I visited a local church of mine recently and in the morning service a news leaflet was passed out. The leaflet had book reviews because the church also has its own bookstore. They had a review on "Total Forgiveness" written by RT Kendall. The church helper who wrote the review stated that RT kendall presents a confused picture of God and that the book would be dangerous to be read by young believers. |

Is first time I have read a blog-can't believe I am responding. After 38 years my husband's ex girlfriend called us to meet for lunch. They exchanged a few phone calls and emails. I asked him to stop-he promised that he would. Found out 4 months later the phone calls continued in secret-got his cell phone records and found over 80 calls over 18 hours. I am devastated, says he has stopped but he set up a block on phone records so I can't get them. He called thanksgiving, Christmas eve, Christmas, new years eve, my birthday. He refuses to tell me why he called-he "can't and won't tell me what they talked about." My job recently ended, I am 57 years old and I don't know what to do. Have lost 20 lbs and am on antidepressants. |

to Charles. Before you accuse a Christian of misquoting or making up a scripture, you'd better know what you are talking about. First of all you ought to read all of Romans chapter 8. It says in verse four that we are to walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh. You judging Joyce's wardrobe sounds like flesh, not Spirit to me. The verse you accused me of making up is from 2 Corinthians: 5,16, "Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more." I might not have explained myself to your understanding, but this verse backs me up. I did not make it up. You are the one walking on dangerous ground. you have to stop judging people. |

The sin comes in when we act upon those thoughts! and women not speaking in Church...there was a reason for this way back then and it really does not apply now in this dispensation. where is the love? we're not supposed to judge each other's personal clothing styles! I read in these blogs people telling other people to get saved, baptized in the Holy Ghost, and accused of not having a personal relationship with God. How do you know the condition of another man's heart? We don't even know each other! The Bible says we are supposed to know each other after the Spirit, not by the flesh!!And calling Joyce a false teacher...you'd better be careful!! God does not like that.People, we need to see the big picture. Let God do the judging, He knows what He is doing! Judge not lest ye be judged. |

One reason you might feel uncomfortable is because God might be trying to warn you. This man's ministry is questionable and controversial. You might want to "google" his name and see for yourself what people are saying about him. There is a book out called"Counterfeit Revival" by Hank Hanegraff that might be interesting to read. You can get a used copy at Amazon. Also, you should take this website's False Teacher's Bible Quiz. It has excellent scripture references that really helped me. Don't feel condemned. God wants us to test everything. We have to be wary of false teachings even if it sounds good, and everyone and his brother believes it! Pray for wisdom, He will give it! |

I can not believe what person 'junior' has written, a man has no right to verbally abuse or physically abuse a woman, you are Gods daughter who he loves dearly, He wants you to be safe, secure and happy, god will show you the way 'for he knows the plans he has for you', it may not be that you end up getting a divorce, God might have a bigger plan through this, but whatever happens at the end you will become a much stronger woman. |
