Where Is My Future Husband

alan8566_of_uk: "Steveng .... Marriage is a beautiful gift from God." I agree, marriage is honourable, but what I wrote is directly from scripture. We are living in the time of the end and getting married will only get our mind off of God and unto the world for he that is married cares only for the things that are of the world that he may please his wife. God truly needs people that will go out into the world and preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God and how to get there for the harvest is plenty, but the workers are few.

Will America Be Destroyed

Ahhh, so many self proclaimed prophets who speak words from God. It is only God who chooses which nation to build up and which nation to destroy. There are two parts of a nation that is to be destroyed according to scripture: one, that the people turn their backs on God and, two, that the nation turns its back on Israel. Presently, we are still defending Israel. As long as we are defending Israel, God will spare destruction. But it appears that even the United States will turn its back on Israel. God's patience is growing thin as we approach the end.

Another Great Depression Coming

Many people invest to earn money just as most people work to earn money - to pay for a roof over their heads and food on the table. My dad was very wise about many things. As for investing he would say, "what would bring a better return on your money, $1,000 in someone else's stock or a $1,000 commercial coffee maker?" A person cannot control the asset of another company, but can control the his own asset. The best investment advise he gave was to purchase an apartment building when you are young. That way, if all your future ventures fail, you always have a roof over your head and food on the table. (treat your tenants like kings and queens and they will pay your mortgage plus a small profit at the end of each month)

Stay single... and devote yourself to God. Life is short and the time is at hand when Jesus returns. The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels, and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. I'm fifty seven years young and never regreted not being married. Well, maybe not never. Many parents would tell me that I would make a great husband and a father. Later that night, I would sit at home and think about it - secretly regreting not having any children of my own. Then I pray to God.

Bringing together a few friends to your home is a thousandfold better than a virtual "chruch." It is writen that where two or more are gathered in Jesus' name, there he is also. The christian life is a 24/7 lifestyle, not a once a week pep talk dished out by denominational "churches." It is also written that christians must meet daily to keep from detouring off the road to the Kingdom of God. Read: Hebrews 3:13 Psalm 61:8 Psalm 86:3 Matthew 6:11 Luke 9:23 Acts 2:46 2 Corinthians 11:28 And remember this, for as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

What Are You Thankful For

I thank you and praise you, Lord, who has given me wisdom to share with all the people that have crossed my path by your hand and all the people that you will send to me in the days, weeks and years to come until the glorious return of Jesus. I give thanks, dear God, for all you have given me that I may cheerfully share what I have with others. And I thank Jesus who counted me faithful to be part of his ministry. And a special prayer to all of you (who read this post) that you and your families have peace of mind, joy of spirit, good health and many great friends to share them with forever in Jesus' name, Amen.

I Need Christian Friends

If you are looking for true friends, you will not find them on these blogs. Anyone can say they will be your firend on the blogs and what do yu have? Only words. What people need are not virtual "friends," but someone you can see and touch. Someone you can laugh with and share each other's shoulders at other times. Can you share a holy hug with a virtual "friend?" Find people in your community that are like minded in the Lord. Do an online KJV bible search for "one another," "each other," and "encourag" because friends are real, not virtual. Real friends can DO a thousandfold more than virtual "friends."

How To Be Close With Jesus

A person gets close to God when he or she does the two commandments spoken of by Jesus and, at the same time, communicate (thrugh prayer) with Him. Christians get close to Jesus when we give to the poor and needy cheerfully, give drink to the thirsty. You don't know me. You only know me by what I write. Many people have classified me as being ungodly because I don't conform to their doctrines. This holds true even if Jesus were on these blogs. He would be nothing more than just another person with his own opinions. Nothing compares to face-to-face fellowship with one another. Even God seeks to have a personal relationship with His people.

There is a difference between "turning to salt" and "became a pillar of salt." It's very difficult to have a pillar of a heart attack. Concerning the reason she looked back. The clash of ideas are the philosophies and wrong and shallow answers built upon man's thoughts and ideas. Don't let others spoil your faith and joy in Christ by these. "...there can be no real debate." The Word of God says to stay away from idle chitchat, debates, and conspiracies.

I heard it and even believed BUT I had to go through some stuff to really get what God was saying to me." For christians, the worse is yet to come. I pray that your hardship was enough to get you through the coming tribulation. It is through this fire that a christian comes out as precious as gold. If a christians can endure what is about to occur then they are the ones that will be favorable to God and rise at the first resurrection. Pray hard that God will protect you and yours.

Life Possible Without God

MarkV, why do you put down weak christians? Christians are to accept the weak and teach them truth until they are able to stand on their own. Strong christians should bear the infirmities of the weak, but you attack them continuously to please yourself. Would you attack a weak christian because he or she is a vegetarian? For one believes that he may eat all things and for another, who is weak, eats only herbs. We should receive the weak in the faith, but not to your continued doubtful disputations, and, of course, pray for them.

Tricks Of The Devil

Have you felt "someone" tap you on the shoulder from behind and when you turn around there is no one there? Kinda spooky, eh? Or how about you heard someone call out your name, your turned around and no one is there? Or you saw someone at the corner of your eye and when you turned, no one? How high is your fear level when you walk alone through a haunted house or through a dark forest late at night? The mind is Satan's playground, fooling even your five senses - making you believe in things that are not there and making you believe in things that are there (as in miracles).
