Always check any alleged quotes because you'll frequently find that it doens't exist--as in this case.

We've had one elder in the church who chewed out the congregation because they would not read Ellen White because she pointed out their sins--these people are also the least likely to read the Bible. Another would recite Scripture from memory during the time we collected the offering.
