Why Stay In Church

As long as you are yoked to Jesus, in love with Him, wanting to Obey His Word and Do His Will at all cost, God will always give you the Victory through Christ Jesus, Our Lord and Savior. Be encouraged, the devil is a liar. He uses lies when people don't know the word of God and don't obey it.

	I don't know of any, do you alan? Is this a trick question? LOL (Love you alan my brother in the Lord). As far as I know Jesus is the only one without sin.

Darlene, Jesus refers to Himself as the Bridegroom often in the Gospels. If He is our Bridegroom, then there is a Bride, right? Here are a few verses: John 3:29 - He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. Matthew 25:10 - And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: They in this passage refers to the Bride. There is a difference between the daughters of Jerusalem and the Bride of Christ. You are His Bride, but not everyone who calls Him Lord Lord will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

alan, you are so kind to ask about my blood clots. I was rushed to the hospital end of September, was diagnosed with three blood clots, two were in my lungs, one in my leg. They put me on blood thinner and seven days later I bled almost to death. They told me if the bleeding didn't stop, I would die. They were getting ready to med-o-vac me to another hospital for surgery on my liver. But God miracously stopped my liver from bleeding. I am not well. I am only 51, but okay if I die. I know I have eternal life and I know I will be with God and Jesus. Tks for your concern alan and others, prayers are appreciated. Thank you!

Demon Jumped On Me

Put your hands on your head and plead the blood of Jesus. "I plead the blood of Jesus over my mind, my body, my emotions, my family, my will, etc., in Jesus name I pray." Demons hate it when you mention the blood of Jesus because they know it has power in it. The name of Jesus is the most powerful name on earth. When you get scared cry out, JESUS, JESUS, JESUS HELP ME. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world....amen?

How To Study Scriptures

I found a really neat commentary. It's only two volumes and it's affordable. It's called The Bible Knowledge Commentary. Start with Genesis or the New Testament and read One chapter and then read the commentary on it. Read the second chapter and read the commentary on that also, and proceed like that. OR you can do a word study. I studied JOY and after making notes in my notebook and studying what Jesus said about it, how to get it, how to keep it, etc., I now have Joy Unspeakable which Peter talks about in 1st Peter.

Pastor Gives Tithes Back

1st_cliff, you are going to get hurt JUMPING to wrong conclusions. Oh really? You really think you can't give God's Kingdom money? I never said I gave it to God, I said I released it into HIS Kingdom. And if the Kingdom is HIS, and He's the Ruler & King of that Kingdom, then I am giving it to God. Jesus's instructions were GIVE and it SHALL be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and runneth over. I did NOT give to get anything from God, that was my point. I gave because I asked God WHERE should I give? The Lord showed me something and I did it out of obedience. The carnal mind cannot understand the things of God, they are foolishness to Him. Sorry I even mentioned releasing the money.

God isn't looking for Christians, He's looking for a Bride. A Bride without spot or wrinkle. A Bride takes a long time to prepare for her Husband. "I am the Vine and my Father is the Husbandman." If you have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying, you'll hear this. I will betroth you to me. Betroth means marry. God is trying to tell us something here. Marry-Bride-Husbandman-and every branch in me (in Christ Jesus) that does not bear fruit, He takes away. I Still don't know what this part means, maybe someone can shed light on "he taketh away." What does He do with them?

	1st cliff - you are smart enough to know HOW one releases a gift of money into the Kingdom of God. I know you can figure this out on your own, you're very good at knowing the Word of God and the Will of God.

I apologize to everyone - I don't know what happened, if my mind is pre-occupied (I was told a blood clot could go to my lung and cut off my air passage and I could die at my desk at work). So I've been a little distraught lately, but still trying to help people and respond to these posts. My sincere apologies. Sorry Alan.

