It is a Christian based program that walks you through the trauma of divorce and will give you a lot of tools to help you know that you are not alone and that God has a lot to say about marriage and divorce. I believe 100% in spanking children and I spank my son if he needs it, but there does come a point where that is not appropriate. To me puberty is that point. Would you pull down the pants of a menstruating daughter to spank her?? HELLO!?!?!?!? If you are still needing to spank a child of that age then you failed her in the area of discipline long before that. I completely understand that teens need discipline, but at this age, hitting them just makes them angry and feel that they need to retaliate. I was slapped across the face many time when my mom would get mad. It just made me hate her. Find other ways to discipline like withholding fun times or outings. |

Yes i have the same problem with my mom and my brother they have always been close and i have always been the one standing on the outside watching her adore him and wondering what i did to make this happen although my situation is the opposite from the others i am the "good one" who gets good grades does what shes told and is always neat! |

Caught My Husband Cheating

I know my husband cheated on me in 2007. He denies it but no man does not notice that his wife has lost 28 pounds. I realized he was grooming himself differently and wearing silk briefs. He was smelling freshly washed when he came home. His excuse was that the air conditioner was on high at work. Also I just recently found he has several profiles posted on adult finders and other kinds of fling websites. One site he opened the day after my birthday. I checked his history on the internet browser. I am confused and angry. Sad and I feel inadequate. He says he loves me yet he does this?! This has been going on now for over two years. I know I should just leave but I just can not seem to take that first step. Confrontation does nothing. |

It is Child Protective Services. There are many sad aspects and happy ones to the job. You try to help families out in some way. I am sorry to the ones that were falsely reported on. This is considered a Class A misdemeanor and you can try and take this up with Law Enforcement. If only you knew some of the reports that CPS takes in regards to children. I know that our agency has saved many, many children, and at least I can be happy about that. |

I find it honorable that you would put your children and parents above everything else. Family should be your number one priority apart from your relationship with the Lord. I definitely believe any part in the ministry has to be a calling upon your life. No one should be put in a leadership position on account of being desperate on one end, and flattered on the other. People get nervous and try to move ahead of God. He'll get the job done, and he'll let you know what your part is in it. |

I recently attended a Christian music festival. My younger brother, who is struggling with faith, went. Because he went, he met up with a friend of mine who prayed with him. He heard music that he likes without all the negative messages. He met others who dress like him, listen to the same music. I would rather him listen to bands like Skillet or Seventh Day Slumber versus Slipknot or Godsmack. Christian rock bands hit a group of people that contemporary praise and worship won't, at least not in the way we would want it to. |

No, but I can see where you are coming from. Hating on another nation, thinking we are better then them, those would be a sin of pride. However, having patriotism is being grateful for those that died for your freedom and the opportunities it has utimately given us. It's about honoring our forefathers. The pride is a healthy one because we are proud of our heritage, and all they have fought to accomplish. This generation doesn't understand patriotism though because we've been credit fed. lol. |

Does Divorce Harm Children

I will give my opinion as a child of divorce. Divorce hurts everyone. However, the effects vary on how one deals with divorce. In my experience, even though my dad and stepdad failed my mom, she was there for my brothers and I. She encouraged us to do well in school, etc. She raised four kids, in fact all of us (or will in June) graduated from high school. I have a college degree. Yes, there are emotional scars I deal with, but with the right support, children can heal and will get through the divorce. |

I voted for Huckabee in the primary, I even went to see him, which helped me decide who I was going to vote for. Right now, I honestly believe there isn't a strong candidate. However, the lesser of the evils is McCain. I am terrified of what could happen if either Obama or Clinton get in office. I don't care about whether Obama could be Muslim or not, what worries me about him is his association with a pastor who is racist, anti-american. |

You also have to remember Frank, Jesus spent his time with the least of these: tax collectors, the poor, etc etc. It is up to us to do the same thing. If one feels called to share the Gospel in music and in a bar, they should. God is using that person in a way we can never imagine. |
