I know what you mean, I also had a supposed Pastor do the same thing to me, even to the point where he accussed me of stealing my own stuff. I had to prove that the items were mine with the actual receipt. I told him he was no pastor and he needed to quit hiding behind the titel for his evil deeds, he then cut his wrist infront of witnesses. |

No nana and mic and others,good people do not get a free ticket into Heaven.I wish they did--I really do.But that is NOT what God's word says.All of us are sinners,we all are guilty of breaking the ten commandments in thoughts,words,or deeds.We will be guilty on the Day of Judgement.But God sent His son Jesus to pay the price for our sinners--to take our death sentence.We are redeemed by the Blood and the Blood alone.Not our outward goodness or good deeds.We must accept His love gift,repent and be accepted because of the Blood.Noone else can get into heaven,no matter how nice you think they are...Sorry....I wish all would go to Heaven. |

Absolutely Betty,Holy Spirit sure did!In fact I am under conviction for not spanking them enough...Betty,the entire Bible was technically written by men...under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.Scripture is God-breathed...So for goodness sake what are you saying?You dont believe the entire Bible to be Holy and God-breathed?There is a difference between violence and Godly-discipline,appropriately administered,given from tough love if you will..without anger...and plenty of hugs and kisses later.Not all children may need the spanking,but some do to break rebellious behaviour. |

betty dont be deceived..spare the rod and spoil the child is biblical.If You say it is not,then you put the entire Bible suspect.Accept all Scripture or none....yes,love is important,kind words,gentleness,spanking should be LAST resort if all else fails,but if thereis a hard headed child,then spanking must be done to stop child from being disrespectful or rebellious.The jails are filled with people who did not get proper discipline.That does not mean you beat them but a spanking on the butt,properly administered,and then to process it later with your child and give plenty of love.No hitting in anger...big difference. |

Jesus had to go to hell to fullfill his fathers plan,he went to hell to get the keys to hell ,death and the grave,at one time God had gave satan power over these places and he miss used them,by Jesus going there he took these powers from him,satan no longer can take us down with him,we now have a freewill to choose where we will go when we die. |

Dont know if animals will be raptured.I pray that they are.But I do know beyond a shadow of a doubt that animals will be in Heaven(either in the celestial city or renewed earth)Eternity is where God is and that is Heaven.Will it be our animals.Many scriptures strongly suggest that this is a real and valid possibility.I choose to rest in that hope.Blessings.... |

I think it does say if you are divorced and husband remarries,you are never to go back to him.Not sure exactly why.But it does.My ex basically financially and emotionally abandoned my children and married another,and consequently has two more children from her.I often wonder in my prayers if I should pray for God to bless their union or not,as my ex was supposedly a Christian at the time of divorce.His new wife now claims to be too.I still feel resentful as he does not help our children.Should I pray for his new replacement family to be blessed? |

God is fair and just.He will not arbitrarily condemn a person or remote village of people who never heard his name.He sees the heart and the future.If they see God in nature and cry out to this "unknown"God(who we do know)I believe that Jesus will reveal Himself even at the moment of their death.Look at Old testament saints who were righteous,they technically did not "accept"Jesus til they were already dead.But Jehovah knew their hearts and dedication and knew it was just a formality,that they would accept him.Maybe folks who have not had the opportunity to know Jesus will be given an opportunity at their death. |

Dear Moderator,she may be a Christian,but sometimes the heart controls the senses,and we dont think it out when we fall in love.I agree though,it is a bad idea to marry one who is unequally yoked.Pray for the man,maybe be his friend,maybe he will find God and maybe someday he will not be unequally yoked.Just make sure the conversion is real and not just made in an attempt to get you to marry him.Marrying him now,could compromise the salvation of your children,if he attempts to raise them in a false religion.It is bound to cause friction. |
