Gifts Of Healing Flowing

"Is it the Gift of Healing?"
Perhaps you are manifesting that gift, as one of the signs that we are told would follow those who believe. One graciously granted of the Father through His indwelling Spirit to accompany you in your walk with Him.

"If so how do I nuture it?"
All gifts are nurtured by His Spirit, and brought forth though us for His glory.

Acknowledge as did Peter when the lame man was healed "why look you so earnestly on us [me], as though by our [my] own power or holiness we [I] had made this man to walk [be whole]?.... the faith which is by 'Him', [Jesus], has given 'him' [the once lame (or sick)] this perfect soundness in the presence of you all."
See Acts 13:12-16

Divorce Over No Sparks

"What should I do?" You are the head of your household, maintain that. If your wife no longer wants to be apart of that household, let her leave, alone. If she wants a divorce, there is nothing you can do to prevent her from filing, just be sure that you continue to be the husband and father that the Father has called you to be. Do nothing to excuse, justify, or give her valid reason for divorce, and trust the Father with the outcome of that. If your work schedule and your child's schedule at school differs, make immediate preparations for her care during the interim. Protect yourself and your child for "If any [man] provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith," 1Tim.5:8

What Is Church Of Christ

"Who are the Church[es] of Christ" His body of believers.
"What do they believe in?" The righteousness of Father in Christ Jesus, imputed to those of us who will trust in and rely upon the atoning sacrifice of His Son which will redeem us.
Mark Eaton in response to your inquiries.
Who was Jesus speaking to and about in John 14:1,2,16?
To quote your specific questions "Who is the Father that Jesus keeps talking about? Who is this other Helper?
Answer. The Spirit or Divine mind, character, attributes and essence that sustained, empowered and guided Him during His sojourn on earth. Who in His fulness can not be contained, yet is manifest in His fulness in the bodily presence of Jesus.

Did Mary Have More Kids

Exzucuh, Ruben. Glenn has articulated, in an exposition, what I was thinking when I read your response to my post very well, therefore there is no need for me to share my thoughts concerning your rebuttals. I reiterate, I meant no offense, I was simply sharing an understanding from my own personal point of view.

Is Faith Before Belief

"Is faith given by God before you believe in Christ?" Yes.

Without faith one would believe nothing, least of all believe in Christ. Faith is a conviction of the truth of anything. There is a faith that has been given to every man, a sensually based faith, determined by sensual perceptions of what was, is, or has been tangibly and successfully experienced.
Concerning salvation, that same faith is empowered to transcend the sensual to embrace the unseen. A conviction or unwavering confidence in respect to man's recognized relationship to Father, based upon His Word, principles and promises. Bestowed upon man to receive and acknowledge the redemptive atoning sacrifice of Jesus, and the indwelling endowment of His Spirit.

Did Mary Have More Kids

"Does this verse prove Mary had other children after Jesus?" Prove, no.
However, there is no reason to believe that Mary and Joseph, both being young and virile, would not have had children during the course of their marriage, and as it is written "Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: and 'knew her not' (A Jewish idiom for sexual intercourse between a man and a woman) 'till' (until) she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS." It is obvious from those verses that Mary did not remain a virgin, and there is no mention of her being barren.
Just my thoughts, no disrespect or offense intended anyone, nor any denominational belief.

Space Travellers Be Raptured

The earth was made for man, and man for life on earth. The man who arrogantly attempts to live on mars, the moon or any other planet, while yet mortal, will die trying, and eventually again be resurrected upon the earth.
"The heaven, [even] the heavens, [are] the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. I [the LORD] have made the earth, the man and the beast that [are] upon the ground, by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto Me. And hath made of one blood all nations of men 'for to dwell on all the face of the earth', and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation." Psa 115:16>Jer 27:5>Act 17:26

Blotted Out Of Book Of Like

"Does this mean that if we don't overcome, we will be blotted out of the Book of Life?" Yes.
Therefore recognize just what it means to overcome, and just what it is that we are overcoming.
"whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world:" and "Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"
For "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he in God.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: [those who oppose Christ, and who you are in Christ] because greater is He that is in you, than 'he' [that Wicked One] that is in the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, [even] our faith."

Teaching Just For The Jew

The Law of God was given to all mankind, simply entrusted to the children of Israel, to be demonstrated to all men.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable [to all] for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" Written in earlier times for the instruction of all mankind, "so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."
The statutes and ordinances by the hand of Moses, written on parchment, given to govern His chosen nation has been nailed to the cross, and His Law, written upon tablets of stone has been transferred to the tablets of man's heart and still governs the behavior of His chosen, the light of the world.

