A Spirit Of Oppression

I know the posts are from a while back but I found them relevant to the times. I myself have experienced the great shadow as I call it that is attached to people. It is overwhelming and really hard to deal with when the people are those in your every day life. For those not in my everyday life I avoid them. For people(blood relatives, etc) that I HAVE to deal with I surround myself with light and listen with my heart to hear what God wants me to and the rest goes out the window... it is still difficult at times, but this is something that is working for me.

Not Good For A Man To Be Alone

Everything happens in God's time not ours, have faith that there is a reason for things being as they are. Better to be alone then surrounded and lonely. Take time to get to know yourself and what you really want, be specific in prayer and thank God for the loved ones in your life. Then one day without even a thought it will happen. We are all connected and never alone, only darkness leads us to believe that we are. God is always with you.

Can Christians Be Soldiers

You cannot follow Jesus and generals. Jesus does not have a country. I believe soldiers need to repent of their military service. If Jesus asked for forgiveness for soldiers, they were obviously sinning at the time. With ninety seven percent of all the killing in Iraq being civilian, American soldiers are killing people as innocent as christ every day. Military chaplains make people twice as fit for hell as they are themselves. Without repentance, there are not soldiers in heaven.

In-Laws Trying To Destroy Marriage

EPH 6:12 -- "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." I am there with you... In a similar situation. My inlaws and husband are not saved and he seems blinded to their assaults on me personally and towards our marriage. He has sided with them even in-front of them. I claim victory from the LORD over our marriages and over my husband's salvation. The compass the we choose to use must be GOD. If their's is not, we cannot reason with them or call them to repent... We must fight the one's using them as tools to destroy what God has put together. God Bless.Luke 20:17-19

I Hate My Husband
	Ralph and Graham - Maybe the problem lies with the men and not with the women. Have you ever thought of that? Obviously if so many women, including myself, have problems with their husbands, the husbands might just be doing something wrong.

Is Harold Camping Correct

Augustine, There are a couple of issues that need to be addressed. First and foremost the infalibility of God's word. Do you take God at His word? Because according to Jesus: "But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone." Mark 13:32 According to Jesus, Harold Camping does not know the day of Christ return, and will never know it. If you believe that May 21st of 2011 is the day you will be raptured, I sincerly encourage you to go read your bible. Stop letting other people tell you their own personal interpretation. The Bible says that scripture is not up for personal translation, but that scripture interprets scripture.

	Confusion about boyfriend being a Christian? His track record has some holes. Dig your way out, repent, and God will bring you the "one". It will take much prayer for yourself and reading the Word. I waited many years, but fellowship with the Lord made them the best years of my life.

Does The Bible Contradict Itself

My question is about Proverbs 26:4-5. Verse 4 says - Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself. Verse 5 says - Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes. Unless my eyes are deceiving me, I'm being told not to answer a fool according to his folly and then immediately TO answer him according to his folly. This seems to me a contradiction.

Right Person To Marry
	Amen, Ralph. If you take an opinion poll with your friends, family, etc., you will have so many different answers. God is not the author of confusion. If you're confused now, there's an indicator. Seek God with your whole heart. He'll tell you.

Non-Maturing Christians Possible
	When the Lord brings the Christian to their full spiritual stature, maturity, adulthood, the eyes of our heart are open to understand the call to adult son/daughtership. The completeness of the personality of Christ is more meaningful than yourself. God wants us to have more than head knowledge, He wants our hearts. God calls us to maturity, to walk in the fullness of God in this life.

What Is Your Favorite Food

Coffee and tea. They're both good and there are so many varieties. Tea, green or black, is loaded with antioxidants. Studies have shown that coffee even helps prevent sugar diabetes for some. Tea and coffee, let me count the ways. Black tea and toast soothe the belly. Coffee in the morning rings my chimes. Tea in the afternoon lights up my circuits. I'm like a firefly, darting in and out of the trees. Coffee and tea, definitely.

Eastern Or Western Christianity
	Christians believe... Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of my Heavenly Father, making intercession for me. Jesus Christ shall return for me, because He has gone to prepare a place, and I anxiously await for His return.

Are Women More Spiritual
	no I do not think women are more spritual then men, perhaps women worship in a more open way then men, but I think it's pretty 50 50

Person Called Out For Salvation
	Yes. Yes. Yes. No. I took one of my little sisters to a church service. In the middle of hymn/song, she ran down the aisle to the front. She did all of the above. My parents were visiting, too. They watched. Not too many months later, they made the same decision. The waiting period was only 20 somehing years.

Small Voice Talking To You
	Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit to us. The Holy Spirit carries us in prayer to Jesus Christ to receive truth faith and true healing. We must humble ourselves before God to receive His faith, His knowledge and His power, to hear His voice and grasp what He tells us to do.