Pastors Teach Tithing

Suzy, I would absolutely ask the Pastors that. Tithing may not be mandatory, but Jesus did say, "Give and it SHALL be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and runneth over." I have been tithing since I was 16 and wasn't a Christian until I was 24 and I have been reaping the blessings of tithing and I'm 51 now. Why not give God something by faith? Why now show Him you mean business by keeping the Sabbath and by tithing? Even though we think they are Old Testament, God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Most people would look for a financial blessing, and if they didn't get one would say God didn't bless them. However, God wants to bless us with Him, with Spritiual things, spiritual gifts, etc., I told God the other night, you don't owe me anything for a gift I released into the Kingdom of God because it was a substantical amount. I said to God, You already gave me your Heart, Your Son, Your Son's Blood, Your Grace, Your Love, etc., so you don't owe me a thing.

Cope With Death Of Boyfriend

Dominique, you won't be able to let go until you go through a very long grieving process. Crying is a release of your emotions. Hanging out with friends who will let you talk about what happened and tell stories about your boyfriend will help tremendously. I have a friend who lost her fiancee two weeks before their wedding was to take place. That was 2 years and 3 months ago and she is still so deeply grieved and cries all the time. Someday you will weep no more. Thou will turn your mourning into dancing. Hang on God's word. He heals the Brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy comes in the morning. I am praying for you (((((big hug))))).

Be, or at least try to be a friend to her. Love her where she's at (she may not be on the same belief level as you are). Share what God has done for you. You don't always have to tell her she HAS to accept Jesus as Her Lord and Savior first. You can love her where she's at and talk about Jesus and God and what He has done for you, and then ask Her, do you want to know Jesus like I do? See what she says. If yes, then lead her into a prayer, ask her to pray with you. Lord Jesus, I realize I am a sinner, and I want to repent for my sins and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord and Savior of my life.

Why Stay In Church

I don't stay in church, but I have meetings at my house instead. I invite "whosoever will come." I think we misunderstood the scripture that says, don't forsake the gathering of the brethren. In the book of Acts, they gathered in each other's homes and sold all they had so that no one was in need. They got together for prayer, worship, breaking bread, etc., Not for taking up building funds, or creating programs to get people into the church, etc.,

Different Levels In Hell

Yes, there are different levels of hell. What constitutes a GOOD PERSON in your eyes? The bible tells us: ALL have sinned and fell short of the Glory of God. We are sinners who are willing to repent for our sins and accept the blood of Jesus to cleanse us from our sins. Those who reject Jesus and what He did for us is NOT a good person. Would you want someone to live in your home who was a murderer or child molestor? Neither does God.

	Rhonda-- If you worry about your nearly grown child being abducted...teach them tactics for self defense! If you worry about them being influeced by some cult.... Ground them thoroughly in their beliefs. Prepare them to explain to anyone what and why they believe. (esp. if going to college) You cannot follow them everywhere.

Am I Part Of The Remnant

Alan, ask God if you are. He is the ONLY one who can assure you and know you are. Many of us want to believe we are part of His Remnant, but until I began asking the Lord if I am, I just wasn't sure. And to be honest, if the bible tells us there is no one righteous, not even one, then wouldn't it be God's place to let us know if we are or aren't? If there's no answer from heaven, start asking, "What can I do to become part of your remnant?"

Healed Us By His Stripes

Bob, this is a subject I have been studying for years. I have heard we walk in healing, we have authority to command sickness and disease off of our bodies, but even the most admired men of God get cancer. I'm speaking of Dr. David Jerermiah. I believe that when Jesus went to the cross and shed His Blood for our sins, that IF we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. John wrote this after the crucufixation and resurrection. So we still gotta confess our sins and repent of them to be cleansed. As far as healing, I think it goes alot deeper than what I have studied - I need enlightment in this area of my life so I can't comment, sorry.

Another Great Depression Coming

I have no doubt that the United States of America is going down the tubes. Another big recession will hit and the stock market will not recover like some think it will. God is not interested in healing America's economy. He is interested in healing our hearts. America got themselves bankrupt, why should God bail us out? If you live under Psalm 91 and believe it and have a very intimate relationship with God, HE will provide for you in every way! Believe and trust and pray and obey and Worship Father God.
