What does it matter what we think? Everything must be backed up by the Word as we understand it. The Lord is the one that calls people to different postions because only He knows our hearts and ability. We have a spirit in us that bears witness with God's spirit. If he has called someone to do something, be it man or woman, it will prosper and you will see the fruits and feel the spirit in it. Pray for your leaders. Hardest Life Trials
	Not only trying to deal with the fact that my son died at age 19, but also having to deal with a horrible addiction to heroin (I, with the help of God am winning this long battle!). I would say these are the hardest trials I've been through. so far.

	Hi, I would advise you to do what your parents say, but keep in your mind what you truly believe. When you get older you can do what you want, regarding religion.

	Brandy, it's good that he was honest and told you he doesn't love your son, and that I can understand....sometimes it is really hard to truly love another person's child, BUT to treat him cold and indifferant is another thing altogether. NOT GOOD. I'd say what everybody else says: move on.

	'Hate Speech' is when you hate somebody for what their religion is, or their ethnic background, what color their skin is or for any reason that has to do with who they are.

	Sarah, you're suppose to disapline your children to TEACH them in LOVE. Not teach them by embarrassing them to the point of I dont know what. It's certainly NOT a control issue either. Is Harold Camping Correct
	I heard his teaching about the end of the churches, and thought it was impossible. But I really studied all the Bible passages he talks about, and I was amazed that it makes total sense. The Bible really shows that God is judging the churches. I was convinced after I read the Bible carefully.

Who Pays For A Date
	In the beginning the man should pay. Then, if the relationship continues, the lady could pay too. Being a lady, I'd feel really strange if a man asked me out on a date then asked me to pay for it too. It would probably be the last time I went on a date with that man!

Should Spankings Be Illegal
	Antoa: Guess what? I taught ALL my kids not to go near fire and I didn't have to spank them, not once! Plus, I taught them a lot more stuff without spanking them. Raising children was the hardest job I have had so far in my life. But WELL worth the effort.

I Suddenly Lost My Son

My heart goes out to you. Time is the great healer. Time and prayer. What made me feel a little better is that I made a quilt out of some of my son's clothing. His hign school graduation gown, some of his blue jeans, a favorite shirt he always wore and I even had some of his baby clothes that I saved (he was 19 when he died). But you are so right: all the 'firsts' can be so hard. Certain dates are still hard for me even though my son went to heaven over 10 years ago. It still hurts. God bless you, you're in my prayers.

What's Up May 2009
	My little grand son, Alex, is spending a few days with me and my husband. WOW! I forgot how much energy little kids can have! He's 18 months old. He wakes up really early. Yesterday he woke up before we knew, and put chili in my husbands boot! What does that mean?!

Helping A Neighbor
	It's really cool and nice of you to think of your neighbors and want to help them. Maybe there are some jobs they can do and then you could pay them? My husband has been out of work for several months and our neighbors always call on him when they need something done like car repair or little jobs, then they pay him. He's not embarrassed or too proud, it isn't his fault. God bless you.

	wow, Francis, what about all the people who SAW with their OWN eyes the planes crashing into the towers?? Are you saying that planes actually crashed into the towers but that is not what caused them to fall, or what? I dont understand what you're saying here.

Spare The Rod Spoiled Kid

Francis, I agree. When I was a kid (many years ago!) people could let their kids play outside all day and expect them to be safe and cared for. The neighbors all watched out for the kids. No adult ever ever hit a child. They would talk to us if we were being bad, or send us home. No way could parents let their children play outside all day now a days, unless you were with them. It just isn't the same, neighbors are differant today.

I apologize for going a bit off subject but this just reminds me of how blessed I really am. I have a decent place to live, I have water that comes out of a faucet whenEVER I want, I have a toilet (WHAT would we do without this simple thing)! I could go on....but believe it or not millions of people do not have these simple things. A toilet! Running, clean water! Healthy food! Thank you God! This week I am going to make a goal of helping somebody with less than I.
