I know Markv, I apologized to you on another blog. I realized after I had posted that we were essentially saying the same thing. I offer my apologies to you for that mistake. By the way, I was not arguing with you. I never argue with you. You just don't understand salvation is for all mankind. Not my fault, but I pray that God opens your eyes to his truth and not Calvin's. By the way, how do you reconcile the two? How is it you believe God loves all mankind but hates sin, then say God only died for the elect? You and I both know that Christ died for the sins of the world because he says so. So, why do you put the two together when one is the and the other is a lie?

Bobby1, It is nothing me nor kath do but speak what God says in his word. It is perverting the Word of God when saying that Holy Spirit is only available to the saved. How was it you were even saved in the first place if the Holy Spirit were not accessible to you when you were in sin? Oh, you believe the Holy Spirit was in you when God created you right? Wrong. what you say is not God's word. When God ask you why you did not speak HIS truth and why did you condemn people instead of going out and trying to witness and win souls, what will you tell God? Wait, I know, You thought God had already chose before they were born?

Amen Darlene and Samuel. Trav, you make the mistake in thinking that I tell God what to do when really, it is you and others who say God can't and won't let a woman teach, etc., men. God will and does do what he feels he ses fit. If the person doing the teaching is in line with the word of God and is saying what the lord says, then I have no problem with whom ever God chooses. His word says whom he chooses he also qualifies. I have no argument at all with God. The bride God chooses is the Church and you know my feelings on that.

No Ruben, what we are saying is that God says in the Bible is truth. The Bible says she had other children. The argument you have should not with us it should be with those you follow who have mixed paganism with God's truth making it a lie in some aspects. They tell the truth. I know because they trust in the Holy Spirit to guide them and it seems to me you trust in man to tell you which way to go. THat is a gross mistake. Always trust God. Let God be true and everyman a liar. From the time I could read my Bible, I always saw that Mary did have more children. I also was not corrupted by an institutions thinking either.

Markv, If God didn't change his mind, then why aren't those who keep torah BUT not Christ going to heaven? Why are they condemned in their sins? In the OT, all man had to do was repent, and that was working. BUT NOW We have Christ. And to be saved and have eternal life we must be in Christ. That looks like God changed his mind to me. Didn't God change his mind about you? Didn't he forgive your sins and throw them into the sea of forgetfullness and not bring them back up in your face ever again? You must remember that it is God's love towards man that has never changed. God changes his actions to what ever he wants and when he wants. How can you say God can do what ever and then limit him with your words?

Trav, as usual you didn't answer my question. But its alright, you don't have to. I am still praying for you. I pray for all who believe they are the head of any church. We are all to be servants and Jesus himself says that. You keep thinking I am confused when I am not. I am being shown things by God daily. I made a mistake. Just like I did when I didn't finish reading Markv's post. He is right God does change when man repents of their sin. It is God's love that has never changed. Trey, what you have to understand is that GOD sacrificed first. He sent his son to die for ALL SIN. God made the first move, now all he asks of man is for man to repent(turn away) of their evil ways and believe him. Thats not work. Did Ninevah, Israel and others have to repent? YES TO ALL OF THE ABOVE. The Holy Spirit will convict every man of their sin BUT its up to every man to repent of it. So how is that working? How is giving up self will and picking up God's will working when it was already done Before we even believed? You have to take all of scripture but I see you ignore that God won't live in a dirty temple which is you if you have unrepentant sin. Bible says so.

What does it mean that God is an unchanging God? I believe what this means is God's love for man. It is his love for us that has not changed and will never change. Now can he change his mind? Yes he can and he did. Think about it. Before God decided to set aside his wrath, we were all dead in our sins because we could not please God. We were stuck in these old fleshly sinning bodies with no way to be reconciled back to God. After Christ came, the veil was rent in twain and we could get back to God through Christ be reconciled with our Holy Father. Think about what would be if God had not changed his mind.

