Jesus died for our sins. And, when we believe upon that... then we crucify our sins in the flesh - so that the spirit is alive in christ. Forgiveness does not mean he died so we can continue in sin. Romans 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin And that is why christians do as jesus said Mark 10 11-12 "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her. 12And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery." 1 John 2:4 The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Remarry His First Wife

The word adultery comes from to adulerate. If a man and a woman marry, and they divorce but do not remarry and remain singles..as the bible says.. tey are whole in god 100 percent. If one remarries that whole is now cut in half 50%. If there is infidelity even just once.. that whole is now 25%. If that person divorces and remarries again he is now 12.5%. And, if he marries a woman who divored.. then the purity of that union is 6% with 94% adulteration of impurity or defiled. I honestly do not understand how people dont feel that in their souls. You hear even some christians saying how blessed and pure this is with their new spouses. It is wrong.. and god says it is wrong. I would say stay single in the lord.

Is My Husband Cheating
	Yes it is wrong. Marriage is a covenant, and if you do not love your husband or wife above all others in this world, there should have been no marriage to begin with. Your husband has issues and needs to either get into the word of god or to a good christian counselor.

Lee, It in not my understanding that intent is a variable in these messages: which describe divorce and remarriage as adultery. Simply because of all supporting scripture eluding to the same within the new testiment. Marriage is a covenant unto god and the commands given to christians ensure that the covenant can not be broken, until death or if a woman is unfaithful to her husband. From my understanding if we choose to disobey, we are sowing seeds of the flesh not the spirit. Given the collapse of the family structure and divorce being so common - I believe the message is pure.

Can Divorced Christians Remarry

The term christian and remarriage is in most cases adultery, idolatry and hypocrasy. With the exception of a spouses death, or a man who's wife has cheated on him, divorce and remarriage is a complete violation of the teachings of christ. And, a woman who separates from her husband for any reason.. must remain unmarried and pure, that is if she claims christ as lord and savior. If we live in christ.. we do not partake in such an event, despite the worldly loss. Many will honor our lord with their lips but their hearts are far away. We know gods word on this.. it is not up for debate. I encourage anyone who is looking for answers to study scripture.

I agree with mic, and I am not sure why so many people who claim christ as lord and savior, disobey his teachings without a serious conviction of heart. Any divorced woman who remarries and knows the bible knows this is adultery, she is to remain unmarried, and not to remarry as long as her husband is alive. A man is not to divorce his wife and remarry, but for the cause of infidelity, not for any other reason. There is no joy in sin not when the love of god lives within us and to others. God calls us to obedience, not what seems right to man.

Does God Pick Our Mate

I love what francis wrote when it comes to choosing a mate.I also think when a person chooses to marry, they should commit to love that person and no other person and if the marriage does not pan out, they both agree to spend all of their remaining days alone on earth in service to god. That is what god calls for us to do as christians and that would make people think twice about marrying the right person, and think twice about ending the marriage. This also abides with the teachings of jesus about divorce and remarriage being adultery.

Should We File For Divorce

Do not file for divorce. Let her do it if she wants out. She may want you to file so to avoid accountability to the words of jesus which are Mark 10:12 And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery. It pains me deeply to hear of this. I dont know why she says she loves you, this is not love. And, if she does... she would be willing to work with you on making the marriage work.
