To Eloy and Alan Of course knowing the very day or hour of his return is not biblical but knowing the times of the season is. Where it says he's coming as a "thief of the night" are to those who are not watching for His return. I encourage you to read 1Thes 5:2-5. Ready Christians are alert watching, praying, and discerning the times. These people will not be caught off guard when Christ raptures the Church as the children of darkness because they are living their lives everyday as though He can come at that very moment...even though our flesh will sin but our spirits should be ready through prayer and repentance. Let's be knowledgable of our Saviour's return. Hosea 4:6 says we perish because we lack knowledge.

I took the liberty to look up the Good News Bible translation (GNB) for you, Be blessed. Jer 31:35 The LORD provides the sun for light by day, the moon and the stars to shine at night. He stirs up the sea and makes it roar, his name is the LORD Almighty. Jer 31:36 He promises that as long as the natural order lasts, so long will Israel be a nation. Jer 31:37 If one day the sky could be measured and the foundations of the earth explored, only then would he reject the people of Israel because of all they have done. The LORD has spoken.

Eloy...i understand Matt 24 pretty well and yes He will have to shorten time because of the mad destruction of lives that will be going on. All I'm saying here Eloy, Jesus desires we know the generation He's coming back to so we can prepare our hearts unto wisdom. Eloy...remember in Matt 16:1-3 Jesus got very angry with the pharisees and saducess because they could discern the weather better than discerning the times of his 1st coming? Jesus gave that generation before his 1st coming the prophecy of Daniel's 70 weeks read Dan 9:24-27. We both pretty much agree we are living in the final days but we need to be educated as to why, to win souls. Rebirth of Israel land is the start point of this last generaton...countdown began at 1948!

To Bill //where Jesus says ones aren't Jews as they say, I consider this means even flesh and blood Hebrews, but not "inwardly" > see Romans 2:28-29.\\ I read Rom 2:28-29 and agree Paul seem to revert the jewishness to mean an inward relationsip with Jesus rather than just a blood line. Also I understood Rev 2:9 as a rebuke by John to the Edom Jews (or Idumeans) who have been prouncing around since 135 BC...calling themselves the real jews. Did you not know King Herod, an Idumea, was converted jew and exalted himself as the King of the Jews? Edom nation always had innate hatred for Jacob's people since their father Esau lost his birthright. Also Read John 8:37-44...Jesus put things in perspective of who their true father was.

Yes I know this is the dispensation period for whosoever believe in Jesus shall be saved, however did not Jesus say I have come for the house of Israel first, read Matt 15:24. But I just wanted to address what I have been reading in Obadiah (only has 1 chpt) and Isaiah 11...Jesus is not done with the natural Israelites. When He returns judgement is coming on the current Edom nation who stands and sits in the house of Israel. Either the converts in Israel repent and make Jesus their Lord or be brought down. According to prophecy in the 2 books I mentioned above, Jesus is to restore Israel and Judah tribes to their land and unfortuntely what I read, it won't be pretty in the beginning.

Eloy I'm speaking of a specific generation here...I have heard from 40 to up 120yrs. But Psalms 90 nailed it for all generations Psa 90:1 A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. and it goes on to say... Psa 90:10 The days of our years are seventy, and if any by strength live eighty years, yet their pride is labor and sorrow, for it soon passes, and we fly away. Therefore Jesus says "This generation shall not pass" is speaking of when you see Israel return as a nation start counting down. 1948+80 yrs is very close to 2000 yrs after Jesus' rose from the grave. Your 40yrs theory won't work here because 1948+40 had already passed.

The bible distintively described the Jews physical appearance...just sharing the truth to others that the current jews in Israel is from Edom lineage Jacobs' brother. Edom (red and hairy)white as oppose to Jacob read below: Lam 4:8 Their visage is blacker than a coal, they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones, it is withered, it is become like a stick. Lam 5:10 Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine. Lam 5:11 They ravished the women in Zion, and the maids in the cities of Judah. Also unfortunetly...Obadiah and Isaiah 11 goes into details of what will likely be when Jesus return...things will certainly be quite different than what we see now in Israel.