By the way Trey, stop trying to apply fleshly logic to the Holy Spirit. You miss the fact that God through Christ poured out the Holy Spirit upon all of man kind- ALL FLESH. The Holy Spirit draws all man to God but they can't get there without turning from sin- REPENTING. AND they have to Believe God really did sacrifice HIS SON for their sins. The Holy Spirit doesn't make man believe. The WORD of God speaks God's truth and that is HOW they come to believe. THe Holy SPirit is here to convict sinners of their sins and The WORD tells them to repent and believe then the Holy Spirit Teaches the way GOD wants us to be.

By the way Paul, I apologize for my mistake in saying that God does not change because he did change his mind. That was revealed by the Holy Ghost. Torah points to sin doesn't it? Yes, it does. Since man could not fulfill it, He sent his son to change it. In Christ, man is not the head, Christ is. It is in fleshly relationships, marriage, where man is the head. Men keep thinking they need to represent Jesus in his body when they don't. Christ is the head and God sending him was proof that he changed his mind about us. If he didn't why else would he send his son to die for us and reconcile us back to him. FIX what man did wrong to seperate us from him. God set aside his wrath through Jesus.

Paul, read Hebrews chapter 8. God cut off the old covenant and made us a new and better one through Jesus Christ. If God had not made the first one old and changed it, how could he have sent Christ and why? Doesn't the word say that we cannot put old wine in new wine skins? Matt.9:17, Mark 2:22, Luk 5:37 Doesn't it say that we can't sew a new cloth on and old robe? Mark 2:21 God meant by these that a simple patch to fix what man had torn asunder would not work. He had to cut the old covenant off for there to be a new one. God had to change his mind about man to give man a new and better covenant. Before Christ we could not have eternal life. NOW in Christ, we can. God had to destroy the old vessel and and make us a new one.

Paul God changes his mind about someone when they accept Jesus and come into the fold. He sets aside his anger and we know from the OT that God's anger can be great! Why do you think he sent the Word, his son, Jesus Christ? Because he changed his mind. God took what you call torah and wrote it on our hearts. If you read the Word of God without any religious system TELLING you what it says it would be impossible to be blinded to scripture that tells us Mary was BLESSED with marital relations with Joseph AFTER Christs birth and went on to have MANY children ---Rhonda AMEN! Paul, Answer this.. Why would Paul contridict or do anything against what God had already Done? Didn't God appoint Deborah? She had authority over men when it came to what God says about any situtation. SHe had the ear of God. SHe was the one who said "thus says the Lord". That's serious authority. Now, Timothy writes a letter to Paul asking for guidance about the Church he is establishing. Paul says "do this and don't let women do this and this and this" Going against or changing what God had done. So, was this change for Timothy because of a problem with the women in his church or to be applied to all?

Jesus must wash you clean before the Holy Spirit will even LIVE within you. The Spirit draws all. HS was poured out on all flesh when Jesus gave up the Ghost at the Cross. Joel/Acts witness. Repent/believe used several times by Christ. When you repent/believe, The HS comes to live in you. You become the HS'S temple. 1 Cor. ch. 3,6,9. No one's born again without REPENT/BELIEVE FIRST! Matt. 3:2-8,4:17,9:13,12:41 Mark 1:15,2:17, 6:12, Luke 3:3,5:32,11:32,13:3-5,15:7-10,24:47 & many more. Why some ignore all this scripture?

Paul, Torah is no longer visible but written on men's and women's hearts! That is where you error at. The flesh is nothing in God's sight. Torah is now written on the inward parts of man. Just as there used to be sacrifice for sin, Jesus was the ultimate and ended all other sacrifices. They aren't needed any more. I understand where you are coming from. No, Torah wasn't not done away with By Jesus. It was fulfilled! meaning that man in his flesh could not do it! We can do nothing without Christ. And where is Christ? In our hearts where Torah is fulfilled through Christ's spirit. Get it? It is about the Spirit now not the flesh. God sees no flesh and no flesh should ever glory.
