What Is God's Will For Me

The two things, (God's will and your ambitions), may be the same. The Bible indicates that God will give us the desires of our hearts, (Mark 7:8) He gave us abilities so use them for Him. There is nothing worse than a wasted ability because we think if we enjoy it, it must be wrong. The first and most important step in doing what God wants is TO MAKE YOURSELF AVAILBLE. God can only use you if you allow Him to.

My Wife Pregnant By Other Guy
	How do you know she's pregnant by some other guy? If you have only been married for such a sort time, why is she seeing another man now? Reads like your problems are more serious than just the fact she got pregnant. Like the moderator suggest - you have to get marriage counseling. But, do so from a qualified marriage counslor who doesn't know either of you.

Is Obama A Traitor

As of this writing, Omba is not a traitor - but close to it. He seems to think he is still on the campain trail, making useless promises. He has no "ear" for the opinion of the majority. He has surrounded himself with a group of advisors who don't know what they are doing for the most part, and many of them have cheated the gov. in some way. I wouldn't suprise me any to see him try to establish himself as world dictator in the future. He tries to make friends with our known foes, and he thinks he can get them to be our friends. But, we are instructed in the Bible to pray for him as a gov. leader.

Engaged To Maybe Christian
	If you have that much doubt, don't marry him under ANY circumstances. Don't get the false notion that he will change for the better after marriage - have never seen it happen that way although I've been doing marriage counseling 33 years.

Why Do People Go To Hell
	While Christ atones for all sin, a person MUST accept Christ as Savoir to have the benefits of this atonement (Which is heaven). And like any gift, it has to be accepted. Any person who rejects this gift from God, therefore only has hell to look forward to for eternal life.

Christian Radio Show Name

The name of the program will depend on your audience and rather it's going to be boradcast on a or Chritian station. Here are a few suggestions: "Your opinion, Please", "You and the Bible", "Is the Bible Real?" Doing on the spot interviews takes much planning. I edited a tape for a pastor once who tried this, and edited out most of it. He asked his questions in such a way the answer given in response was shorter than the questions. He also made the mistake of doing the interviews in busy traffic intersections because he wanted the background noise which was another big mistake. (My BS work was in Radio & TV Productin.)

Can One Refuse Salvation
	It doesn't take any special power to refuse God's invitation. All you have to do is nothing and this is your rejection. The Lord does not force Himself on anyone. Of course, you will regret rejecting His offer of salvation.

How To Make Someone Believe

You can't make someone believe in God! That's the responsibilitly of the Holy Spirit. You can be a positive witness to him by your actions. And, as the Bible states, be ready be ready to answer any questions he may have. (Make sure you are aware, because just his actions may indicate a question.) In this case, you might also ask him what made him reject God. While this remark is at the end of this blog, it's the most important - pray for him and for the Lord to give you wisdom. Have seen it work!

Christians Acting Worldly

There are any number of things that are causing Christian to act more like, "the world". First, there are more things to tempt a Christian now than there were 50 or 100 years ago. Second, many of the churches do not define what is sin is what is not - leaving the Christian to make their own decision as to what is right and wrong. For example: co-ed dorms in collage - when I was in collage, there was no such thing, so a Christian didn't have to decide if this was right or wrong, now they do. (They could read the Bible to get directions, but many Christians don't do this.) On I could go, but this will get you thinking about it.

Is Baptism A Work

Baptism is a TESTIMONY. The only way it could be considered a work is if the person being baptized thought if was required for salvation. It's a testimony of what Christ has done for the person - it's an outward expression of a inward transaction & a promise of the one being baptized to walk in a new life according to the following verse, "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." Romans 6:4 (KJV) e

Continue To Spank My Teenager
	Persons of the age you list are far too old for spankings. There are too many options available that can be employed to discipline, (not punish) a young person. For example: Taking away a cell phone, grounding, curtail of social activities, etc.

Is Lap Band Surgery Biblical

The Bible does not comment on the matter of any surgery. It does make comments on health issues and other matters that may practical in nature. Since God is the one who gave us "brains", it only stands to reason it should be used in deciding matters, both spiritual and practical. Lap surgery is a serious matter and should only be reccommended by qualified physician when other forms of weight loss have failed and the person's health is in danger. There is nothing wrong with Lap Surgery when used properly.

Live Together Instead Of Marry

My personal opinion is they should not be allowed to be baptized or allowed to join a church. All may be above board, but a person's testamony may be comprized because of living together. However, if they are new Christians, tact should be used in telling this couple that the church doesn't allow this. (Be firm, but don't "bruse the fruit" to the point discourament.) Talking to them is the responsibility of the pastor and no one else. (They may consider it not important if it's someone besides the pastor.)

Do Clergy Have Authority
	While clery have a greater RESONSIBILITY for what they may say or don't say what they should have said, they aren't closer to God. They only have the authority for spiritual matters as presented in the Bible, and only over other Christians. Most churches I'm aware of have deacons, elders and boards to take care of non-spiritual matters.

I'm In A Supressed Marriage
	Have you ever directly ask him why he is suspisious and verbally abusive? (Make sure you do this in private, and give him undivided time for his answer. For example: take the phone off the hook and turn off any cell phones.) And even though you say there is no reason - there has to be a reason. You need to consider marriage counseling from a qualified Christian, marriage counselor

Don't Love My Good Husband

Marriage may be all "eros" love at the start, but if a marriage is to last, this "eros" love become, "Agape" love. For the record, "eros" love is an emotional love, and "Agape" love is "I'll love you regardless of what you do" - which is the type of love Christ has. Marriage is also built on "likes". What you need to do is WRITE down what you like about your husband. The 'right' thing to do is stay with him. He loved you enough to remove you from an abusive situation - now it's your turn.