As I understand today's so-called jews are either Ashkenaz (mainly from eastern Europe/Russia region) or Sephardic (Spain (bibical name Tarshish)/Mediterrean area)...but Ashkenaz & Tarshish are from Japheth lineage which the bible says are of Gentiles and Gen 10:5 is the first place Gentiles were ever mentioned in King James version...

Amen Leslie, But He really do want us to know the season of His second coming (of course no one will know the day nor hour but should know at least the generation He's coming back to) Read Math 16:1-3...Jesus rebuked those religious folks who could not discern His 1st coming which was prophecied in Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy, read Dan 9:24-25. Israel started the countdown at 1948 of this last generation to see Christ return. Oh you are most definitely correct about getting busy winning souls. Also Jesus wants all HIS children to be on His side when He breaks the 1st seal in Rev 6 to unleashed wrath. That's why he raptured John up to heaven Rev 4:1 before breaking the seals in Rev 6:1 as a sign for the church too He will do.

There were total of 7 churches and 3 are found to be examples of who will be #1 raptured and not suffer any wrath that's Philadelpia, #2 some will die and some will possibly be rapture if they endure 10 days of 7 yr tribulation that's Smyrna and #3 cast into the great trib which all will have to be Martyrs for their faith to be saved (includes not accepting the mark of the beast) that's Thytira. In essences we need to model after Philadelphia to escape all wrath, seals, trumpets and bowls that's coming.

What most people don't understand is the gospel being preached is not limited to saved humans to do but in the Tribulation period there will be the 2 Prophets Rev 11, 144,000 Virgin men Rev 7 and Angels Rev 14 will be preaching the gospel. I also believe there could be 2 worldwide raputures: First rapture the Phildaphia church type will be spared from the hour of tribulation, Rev 3:10 and gone before "man of sin" appears 2thes 2:3. Second rapture the Smyrna church type will go through 10 days of the 1st half of the tribulation, Rev 2:10. They will either die for their faith or raptured alive if they survive the 10 days. After this everyone will simply be Martyrs to have eternal life.

Do a google typing "date Jesus crucifixion" common dates are 30ad or 33ad. Now put Hosea 6:2 in perspective, it's prophectic: After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. 2Pet 3:8 says 1 day is like a thousand years to the Lord. Now it's been nearly 2 days after Jesus ascension which give us around 2033. I believe the rapture will be before this time, read Luke 21:36, those who are watching and praying will escape. Let me add, God is not just referring only to humans to preach the gospel across the world, but also the 2 prophets in Rev 11 and His angels Rev 14:6. Time is at Hand, let us love and serve each other as much as possible along with Watching and Praying

World Going To End Soon

Yes we are currently living out the Book of Revelation in Chpts 1-3. Israel is now a nation again (after it's destruction in 70ad) and has been since May 1948 therefore Revelation, Daniel's and other endtimes scriptures could only be applicable for now. The generation that see Israel become a nation will be the generation to witness Christ return. According to Ps 90 where it starts of saying God has been our dwelling place in all generation, also says up to 80 yrs is given to it. So Sisters and Brothers, we are already 60 yrs into this generation we only have but a few years let...little less the 20yrs for the New World order to come and Antichrist to do his thing. Keep in mind the raputure will happen even before these, Luke 21:36.

Yes, I believe the generation that sees Israel a state again will witness Christ 2nd coming. Generation is apprx 80 yrs, read ps 90. Therefore if you add 80yrs to 1948, you will come very close to 2000 yrs after Jesus' resurrection. Do a google on the approxm date of his crucifixion date around 30 or 33 AD. Hosea prophecied in Hosea 6:2, after 2 days Jesus will raise us up and on the 3rd day we will live with Him. Understand 2 days is symbolic of 2000yrs which after this period He will raise up His people and the 3rd day is the 1000yrs reign with Him. So in essense I believe we have less the 20 yrs in this generation, but the rapture will happen before the end to allow the A-C and his people to rule the earth.

How To Find A Mate

What could help the process, you should list core absolutes you must have in a mate and pray that God will bring that person to you. I'm single female and some of my core's are no males with STDs, herpes or AIDS and that he would appreciate end-time prophecies, he's not over 50 or under 35. I'd try not to get to trival or picky such as does he snore or keeps his nails clean, etc. I recite Psalms 37:4 & 5 for my mate and things I desire to come to pass in my life and that would please God.
