer and Bible study. Then find a Christian man who daily proves his love for God! Prayers for you! |

If a Pastor, Priest, Minister etc., can not and will not have full transparency of their true income, then what are they ashamed of? They often preach that if what you are about to do, you would not do with your wife or parent present, then it is wrong. If you are hiding it from them, it is wrong. Well, if they can not and will not openly display their true income, it is wrong. How could such a "man-of-God" live in wealth while even one person is suffering? I suggest that all that "seed" money be sent to organizations such as St. Jude's Children Memorial Hospital or The Shriners where EVERY dime is used towards the benefit of those in need. Where children suffer and ask nothing. Show me your income, I will show you mine. |

Yes, a woman can, does and should teach. By far, women have taught man much and much by their example. Men and women are equal in God's eye, so why should man say they are not? Why should man judge who is the better? Judgement is God's territory, not ours. I have learned much from men and women, both good and bad. And I have learned much from the examples set by those who did not even realize they were setting one. |

Salvation is a free gift. All we have to do is accept the free gift by confessing Jesus Christ as Lord. Anything we do after that only has to do with rewards in Heaven and blessings here on earth. |

The right thing to do as a Christian is to hold them accountable to a budget. If your daughter and son-in-law are Christians, consider sending them to a Financial Seminar. You need not feel guilty about not lending them money, especially when you can't afford it. Also, God wants us to give when the need is justifiable. So dont always think you have to lend. If they are trying hard to make a living, take the pressure off them and give and dont ask to be repaid (again if you can afford it). It is not wrong to suggest he ask his own father if they are Christians. If unbelievers are involved, then it is a different issue. |

The catholics engage in idol worship period! They worship false Gods period!I was raised in the catholic church until I read the ten commandments and realized that praying to anyone other than God was futile and a complete abomination against what God commands us.I just can't understand why these sheep can't see they are on their way to hell and give up all of the rituals and legalistic practices.God doesn't require that of us,that went away when Jesus came to free us of Mosiac law.Why is that so hard for these people to grasp,my 10 year old can tell you catholicism is a one way ticket to hell. |

Being slain in the spirit is not biblical.The Isaiah reference is thoe only one in the bible and that is speaking of a situation where they were slain by the power of God...killed...not the emotional response you are speaking of. |

This one is easy...the one true church is the body of believers that the bible is the infallable word of God and that Jesus is his son sent to earth to be the only way for us to recieve salvation.He was crucified and was ressurected on the 3rd day and assended into heaven where hi intercedes for us until the day he returns to bring his kingdom into this world. |

If you are both believers in Christ, then you know your first step is to confess the sin to the Lord. Then repentance, if you can do that together that's great. However, at the very least you need to do that. You will find no dating modeled in the Scripture. It is one of the sad secular relationships we have picked up from the world. Paul in the Bible wrote that a man should not touch a woman, unless married of course. We take the blame with you, since the Christian community at large continues to not speak out against dating.