What Is The Mark Of Cain

Char I was simply thinking, during the time of my last post, in terms of the uniqueness of His name, note: no one else in scripture has that name, and the only derivative of it is the name tubal-cain. Anyway, I understand where you are going, If allowed by the Mods. I will respond. I say if allowed because at one time you inquired concerning the seed sown by Satan (Gen.3:15) in the garden and what or who that seed was in reference to. I want you to know that I did respond but the response was not posted. Perhaps we can only go so deep in this particular forum:o)

What Is The Mark Of Cain

"What was the mark of Cain?"
Cain's mark was the Father' ominous warning concerning him. "whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold."
This warning would have gone before him via word of mouth, or perhaps as if by Divine Inspiration, as a foreboding omen.
How would they have known him? If not instinctively, by the name Cain.

What Is A Soul

"What is a soul?" Conscious awareness of ones being.

What Is A Soul

Perhaps my last post would be better stated in this way.
'A' soul is one consciously and/or subconsciously aware of ones being (self, life).
'The' soul is representative of the conscious mind, as the seat of ones recognized 'will, emotions, appetites or passions'. (As in "The soul that sins, it shall die.")
Referred to as the "heart" when the aforementioned aspects are applied to the unrecognized subconscious. (As in "The heart is deceitful above all things..")

Explain John 16:8-10

"it appears that the Holy Spirit convicts the unsaved who do not believe in Jesus of their sins [of rejecting His salvation] and convicts the saved who believe in Jesus of their righteousness [in Him, as His righteousness is both imputed and imparted]" Amen.

Time To Save The World

This statement, "That system can not be saved for its adherents deems no salvation necessary." the way in which it is worded, is probably untrue. I do believe the adherents do indeed sense a need to save their system, so what I meant to convey is "they" deem no supernatural intervention necessary. The system, as a whole, is looking to the heads of it's financial institutions, government agencies, or elected officials for answers rather than seeking the Father in prayer for direction, which of course is an alien concept to the carnally minded. However, after the spurious messiah is revealed there will come a time, "when 'they' shall say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them."

Time To Save The World

Jesus came to save the "world" as in the inhabitants of the earth who are alienated from the Father and hostile to the cause of Christ due to an adherence to a sensually based system of things focused on the external adornments, riches, advantages, pleasures, etc of that system. Which although hollow, frail and fleeting, stirs intense desires, and is a seductive obstacle to the cause of Christ. That system can not be saved for its adherents deems no salvation necessary. Therefore as followers of Christ we are instructed to "Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. [For] If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." We are to overcome the world rather than seek to save it.

Explain 1 Peter 1:13

"What did Paul mean about fixing our hope completely on grace?"
We are to remain calm and collected in spirit, as in our attitude, demeanor and habitual way of acting towards and relating to life. Fully expecting the merciful kindness of our Father's Divine influence, which brought us to Him, to carry us by and/or through the revelation, or disclosed truth made manifest in and through Jesus, the Christ, as the Anointed Saviour of mankind. "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men." Therefore our primary Focus should be on "an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for [us] who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation."

My Wife Pregnant By Other Guy

" I am not sure if I can raise another mans child"
Then allow his dad to do so.
"should I divorce?"
You answered your own question with this statement.
"I Love my wife and have forgiven her."
"should I ask for an abortion" No.
"should I take the challenge God has given me?"
If you truly believe the Father gave you the challenge,
then trust that He will empower you to rise to that challenge.

Six Days To Make The World

"We're back to: "I think therefore I am", with of course there is no way to prove the existence of anything other than our awareness of our own personal consciousness."
Atheist you have just defined the soul. Without life there would be no awareness, and only life can bring forth life. Therefore life itself ultimately proves the existence of 'The' foundation, source and sustainer of life. Father has given His children to know that He has life in Himself, John 56:26, and with[in] Him is the 'fountain' [source] of life. Psa. 36:9.
How do we know that is true? By faith, the measure of which He has given to all men. How man chooses to exercise that faith, and where man chooses to place it, 'is' indeed an individual matter.

What Is God's Will For Me

"How do you tell the difference between God's will for your life and your own ambitions?"
The Father's will for His children is that we by the faith of His Son yield ourselves to be conformed to the image of His Son. If my ambition is to aspire to that conformation, then there is no difference between my ambition and His will.
I am instructed to "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit" I am to "Make it [my] ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind [my] own business and to work with [my] hands," If I can honestly say that I am, than I can trust that I am within His will. If selfishness or arrogance is involved in what I aspire to, my ambition is not in His will and therein lay the difference.
