Did My Brother Go To Hell

We can not say that some one went to hell after they died, because God is the only righteous judge to know this. Even though your brother didn't accept Jesus in his life, maybe he thought about the Lord and asked for forgiveness just before he past away. Jesus forgave a person who hanged by him on the cross and told him that he will be in paradise. Also, there is going to be a judgement day when every one will give an account of what they did in life: good or bad. |

We could know that we are pleasing God by having a pure conscience. Yesterday I told my sister that I was going to vaccuum this morning. When I was praying to God in my room, I realized that I only wanted to vaccuum the living room, not the basement. I ended my prayer and vacuumed all of the rooms. I knew that my conscience was judging me and I had to please God in a little thing like this. We can please God by being pure in our thoughts and actions. |

In Russian translation in Genesis it uses "righteous" instead of perfect. I think these verses apply to today. My pastor told about his wife how when she became a Christian and came to her father to ask for his blessing, because she was going to get married, he kicked her out of his house. He hated her for following Jesus and going to church. He used to say that he would take a knife and kill those who persuaded her to be a Christian and kill her also. This is an example of how the father was at enmity with his daughter. He came to the Lord later and became a totally different man as humbled as a child. |

Age That You Accepted Christ

I was 18 years old when I repented and got baptized. I didn't have faith in the Bible before this. I asked God in a prayer to give me faith, started to read the Gospel and believed. It was amazing. Praise God. |
