The spirit world is much more active than most Christians accept. The Holy Spirit will show you what it is though. Demon attacks come in many ways. They feel heavy and oppressive. The good news: its a lie! The devil is defeated by the powerful blood of Jesus. His name has all authority over them. Next time, quote the verse above...believe it...and speak the name of Jesus! Say Jesus over and over and tell oppression to go. Do it in faith even if you feel dumb. You are more than a conquerer through Jesus Christ!

How Long To Build The Ark

Genesis 6:3 in the NLT reads: "Then the Lord said, My Spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time, for they are only mortal flesh. In the future, their normal lifespan will be no more than 120 years." It is a misconception to think it is saying how long God was giving the world to repent before the flood. It definitely has no correlation to how long it took Noah to build the ark either. In Genesis 5 we see men lived to be 800-900years old. The beginning of chapter 6, God simply says: 900 years is to long to put up with a mortal person. From now on, man's normal lifespan will be 120 years or less. That is why we don't have 900 year old men today. The truth: the Bible doesn't say how long it took Noah to build the ark.

Generational Curses In The Bible
	Please, please read Ezekiel 18. Generational curses don't exist! They're great for writing books and making money to sell to poor, suffering folk who are feeling guilty or sad. God said no more of this saying in Israel - teeth on edge, sour grapes, etc.

	The whole religious thing is over rated. Too many things contradict one another for anyone to make sense of anything. Most of all how can more than one "religion" have the same people "Jesus" but play different roles. Another thing why are christians afraid of evolution and want to ban its teachings, when it has been proven, and want to replace it with creationism.

In both Hebrew and English, the word day can have several meanings, and context determines which meaning is the correct one. In Genesis 2:4 the context indicates that "day" is referring to an indefinite period. But in Genesis 1:5,8,13,19,23 and 31 the contexts emphatically and unambiguously indicate an ordinary earth-rotation 24-hour (approx.) day. Re generations in Genesis 2:4, the book of Genesis contains regular occurrences of the Hebrew term toledoth, translated "These are the generations of". Because of the grammatical and functional similarity to colophons, many Bible scholars see this as evidence that Moses compiled Genesis from ancient, even pre-Flood, historical records that were originally in tablet form.

No imperative reason exists, either biblical or scientific, for thinking the earth is millions of years old. Science is about measurement, and age cannot be measured. For philosophical reasons - mainly unwillingness to renounce sin - many scientists choose to reject what God says about history, and to interpret facts in such a way as to exclude God. Likewise, desire for worldly respectability leads many professed Christians to believe vain God-excluding myths of secular science in preference to what God says. Many others are merely deceived.

Creation in six ordinary earth-rotation days is a crucial doctrine for several important reasons. Consider two: 1. If what the Bible plainly says about earthly things such as creation is false, then why believe what it plainly says about spiritual things? (John 3:12). 2. Belief that the creation days are millions of years rather than ordinary days goes hand-in-hand with the belief that the fossils, which testify to death and suffering on a monumental scale, constitute a record of those alleged millions of years. This makes a lie of God's Genesis 1:31 declaration that He created everything "very good". Death is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26), not something good. A god who used eons of death to create would be an ogre.

3. Six day creation as recorded in Genesis is supernatural, necessitating a Creator God. In contrast, the idea that the Genesis days were millions of years during which the universe grew by itself is a naturalistic explanation, which removes the need for a Creator God. As Richard Dawkins said, Darwin made it possible to be an intellectually-fulfilled atheist. 4. Belief that the Creation days are millions of years strongly correlates with belief that life evolved. But this removes our accountability to God. If God did not create us, but we instead evolved over millions of years during hypothetical long days, then we are not accountable to God, not sinners, and not in need of salvation (whatever that means in a naturalistic worldview).

There's too much smoke and mirrors here. It's obvious that most of you people are just idiots. Speculating this and that. One person says this , the other says this or that with out no real proof or answers to anything. The bible this and that. Look, the bible is a good thing, ok but never the less, you got to be able to put it down and experience life a little. Believe it or not there are things that are happening around you and knowing the past or reading thoughtful gracious stories won't save you from it. I'll end on this, If you are a Christian and you've entered into a verbal altercation with someone in which you have assumed a defensive posture you have already failed in whatever you were trying to achieve at that moment.

Out Of Body Experience
	Isn't our consiousness just our inner man? And if all that happens is that you come outside of your dwelling place (the flesh) then who are we to say if it's right or wrong? The bible doesnt say its wrong, so christians shouldn't speak of things they know nothing about. God is the God of all eternity and all things are possible for him.

Then, at 10, he developed some "evil" purpose and went "undercover" as Christian with plot to become president of the US? SERIOUSLY?!?!?

Katavasia I am well aware of the horrible excesses that have been meted out by the Islamist fundamentalist movement that has arisen out of the chaos caused by the post-cold war political instability. I am equally aware of the overwhelming moderate Muslims who support the secular governments of their nations and are afraid of these fundamentalist movements. I dont think that lumping these groups together and making blanket statements about all Muslims based on the actions of these groups is productive. I have also seen horrible excesses committed by Christian, "Hindu" and even "Buddhist" fundamentalist movements, in the name of their religions, in unstable times.

I personally would not care what religion Obama was. But, as whether or not he's a Christian, all of the "allegations" about him being a Muslim refer the time when he wasn't even 10 years old. He's been living as a Christian ever since then. The Lord and Saviour says that you are born again in him, so I really don't think it matters how he was raised. Look at Paul. Unless you think Barak, at 10 years old, made the decision to go undercover as a Christian so that he could take over America in the name of Islam, then if he professes Christianity, I don't think it's our place to question him.

By the way Jerry, Muslims do not kill men who become Christians. The Koran would forbid this. While there are some radical groups that do things against mainstream Islam, just like there are groups that call themselves Christians who do very unChristian things, it would not be fair to judge them by this. For example, just because Christian Serbs killed Muslim Bosnians, does that mean that it is Christian to kill Muslims?
