---tom2 I would miss your post very much and I so hope you will reconsider. Don't be concerned when they make fun of me or call me names I have perfect peace. Long before I ever wrote on Christianet I spent much time in prayer about my witnessing. I asked the Lord many times about my witnessing I have never encountered any objections from the Holy Spirit, humans yes, almost constantly they degrade what I'm doing and openly make fun of me. It is my prayer for these people the Lord would be merciful to them and forgive them of the ridicule. The Lord knows I'm not much but when the Holy Spirit prompts me I'm going to move and to me moving means winning souls.

Will America Be Destroyed

Some people say America will be destroyed if we fail to recognize that we must have complete military victory over our enemies, our enemies of Islamic origin. Without question our failure to respond, when attacked on 9/11, adequately makes the above scenario possibility thinking. Certainly globalization will bring about the downfall of America economically and if this is so along with our inability to act militarily we are doomed for sure.

---alan8566_of_uk alan I have been in your country and I was sorely disappointed by what I found. As a shopkeeper nation she chose to take advantage of all those nations which she could control. On the contrary the United States has generally helped the general population of each nation that we have controled. I think of Japan, Korea, Philippines and Mexico because of the proximity of the U.S.A.. China, I spent six months there, could easily help by simply rearranging their exchange rate but they will not do this and I encountered much hatred, jealousy, and much envy of the United States among the educated people.

America will be destroyed as concerns her influence in the world. Holiness is required of the individual believer not the nations. And that Holiness require of the individual believer can only be obtained by the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ being imputed to you and me. Revelation 15:4 says,"Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? FOR THOU ONLY ART HOLY: for all nations shall come and worship before thee, for thy judgments are made manifest." Because only Christ is holy, if we become holy we will necessarily have to get our Holiness from him.

Healed Us By His Stripes

I agree with Donna that your question uncovers a problem in understanding. I tend to agree with the faith healers but I have seen very very little results that would verify what they believe. I am of the opinion that my ignorance of the simplicity of God's Word keeps me from being an effective healer. I am at a complete loss as to the solution. Also I'm open to advice. I would however want the person giving me advice to have qualifying results.

First I praise God for using you. That which is working does not need nurturing. Not only do people speak of tingling they also speak of a warmth which flows over their bodies. Another Great Depression Coming

The moderator is correct however I would go farther. I see on the horizon(1-2 years) a depression that goes beyond the depression of the 1930s. It's inconceivable that we can escape the coming storm. I truly believe that not only a great depression is coming with that we will see actual hunger(greater than ever before) in this country. Having traveled around over some of the world and seen their attitudes rest assured no one will come to the aid of America. The hounds of greed have caught the rabbit of plenty and they will eat up all their own substance.

The possibilities afforded by a Internet Church is endless and we have only begun to scratch the surface of those possibilities. And so my answer to this question would have to be yes. Maybe it would be no in the crudest form of the Internet but with new techniques and ideas(for example the possibility of face-to-face communication via the Internet being made a reality) there is literally no limit as to what can be done. How To Be Close With Jesus

Just last night at prison ministry I heard a lady praying. It is customary to have a praying session before we go into the cells and while I do not know his lady personally I have seen her from time to time. Last night however she was asked to pray, her prayer really brought everyone closer to the Lord for me just as a listener I felt like I was rubbing elbows with Jesus himself. This lady is in a praying prayer warrior!!!!!! Both my son and daughter-in-law and grandson can pray like this, it is almost as if their prayers are receiving the nods of the Lord Jesus Christ as he listens. Prayers of this nature are frightfully frank and honest!!!! Really "no holds barred" God you are God and here is my petition!!!!

	Pastor Jim kindly address this question. If the churches is to go through tribulation and to get through tribulation you must take the mark of the beast and to take the mark of the beast brings about death(hell) how then can the church safely pass through the tribulation?

Truth is that after a person is saved they do commit the acts of sinning. However if you will read Romans 4:7-8 with special emphasis on verse 8 you will see what the situation is. God's children sin but their sin is not counted against them. Let me say thank you Jesus for taking away sin.

Question was posted because of my excitement about the opportune to witness that the Lord had given me. Let us attempt to fill in the blanks left by the storm of criticism. This was a senior in high school, and while I did not ask her age she was at least 17 years old. I answered the door in a transport chair(wheelchair that you move with your feet) I answered the door because my wife had a guest visiting her. I held the door open during the conversation. The Hour Of Temptation

Because they have kept the word of his patience he's going to keep them from the hour of temptation, not through the hour of temptation, but from the hour of temptation. And that hour of temptation might well be having to take the mark of the beast, which we will be kept from because we will be raptured out.
