Is Faith Before Belief

Faith is the manifestation of belief, it is the action taken when there is no tangible evidence . (Heb 11:1) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence/action of/for things not seen (ie.)heb 11:7-Noah built an ark (faith/substance)based on what God told him even though he had never experienced what god had told him would come upon the earth. God says in (john 14:15) if you love me then you will keep my commandments.(Gal 5:6) .... but faith which worketh by love. If one says they have FAITH then LOVE would be the action taken which would manifest their Belief. The faith of jesus christ if it is applied to us, by the which we know that we have salvation, is manifested if we have Love for others.

Is Faith Before Belief

Faith is the synonym for belief in other words faith is the verb form of belief which is a noun. Faith is a work (2thes 1:11) "Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of [this] calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of [his] goodness, and the work of faith with power:" So the faith we have is not our own faith, it is the faith of Jesus christ that is applied to us because we can't work for our salvation and faith is a work. It is christ who did the work to save us and gave it to us as a gift.

Teaching Just For The Jew

Ps 135:4- For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, [and] Israel for his peculiar treasure.
Deut 14:2- For thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that [are] upon the earth.
1pet 2:9-But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Titus 2:14- Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
ALL WHO ARE SAVED whether hebrew or other nationality.

TRAV -
(from your mouth- on 'who are the real jews' blog) on 9/25/09, trav you said "Metuschelah partly correct. No debating Romans 2:29" The same verse I use on this blog, but now I'm Blind, Your the one with blinders on my friend and being swade by the winds of doctrine on this site.

Teaching Just For The Jew

(HERE I AM MAKING A COMMENT ON 'Is remmarriage accepted by god')
Part1-I'm tired of hearing that the physical Jewish person is who the old testament was talking to. Who is a jew, (Rom 2:29)"But he [is] a Jew, which is one inwardly, and circumcision [is that] of the heart, in the spirit, [and] not in the letter, whose praise [is] not of men, but of God".---metuschelah on 9/29/09
(HERE YOU ARE AGREEING WITH ME)
I'm like you, I'm tired of hearing jew as being all Israel. It wasn't. In the new testament the house of Israel and Judah are seperated by divorce. And will be reunited by a New Covenant. Heb 8:8 and Revelations last chapter.

Trav
The only place where me and you differ on romans 2:29- is that I take it as there is no more physical jewish people as the apple of God's eye, why you ask, because they were never the people of god's eye because all along when God was talking about the Jews/Israel/Jacob/, it was always talking about believers whether of jewish descant or other nationality, the physical jewish people at one time was a representation/parable of something else but not the very image Hbr 10:1- although talking about the law it also meant the people too.

TRAV, if you think i'm blind then PLEASE PLEASE pray for me.LOL. I think your the one that is blind , please stop commenting on me, because you can keep pointing fingers and call me a false prophet and what not, but i guest so did the pharisees and scribes in jesus's days and they called him all kinds of names and finally killed him, actually keep calling me what you want because you can't see truth, I suppose i'm in great company.

TRAV (Jer 30:11) "For I am with thee, saith LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: I will correct thee in measure, will not leave thee altogether unpunished". It is speaking of saving the nation believers in christ whether hebrew descant or other nationality. Trav you seem to not remember which side you are on, because when I used this same verse (rom 2:29) on a similar blog, you were high-fiving me, but then as you were instructed by more bloggers, your view on this verse change. Seems to me that you are being swade by the winds of doctrines on this blog site. The day I hear what you ever have to say will be the day cats live under water.

Does God Answer Prayers

Prayer is not for god to answer our wish list, instead it is to conform us to his will. Read (Luke 22:41-42) "And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done".If God does not give you what you want, that doesn't mean he hasn't answered you, it's probably not the answer you would want but do what jesus did and accept the will of God. (Isa55:8)"For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD". If the cup did pass from jesus, if he never died for us then where would we be, I'll tell you, we would still be a slave to our sins.

Acceptance By God

Acceptance of us by god is all based on whether we were chosen by God to have the faith of christ which covers our sins with the blood of Jesus christ. Faith or the faith of jesus christ is not something we can pursue for ourselves, it is applied to us by God (i.e.)(Gal 3:6)"Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness" in other word abraham was given the gift of belief/faith/faith of christ and because of that faith god counted him as righteous. God gives his people a zeal for him.

Rapture Before Great Battle

Mima you are a blind soul. Ask god to remove the scales in your eyes and also those who believe in the kinds of doctrine you believe. Stop listening to the preachers who teach lies like {let's wait and see what happens to the middle east in order to measure where we are in God's timeline}. It is all foolishness.

Teaching Just For The Jew

part 1
No, there is no difference, in actuality when the bible refer to Jews or Israel it's direct audience are not the physical Jewish people, in fact it is speaking to believers in christ which can also be a physical jew, those who keeps his commandments (Rom 2:28-29) "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly, neither [is that] circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he [is] a Jew, which is one inwardly, and circumcision [is that] of the heart, in the spirit, [and] not in the letter, whose praise [is] not of men, but of God".

Why So Many Denominations

SATAN rules the churches of this world (i.e) rev 2 & 3, all of them, there is not one that is the true to the word of god- GET OUT OF THE CHURCHES OR BE PARTAKER OF HER JUDGEMENT. The ONE true church of God is not going to be found in this life time although some of its members are here. We will not know who they are at this time because we can't see into the heart of man, only god can.

Divorce Second Husband

In response to suzieH-10/19/09
What's your point suzie, david also killed uriah in order to have uriah's wife bathsheba but that still doesn't make god's law void which says that you should not kill or commit adultery just because king david did it, he too was a sinful man. David payed for his transgression of the law, first he lost his first child by bathsheba then he was told that the sword will not leave his house then he was not allowed to build the temple of God because he had blood in his hands. God's law is perfect nothing goes unpunished which is why it's best to do according to the law of God. As I stated before, it is abomination for one to leave second husband to go back to first husband. Stop taking scripture out of context.

Will God Restore My Marriage

No, you can't return to your first marriage, it is an abomination (Deut 24:4)

We are able to tract time through the bible when god gives us the birth of people and also how long the israelites were in the wilderness or how long a judge or a king reign, for instance genesis 5, genesis 11:10-32 it's all over the bible, but just to make it easier for you, you can order this free book "adam when" from family radio at 1800-543-1495 it depicts all the scriptures and lays it out for you. REMEMBER! god will do nothing without first revealing it to his servants including the timing of the end of the world which i would say is a great piece of information that we need to know (i.e)Isam 20:2, amos 3:7, Gen 18:17.

you and those who think like you are blind and lost to the truth that is God, stop listening to the doctrines of men (Tim lahay's left behind saga) and start to listen to the bible.

Can Women Know The Bible
