Make Friends At Church

Not all churchs ignore people.My church welcomes everyone in,shakes hands,hugs everyone.But you have to do your part.How many times have you when they shook your hand or said hi have you said hi,how are you? Or how many times have you introduced yourself,try to go to some of the activites.Try to start the converstations and get to know them.Just don't expect them to do it all,you have to meet them half way.That is how we are at my church,if you are trying to get to everyone to shake hands,sometimes not so easy to speak.You need to try to do some of that too.Also pray and ask God to help you.If you don't feel like that is the right church for you,pray and ask God to help you find the right church for you. |

Yes he should have told you and waited when you could be there.Also be glad that he told you.I know of some that would not have said anything at all.And he married you not her.Would you want him to act the way you are acting if you had made the same mistake? Two,instead of praying a curse on the person,pray for their salvation.You as a christian,should pray for your husband,pray that God help you to understand and get over this,and pray for that girls salvation if she isn't saved.Sit down and talk to your husband how it made you feel,and why you are so angry,help him to understand where you are coming from.But also be willing to listen to what he has to say and feel too. |

The bible says not to be unequally yoked,which means we shouldn't marry unbelievers.And you are living in sin.If you do marry him,you need to make sure that he will let you and support you if you want to go to church and get closer to God again.You may one day win him over to the lord.Also,Jerry,it isn't wise to accept jesus just cause you love someone. In order to truly accept Jesus,God had to draw that person to him and touch his heart.Only then can a person accept Jesus and sincerely mean it. If you have to find another place to stay away from your fiance,and start getting closer to God and let him see Jesus in you,then if he sees you living for the lord and see Jesus in you,he may want to accept Jesus himself. |

It is in the bible,rueben.Jesus was born of a virgin,died on the cross and rose the third day.So Jesus Christ is the Messiah.The bible says so.Read the bible.And after Jesus died and rose again,didn't need to do sacrafices anymore.We can pray to Jesus,ask forgivness and repent from our sins.Jesus died for our sins,so we can go to heaven.The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. |

I would suggest try to go to counselling.But i would suggest you both read the 5 love languages book by dr.gary chapman.It is a good book,and he gives examples of situations,some like yours,some alot worse.We all have a different love language,and when one of us or both of us are not speaking each others love language,the other person doesn't feel loved so much.Also watch the fireproof movie,and read the fireproof book too.And do alot of praying and letting the lord lead in it.And try to talk to him and discuss this with him.He may not realize he is making you feel that way,and also listen to what he has to say about it too. |

How Long Is Last Generation

No one knows when the last generation is and when Jesus is coming back.Only God knows that.I do believe we are or could be in the last days.But Jesus can come back today,tomorrow,weeks,months or years from now.Even 100 more years.We don't know.The bible says he will come like a thief in the night,no man knows the day or hour when Jesus will come back.All the prophecys have been fulfilled,so Jesus can come back anytime.That is why we should be looking for his coming,and working to win more souls for him now more than ever.We shouldn't be trying to figure out when the last generation is or hints as to figure out when he is coming.Only God knows that. |

First the bible isn't a myth.Now the greek gods and goddess's are myths.There was only one virgin that gave birth in the bible.God created this earth and us.All of nature too.In the bible that Mary had the virgin birth,when the holy spirit(Spirit of God)went in to her.It is easy to believe and know the bible is real and true if you truly accepted Jesus Christ as lord and savior into your heart and life,and sincerely,truly mean it.Jesus is the only way to heaven.So i would say you need to go to a good church,talk to a pastor or someone you know that is a godly christian that you can talk to Then start reading the bible,studying it,praying,and pray for the lord to show you things as you read the bible and help you learn the truth. |

Yes,you are wrong.He is to put God first before you,then you come second after God.The same goes for you.You put God first,then your husband second.If your husband is a pastor,deacon,or holds a office or job in the church,that may be the reason.And as his wife,you are to understand that,be supportive,even help him if you can.But he needs to make some time for you and the kids also.Sounds like from what you say,you rather get a divorce than try counseling.Try Counseling first and talk to him about it as well.Maybe you both need to read the 5 love languges book,by Dr.Gary Chapman,and watch and read the fireproof movie and book.That will help you both. |

Altar Calls Every Sunday

My pastor says we can seat in her seats or come up to the altar,the altar is always open when the altar call is given.We have the alter calls after he finishes preaching and before the service is dismissed.We sing hymns like invitation hymns Jesus is calling,or Lord i am coming home.Altar calls are not just for the ones that are lost,but for those of us that want to come up to pray for lost loved ones.And if needed someone can take us to another room and pray with us if they want.If you are truly living for the lord and wanting God's will,your heart will be in it to pray at the altar or at your seat,and you would be glad,like and love your church for doing it every service. |

Yes,they should and even sometimes on the mid week service.The altar call is for anyone that feels the convicting them of something or drawing them to go to the altar,pray and rededicate their lives to the lord.Also it is for anyone that isn't saved to come up to pray to ask Jesus into their heart.And for anyone that wants to pray and bring their problems to the lord.My church does it sunday morning,sunday nights and sometimes tuesday nights,depending on how the lord leads.I am glad we do have it,we always end up having someone come to the lord,or rededicate their life to the lord,or just need someone to help pray with them about something. |

No,you shouldn't call him lord.The only we should call Lord is God and Jesus.I disagree with excellent.I don't think he is controlling or brainwashing you.As my pastor says the wife is to submit and love her husband and want to submit for that reason.And that the husband do the same by submitting,loving and want to submit to his wife cause he loves her,for that reason.If he was controlling you and brianwashing you,you wouldn't be enjoying it.And we are to enjoy submiting as long as it is for the right reasons and Godly,not going against God. |

I believe in spanking.But there is a limit of how hard you should do it.Too hard would be abuse if it was hard enough to leave bruises or marks.My mom and dad spanked me and my sister with the hand and a fly swatter.We turned out pretty good.They didn't go too far by leaving marks or bruises.If he is 12 or 13,you might can still spank him,but if he is older than that i wouldn't spank him.And for those of you that don't believe in spanking,you should read proverbs where it talks about spare the rod and spoil the child.Time outs and stuff may work some,but not as good as spanking. |

First of all,all of you that are putting her down,you are not being christianlike either.Did you not see where she says she is saved and knows the Lord.We all sin,make mistakes,backslide,and get out of God's will at times.The key is asking forgivness and repent from those sins.Yes she is right kate as for as living together before marriage is a sin.It was a mistake and you are getting married. stop judging and crictizing her,you are not acting christian like either.You take one comment and act don't really read into the rest of what she is saying. |
